Nandini woke up first ..as the sun rays fell on her eyes..she lazily opened her eyes ..keeping the back of her palm on her eyes..while her other hand was stretching in the air..she wasn't fully awaken till yet when her consciousness made her recall the last night bickering with Manik..she smiled recalling all those words exchanged between them..

People say ..the first person who comes in your mind in the morning before opening your eyes..and the last face comes in your mind in night before closing your eyes..is the person..who is either the reason of your happiness or your sadness..and here the first person is Manik for her..who means world to her..

She sat back on bed..and first thing she saw her handsome hubby..sleeping on the couch..with his mouth little open..and as always ..he is looking extremely hot ..even in his sleep..he has the caliber to make her fall for him all over again..

She had a wide smile on her face..as after one long year..she has witness such scenario..watching him first in morning is the most pleasurable feeling for her..she stepped out of the bed..and walked towards him with slow And steady steps..

She reached up to him..and smiled..he was looking extremely cute ..she was having tough time holding her urge to kiss his lips..right there..but still..she bent down a little.. And came dangerously very close to him..her warm breath falling on his face..he stirred a little..and moved his pupil still closing his eyes..

She was about to Peck on his lips..when he opened his eyes and his eyes widened in shock after finding her so close to himself..

Manik : "what??.. kar..kar kya ..rahi ho tum?".. he stammered ..and this made her straighten ..she instantly turned around..showing her back to him..she shut her eyes tightly..and bit her tongue..

"Nandini..kar kya rahi thi tu?.." ..her mind asked..

"Kiss karne wali thi ..itna bhi nhi pata..".. her heart answered..

Manik stood up..and looked at her with confusion..he lightly tap on her shoulder..but she was hesitant to turn around...

"Now answer him..bolo use kya karne wali thi tum..".. her mind said to her..

She turned around...and showed him her 32 teeth..he crossed his hand around his chest..and raised his eye brows ..she knows he won't leave her till he don't get answer..

Nandini : "are..there was a fly on your face..so use bhaga rahi thi..".. she finally cooked up the story..

"Wah! Tumne toh story bhi bana li..kudos! ".. her heart said with grin..

"That's lame Nandini ..he is Manik Malhotra..kuch toh acha jhuth bol deti ..".. her mind chided her..

Manik : "really?.. fly?.. mai pagal lagta hoon tujhe?".. he asked with stern face..

Nandini : "ismei lagne ki kya jarurat hai..".. she said under her breath..

Manik : "kuch kaha tumne?"...he asked her as he didn't listened what she uttered..

Nandini : "Yaar! Manik sir!..apko mujhse ladna itna acha lagta hai kya?"...she finally came back to her lioness avatar..

Manik : "listen..stop trying to divert the topic..".. he said sternly..and now she looked at him baffled..

"Lag gayi class..subah subah..welcome back..professor Manik Malhotra".. her heart answered ...

Nandini : "woh ..Mai ..Han..am not diverting the topic..am diverting the route..".. she said sternly looking at him..and now he looked more confused..

Manik : "what?".. he asked her totally clueless..

Nandini : "uffo! Har baat batani padti hai apko..am going. ."..
She then finally escaped from there..straight to washroom..before Manik question her further..she left..

Manik : "ajeeb pagal hai..".. he said and then smiled a bit..

Inside the washroom..Nandini had taken the bath..and was rubbing towel on her wet Hairs..there was a shy smile on her face..as she recalled what she was actually about to do before he woke up..

But just then she heard the sound of manik's shout..she got curious..as he was shouting and on whom..

Nandini : "Manik ko Kya hua?.. why he is shouting?".. she got confused..she immediately wore her dress and came out..

But as soon she step outside the washroom..something knocked hard on her head..

Nandini : "ahhhh!".. she hissed in pain..and held her hand.. Manik who was standing in the right side of her..near window ..his eyes widened in shock..

He actually threw his phone in anger..and just then Nandini came out which knocked on her...he rushed to her with worry all over his face..

Manik : "Nandini..Nandini tum theek ho Na?.. jyada lag gayi?".. he panicked and now Nandini forgot all her pain..as soon as she heard his caring tone..she just got lost in him..he start rubbing his palm on her head..while she was staring at him lovingly..

Nandini : "am fine..relax!"...she finally said to ease his pain..as she noticed he actually freaked out ..

Manik : "No! You aren't fine..tum theek nahi ho..".. he said in a stern tone..then he made her sit on the bed..and called the room service..within some minute ..he heard the knock on the door..and a boy hand over him the jar full of ice..with Ice bag..

Manik ran towards her..he put all the ice cubes in the ice bag..and placed it on her head..while he was busy in easing her pain...she was busy in admiring him..

