*branch was looking for poppy*

Branch: Poppy?

Branch: Poppy?

*branch saw poppy sitting on a tree branch looking up at the stars*

Branch: oh there you are! I was looking all over-

*he soon started to hear her crying*

Branch: p-poppy?

*branch crawled onto the tree branch and slowly walked to her from behind*

Branch: something wrong?

*poppy gasps startled*

Branch: Poppy? is there something bothering you?...

Branch (softly): why are you crying?

Poppy: *tries to speak clearly but her sobs drain her out*

Branch: do you wanna talk about it?

Poppy: *sniffles and nods with tears streaming down her face*

*Poppy sits back down onto the tree branch while branch sits next to her*

Branch: why were you crying?

Poppy: well I -... *starts sobbing again*

Branch: hey baby, look at me...

*branch makes her look at him by holding her chin up while he wiped her tears*

Branch: why are you so sad?

Poppy (choking up): well when I was a human and when I was little my parents... *sobs harder*

Branch: your parents what?

Poppy (sobbing): they died! *sobs even harder with more tears streaming down her cheeks*

Branch: o-oh my god, poppy, i-i never knew

Poppy: *sniffles* Y-yeah a-a-and that was the reason why lived with my step-mother and her daughters...*sobs the hardest she could and lets her tears stream down her cheeks*

Branch: oh poppy...

*branch pulled her close to him and he rested his chin on the top of her head, allowing poppy to cuddle him while he wiped her tears away*

Branch: I feel so bad for you, but you shouldn't have to suffer alone...

Branch: when I was little, the same thing happened to me too...

Poppy: you lost your parents too?

Branch: *sighs* yeah but there was something my dad sang to me when I was a baby

Branch: d'you want me to sing it to you?

Poppy: *sniffles* sure...

*branch and poppy stand up and they swing onto a plateau using their hair*
