The two lay there in the parking garage. Night time city echoes in the air, two bestfriends vs. the world. Everything that God and nature could throw. These two were second graders and now they almost don't recognize themselves. One ear bud in each of their ears listening to the same tune of what they need. Slowly they get closer, the amount of love is so intense they can hardly fathom it themselves, it scares them both. But it's what they want and need. They can read each other, and they can just see their eyes and know what they're feeling. He's terrified for them both, he's terrified of how much love he has. So much so, he's happy it's so scary. Just like his nightmares showed him...he's willing to kill for her in a model of what the devil does to sinners. She doesn't know what to think of when she wants to imagine their future together. To them they're Adam and Eve in the flesh, they're terrified for each other, yet they know, "it's till death do us part." He scoots his arm under her head for the support and to give her the feeling of security. Her left-hand squeezes harder like his left hand does. A tear forms at her eye, so much has led up to this and reviews are all that's left for them to keep it going. A tear forms in both his eyes and he doesn't want to, but he must, just because he wants to, he has known that they are all they have when blood is not in the equation. He lifts himself to her, face to face. Rushing himself up only to slow down and meet with her. They face each other on their shoulders and forehead-to-forehead they smile but squeeze both their eyes and lips to themselves. Lips meeting again, his arms around her to shield her with jagged fingers at the back of her neck and head and her arms around his neck to keep themselves locked together and to keep them together. He looks at her, ".... you have to show me." She opens, and he meets inside and the amount of passion pouring through them both is enough to make the world reshape. Heavy breaths, eye's shut tight, finger intertwine, their hands clench together. The world doesn't exist to them, God put them there and he's in pain so much, not just his mind but that punch gave him a pain to a left side ribs.No one else matters, and forehead-to-forehead and eyes filled with joy so much it leaks through their eyes. She lays on his arm and they look at each other. He's trembling, and she holds his hand. Has anything ever been so intimate? Have you ever held on to nothing while you drowned?
