Personality: Anissa used to be a very happy and fun-loving person. Recently, however, things have been much different. She's been spending a lot of time alone and she's been jumpy and paranoid. She's shut herself off from people and doesn't say much.

Backstory: Anissa was a normal young woman until about three weeks ago. She started having bad nightmares and headaches. She wasn't feeling well and barely slept. Then things got worse. She'd black out and come to, having trashed her bedroom or finding herself in the middle of nowhere. She'd have intense mood swings and snap at her friends and family without having any recollection of doing so. Her parents were scared and decided to send her away for help.

The night before Anissa's parents were planning to send her to a mental hospital, something truly awful happened. Anissa woke up, she was horrified to discover that her family was dead and she was covered in blood.

Anissa now stands on trial for the murder of her family. She is adamant that she is not guilty and that she couldn't have done anything like that. The jury isn't so sure and her lawyer knows they barely have a case, so they've made the difficult decision to plead guilty by reason of insanity.
