I was sitting outside with Zinnia while we cleaned. I was taking a break and placed my bucket on the lawn. I saw mother come outside and demand for us to come inside. I saw Zinnia was in shock and went to go tap her. We started to run up to the house, but Zinnia tripped on the pail I had left out. Mother ran outside to pick up my sister, but Mother ended up getting picked up by a beam of light. Zinnia was tossed on the ground again. I went to comfort her. I looked at her then I placed my head down on her shoulder them closed my eyes. I heard it, but I couldn't see it, a big announcement came on a screen. It boomed something similar to this:
"People of this planet, Please don't think your home is under attack, think of it as if you were welcoming guests into your home. We are just fixing some things on your planet."
I couldn't remember exactly what it said and I know it was longer, but that's what the jist of it was. I heard father start to come outside after the announcement and I knew Zinnia was about to get in trouble, but I couldn't help her, even if I tried. I heard yelling and arguing from father and Zinnia then felt her hold my hand and Father pull us to the ships. I started to walk halfway there and saw her hair tied up, she was not happy.

While we walked, I saw huge trees and lakes along with ponds and other people. I was admiring the view when Zinnia stepped on me. I was so engrossed in the scenery that I just glared at her and told her to watch out.
"Sorry Orion, I was thinking about mother. I miss her a lot, I bet you do as well," She made me stop in my tracks. I shrugged off the feeling, ignored her and walked away.

When it was night, I almost fell asleep instantly, but not without thinking about Zinnia and Mother. I hope she doesn't turn into Father. I slept almost soundly that night but couldn't stop thinking about Zinnia. I felt bad for her because she was the closest to mother. I missed Mother as well, but she would miss her more.

When it was dawn, I rose out of my bed and raced outside to see if anyone was up and ready. I saw some kids around my age and ran to play with them. We were already playing with toys and pretending to be astronauts when Father came outside. He looked for me and when he found me, I could see big 'disappointment' on his face. He gave me a small glare and walked over. He was about to yell at me but, he saw my friends moms and dads around so all he did was say
"Having fun Orion? I will make breakfast, enjoy your new friends." He gave me a pat on the back and left.

Me and my friends played and played. I noticed that Zinnia still wasn't awake and was tempted to wake her up, but I knew she needed sleep. To be honest, I don't think she wanted to talk to me either. She was tired and had plenty of stress on her shoulders right now.

I saw Zinnia start to water the garden and a guy her age walk up to her. She did not look happy. I ignored them and went back to playing space time with my friends.

When the guy left, it was a little past noon and I started to smell a fresh, yummy sandwich from our house. I asked one of my friends if they could go get it for me from the house, but they all declined. I walked up to my house and asked Zinnia if  my sandwich was done. To save conversation, I grabbed the sandwich and left. I didn't care if she called me rude, we both needed space.

I played with my friends for a while longer after that. I started to get curious though.
"Where did you guys get all this stuff?" I slowly whispered, I was still very shy.
"Our moms' and dads' bought them for us. Our siblings helped to." One of them responded.
"Don't you have cool stuff? From your parents or sister? Also, where is your mom? I haven't seen her yet. I saw your dad come talk to you and your sister sunbathing earlier, but where's your mom?" My friend talked very fast.
" I, uh, I don't get cool stuff because my family likes to save money. My Mother was kidnapped to the other side of the ship before the big announcement came on. She didn't get a chance to choose. " I sighed.
"Oh, well. Here, keep this, you can keep it as a reminder of us. We don't want to lose you. It will be a memory. Plus, I already have 3." One of my newly found friends held out a new looking action figure. My eyes glistened from this act of kindness, I couldn't believe someone would want to do this for me.
"Thanks, it's so cool." I took it and hugged it along with my old dog stuffy. My eyes started to tear up as I hugged it more and some dust on the ground started to rise up as another ship landed on the ship we were in. That had been happening a lot ever since the aliens started to rebuild our planet. All the aliens say they're not rebuilding it, they're just improving it to make it suit them. I casually listen to some of the aliens' conversations with each other, they speak weirdly.

After me and my friends talked and played more, another screen came. A smaller screen came down with it. The first screen had an alien/human on it and the second one had our new home on it. The plans for our entirely new environment. I tuned out the screen with the alien talking and stared at the houses, trees, lakes, ponds, flowers, gardens, schools, greenhouses, stores and people. There were mini-versions of people on the screen. I saw me and my new friends playing in the water while mom and Zinnia gardened. Father was a businessman but was working from home, inside. I saw inside our house and Father was slacking and watching T.V. I could imagine Father being like that. I held my head down and just thought to myself. I walked off and wandered around the ship.

I was so lost in thought as I walked that I lost track of where I was going and found a huge diamond wall, I saw it slowly filling with oil. I kicked it and not even a scratch appeared.

I walked along the wall and found it led to another wall that was made of steel. There was a small door attached. I walked through the door and a hologram randomly appeared. It asked me a few questions but I just stood there.
"Age, name, family, reason you're here, alien or human, do you really want to cross?"  It stared at a clipboard it had and stood waiting for my response.
"Orion Andromeda Trillia-rookez. 7. My family is the Trillarookezs'. My Mothers name is Jarcia Strombia Trillia. My Father is Larry Andérew Rookez. My sister is Zinnia Anthea Trillia-rookez. I'm here because I was walking and stumbled upon this wall. I am a human. I don't understand what you mean by if I want to cross," I scoffed the last part. I have never needed to use any of my family members' full names before because they are long confusing names. I stared at the hologram with confusion.
"Look, kid, the walls to cross over  to the learning side of the ship." I thought about this for a second.
"Would I be able to cross over again?" I stuttered then remembered Mother was on that side and I wanted to go tell Zinnia very badly. The hologram finally looked up and I just looked down and started to walk away.

I had to find Zinnia and tell her about this discovery I had found. I ran as fast as I could. I ran like the wind, faster. I couldn't wait to tell her the news. But I was stopped by Two guards that said I had to pass because I now knew where the diamond wall was. I tried to explain, but they didn't want to hear my excuses so they pushed me through the door. The last thing I saw was a hologram and two guards looking at me creepily. Then, I was on a cold steel floor. The door was shut and I was officially on the learning side of the ship. I could see the diamond wall more clearly now. I was trapped on the other side of the ship. I saw another hologram and went up to it to explain I had to cross over again, but it stared at me and said that no one from this side could pass over. I looked behind my shoulder, and started to realize why.