"Kitna pyaar karte ho mujhse tum..tumhari ankhon Mei saaf dikhta hai..but yeh distance ..this distance is making me crazy Manik..please come back to me ..please...".. she thought in her heart..looking in his eyes..while he was busy in doing his job..

After sometime ..he stopped and looked at her..his concern filled voice was giving her new hope..

Manik : "tum theek ho Na?".. he asked and she nodded with a smile..

Nandini : "woh Manik..".. she said absent mindedly..which made him look at her suddenly ..

Nandini : "I mean Manik sir..".. she covered it up instantly.. "on whom you were shouting..".. she asked and now this made Manik recall what happened 15 minutes ago..

Manik : "on none..it's just meri ek important meeting hai..tum yahi rest karo.. main aata hoon...".. he said and stood up ..she too stood up listening his words..

Nandini : "ap akele kyu ja rahe hai?.. main bhi chal rahi hoon apke Sath..".. she said stubbornly..

Manik : "no you Aren't coming with me..tumhe rest ki jarurat hai..".. he said in stern voice..looking at her..

Nandini : "but am fine ..".. she tried to argue..

Manik : "Nandini..no arguments..it's my order..you are staying here only..".. he answered to her and without listening any more word from her..he went in the washroom..

Nandini : "monster Manik!".. she cursed him under her breath..and then sat down on the bed..accepting her defeat..

Manik left the hotel..after instructing Nandini to take rest and he will be back soon..but she was all the time making bad faces to him..still Manik paid no heed to her cute antics..he left after telling her strictly to rest ..

Nandini : "ab main yaha karoon Kya?.. yeh Manik bhi Na..".. she said roaming to and fro in the room..

Just then she heard the sound of her phone ..she went towards her phone and saw it was a video call from Cabir.. her face light up after seeing the caller id..

She received the phone in a second and sat down comfortably on the bed..

Nandini : "hey!".. she said I'm her joyous tone and CaVya were elated to see that shine on her face..

Navya : "Cabir Hume lagta hai..no one missing us..".. she said teasingly..and Nandini smiled..

Cabir : "Han lag toh raha hai ..".. he too seconded her and Nandini showed eyes to both..

Nandini : "chup raho tum Dono..am really missing you both..".. she said after scolding both..and her confession made them smile wholeheartedly..

Cabir : "we too miss you doll.. kesi ho tum? Aur Manik..how's he?"..he asked with concern..and she can see that brotherly love in his eyes..

Nandini : "main theek hoon cabir..and Manik bhi..don't worry..".. she answered with a smile..

Navya : "tumhare hote hue ..Hume worry ki jarurat he nahi..".. she answered with a big broad smile which made Nandini smile wholeheartedly..

After talking for some good time.. cabir spoke..

Cabir : "theek hai Nandini..tum apna khayal rakhna..if you need anything..just tell me..okay..".. his lovable nature always bowled out her..

Nandini : "you are truly a gem cabir ..love you..".. she answered and after that ..they hung up the call..

It's almost 8 in night..and there is no sign of Mr. Workaholic..she called him once but he said he is busy..so she thought to not disturb him..now she was really hungry..but she was waiting for him to come..

She was sitting on her bed..going through some of their pictures in her mobile and a smile appeared on her face..just then she heard the sound of knob..so she instantly locked her mobile and placed it in side..

Next she saw.. Manik entering inside the room..her face light up.. seeing his face..he too smiled after looking at her..

Manik : "how are you now?".. he asked with worry..

Nandini : "am fine .. don't worry..".. she assured him .and he walked towards her..

Manik : "kuch khaya tumne?".. he asked while removing his wrist watch..on which she nodded a big no..

Manik : "but kyu?".. he asked ..

Nandini : "woh I was waiting for you..".. she answered very sweetly..

Manik : "kyu?.. jhagra karne ka man karha tha?".. he mocked and she opened her mouth in little anger.

Nandini : "main jhagra karti hoon?.. fine! Mujhe baat he nahi karni..".. she answered and moved her face side ways..he chuckled at her childish nature..

Manik : "aren't you hungry?.. if not then am going alone..".. he said and started walking outside the room..

Nandini : "are...don't you know..gussa kabhi khane pe nahi nikalte ..mai bhi chalti hoon..".. with that she stepped out of the bed.. he smiled inwardly...

"Such a kiddo she is!".. his heart said instantly drooling over her childishness..

"And such a idiot you are..".. his mind said making his heart irritated..

Manik : "these two can never have enough of their fights..".. he mentally said to himself..and while Nandini walked towards him..for a change..she is in her red saree..looking extremely stunning in that..

Nandini : "chale?".. she asked and he nodded..both walked out of the hotel..for some good food..as Nandini didn't liked the food of hotel in afternoon..so she denied having dinner there..

It's late in night..approx 10 ..they both had their dinner and now coming back to hotel..Manik was driving and she was enjoying the weather..while his heart was dreamingly observing her..

