*branch and poppy were sitting in a tree, watching the songbirds sing*

Branch:..hey poppy?

Poppy: yeah branchie-poo?

Branch: I was uh kinda wondering if you wanted to go on...a date?

Poppy: sure!

Branch: and I mean since we met we didn't really have an official first date

Poppy: well that's alright when d'you wanna meet?

Branch: maybe around midnight?

Poppy: okay! *kisses branch's cheek*

Poppy: I'll see ya later tonight

Branch: okay

*poppy hops down and branch smiles at her*

*branch was holding his hands over poppy's eyes so she wouldn't see the surprise*

Branch: alright poppy just a little bit more

Poppy: aw come on branchie I'm getting impatient...

Branch: we're almost there baby

Branch: okay, ready to see it?

Poppy: yes! yes! yes!

*branch takes his hands off her eyes*

*poppy gasps in amazement*

*it was a beautiful waterfall with a shimmering moon*

Branch: do you like it?

Poppy: are you kidding me? IT'S BEAUTIFUL!!! Where'd you find this place?

Branch: ohh, Jack told me about this place a while ago and I thought you'd love it

Poppy: it's so beautiful of course I love it!

Branch: well you know me I'm a troll with charms unlike any other

Poppy: *giggles* care to dance?

Branch: of course my love

*branch and poppy begin to slow dance with each other under the stars and the radiant moon*

*after a few hours of slow dancing, branch slightly dips poppy with the water reflecting off her skin*

Poppy: oh branch this has been the best first date ever~

Branch: *chuckles* I'd knew you'd love it and besides I'd do anything to make you happy~

Poppy: just shut up and kiss me

*poppy pulls branch into a sweet and passionate kiss, closing her eyes*

*branch caresses her cheek and closes his eyes, pulling her close to him*

*poppy and branch breakaway and they stare off into their eyes*

Branch: I love you poppy

Poppy: I love you too branch