Suddenly it started raining heavily..so Manik asked Nandini to close the window..she unwillingly did..but then manik's car broke down..and this made Nandini smile evilly..

Manik : "what?.. why you are smiling?.. can't you see we are in trouble..ek toh itni baarish ho rahi hai..aur I don't think yaha Hume koi help milegi..".. he said irritatingly..but she chuckled..

"She never takes you seriously..".. his mind instantly answered..on which Manik himself nodded in yes..

Manik : "what's so funny Nandini?".. he asked raising his eye brow..

Nandini : "you".. she answered and he looked at her hysterically..

Manik : "what nonsense".. he answered irritatingly..

Nandini : "ohho! Manik sir..ap itni jaldi pareshan kyu ho jate hai..see there..waha se light aa rahi hai..may be Hume koi help mil jaye..".. she made him look in his right side and he noticed some light..

Manik : "theek hai..dekhte hai chalke..".. both then walked out of the car..and went straight to that point where they saw some light..

When they reached the spot..it was a old hut..manik called someone..but none answer..

Nandini : "I don't think ..yaha koi rehta hai..".. she answered after they both entered inside the hut..and Manik too looked all around And thought the same..

Manik : "I think..we should stay here only..till yeh baarish ruk nahi jati..".. he answered and she nodded in yes..

After sometime..

Manik was lighting some woods and Nandini was sitting on the bed of hay.. she was listening the sound of raindrops..and seems like they were calling her..she saw Manik busy in lighting the fire..so she moved out without manik's acknowledgement..

Manik : "it's damn cold here..yeh baarish toh ruk........".. he was talking and when he turned around..he stopped abruptly..as Nandini wasn't there..

Manik : "yeh kaha chali gayi?.. Abhi toh yahi thi..".. he thought to himself and walked out of the hut..

And when he came outside..he was mesmerized ..with the beauty..she was standing there..back facing him..her hands were opened ..her face was facing the sky..she was twirling slowly ..drenching in rain..enjoying every single raindrops..

"Irresistible ".. his heart answered and he smiled..

He walked inside the hut..and made her lay down on the bed of hay..she was looking keenly in his eyes..as those eyes were carrying the same desire.. Same passion..same intensity..same love.. Manik : "am..am sorry..".. those two words he said with guilt and pain..and that was it ..she never ever thought that any day he will regret their intimacy..a lone tear fell down her eyes ..and she stood up..she was looking at him frantically ..while he was standing their frustrating..

Nandini : "thank you!".. she suddenly said something very shocking with painful tone..this made him turn around..and he noticed pain and tears in her eyes..his world stopped for a moment ..after seeing those eyes filled with only agony..

Nandini : "thank you for making me feel disgusted..". She finally completed while he was shockingly looking at her..

Why she saying so?.. is
she regretting our intimacy?.. So many questions ran through his mind..but answer was only with her..

Nandini : "am feeling disgusted..not because humare beech Jo Abhi hua ..but because..your sorry made me feel like that way...am feeling like am throwing myself on you..aesa lag raha hai..whatever just happened was only physical need".. she said with broken heart and soul..tears flowing out of her eyes while her words pricked in his heart..

"It wasn't physical need..it wasn't lust.." ..his heart screamed with pain..but his mouth was shut..

Manik : "nan...".. he tried to console her by forwarding his hand but she back off..leaving him hurt..

Nandini : "you must be thinking that mai intentionally aapke kareeb aane ki koshish karti hoon ..hai na.. Yes! You are right Mr. Manik Malhotra.. mai intentionally apke pass aati hoon..but not because of lust ..but because of my .......".. she was about to say love but stopped..she suppressed her sobbing sound by sealing her mouth..

Nandini : " aap yehe chahte ho na..ki mai chali Jau apse door..kabhi apke samne na aau..fine! Am going ..am going back.."... she finally said something more hurtful..he was watching her with more pain now ..his heart started bleeding badly with her words..he can see that today she is shattered ..and nothing..nothing can console her..

Nandini : "bye.."... she said sternly ..and took some steps away from him..but he held her hand ..and she stopped in mid...she was controlling herself from not collapsing down right there..and cry as much as she can..

Manik : "am sorry!" .. he again said those two words..which pricked in her heart..she tried to snatch her hand from him..but next what he said made her froze..

Manik : "am sorry...... Shona!".. he said last word with a little pause..and that one name made her froze.. she turned around with a jerk and looked at him shockingly..his eyes were teary ..and she can see that same love in his eyes today..which was always there for her..

But how he called her Shona? .. that means ..that means he remember everything?? That means he remember her?.. that means he remember them?...

She started drowning in the pool of questions..and was looking at him with bewilderment..

Screen freezes on her shocking expression..
