Claudia was trying to put her necklace on, Nathan walked into the room and helped to put on the necklace. Nathan finished and Claudia walked over to the closet.

"Hey, sorry. I'll just be one more minute." Claudia smiled as she slipped on her heels. "I've never seen Jamie so keyed up. He's so excited about this game. Grace is practicing her cheerleading moves and it is so cute." Claudia explained really happy. Nathan looked at her and didn't say anything. "Everything all right?" Claudia asked as she walked up to him, Nathan sighed.

"I have to tell you something. It's about Carrie." Nathan sighed slowly, Carrie walked into the bedroom. 

"I should probably be the one to tell her." Carrie said and Nathan looked at her confused. "I have to give my two weeks notice." Carrie admitted and Nathan was not expecting that.

"Why?" Claudia asked confused as she walked closer to Carrie.

"Because I got accepted to a graduate program that I thought I couldn't afford, but I got a last-minute scholarship offer, and I think I have to take it." Carrie smiled and Claudia was so happy for her. Despite it was all a lie.

"Well, of course you do. Congratulations." Claudia exclaimed as she hugged Carrie. "We're gonna miss you. I hope Jamie and Grace don't take it too hard." Claudia explained and Carrie looked straight at Nathan.

"Yeah, I'm gonna miss you, too. More than you know." Carrie admitted and Nathan looked away uncomfortably. Carrie left the room and Claudia turned to face Nathan.

"I can't believe it." Claudia confessed. "So shall we go?" Claudia asked holding onto Nathan's hand. He nodded his head and they left the room.

They were all in the library together, turns out they were all trapped in the library. Brooke walked up to them after getting off of the phone.

"Okay, they're fixing all the other doors. No handles." Brooke explained and Claudia sighed.

"And the phones seem to be out." Peyton stated.

"All the calls will go through the office. Nobody's answering." Haley explained. 

"Does anybody have cell phone reception? 'Cause I got nothing." Peyton asked but it was no use.

"I don't." Haley moaned and Claudia shook her head as she held up her phone.

"Nobody ever gets cell phone reception in here. Except for me, 'cause the world loves me! I'm gonna call Mouth. I'll have us out of here in two seconds." Brooke grinned as she phoned Mouth. The girls waited patiently. "It went to voice mail." Brooke groaned and all the girls sighed.

"There's got to be somebody else we can call to get out of here. I am going to go see if I can get service over there." Claudia said as she walked over to the other side of the library. It was the little table were she used to tutor Nathan. She ran her finger over a carving that said 'NS+CS'. They wrote it there when they first started dating. Claudia checked to see if there was service, there wasn't any. Claudia walked back to the group and saw Lindsay was freaking out. She ran over to her.

"Come sit down for a second, ok? All right, just breathe and close your eyes and try and think of a place that makes you happy and calm. You got it? Where are you?" Claudia asked as she sat Lindsay down at a table next to all the windows.

"I'm with my dad. We're walking near Walden Pond. It's fall. The leaves are changing.' Lindsay explained with her eyes closed.

"You're not here. You're there. Better?" Claudia asked and Lindsay nodded her head.

"Yeah." Lindsay breathed as she opened her eyes. 

"Okay." Claudia smiled and Lindsay began to freak out again. "You okay?" Claudia asked a Lindsay stood up.

"I'm thinking I can break this window." Lindsay said staring at the glass window. However, all windows have to be really secure in schools.

"Lindsey, somebody's gonna come get us out of here." Claudia said laughing a little. 

"I can do it." Lindsay stated as she grabbed onto the chair. Claudia shook her head as Lindsay brought the chair above head. However, the chair was really heavy sos he ended up falling backwards. "Jeez, that chair is really heavy." Lindsay groaned and Claudia couldn't help but laugh.

"Guys, seriously." Claudia stated as she walked over to see them all ordering a pizza together.

"Just order the damn pizza." Lindsay shouted and Claudia walked away again, she couldn't be bothered with all the fighting. Claudia walked back after she had calm down.

"What'd we get?" Brooke asked and Claudia sat next to Haley at the table.

"No mushroom, Brooke, okay? No "mush," no "room"... no mushroom!" Peyton shouted frustrated.

"Relax, okay? The pizza guy's gonna come, he's gonna let us out, and maybe we'll make the end of the game, so in the meantime, everybody calm down!" Claudia explained and everyone stayed quiet. Mia finally spoke up. 

"You did a great job with my record, Claudia." Mia complimented and Claudia laughed confused.

"Thank you... Where did that come from?" Claudia asked confused.

"I don't know. I just think we tear each other down enough, you know? And sometimes you should tell people the things that you love about them, like something they're really great at or a quality they have that you admire, and you did a really good job." Mia explained and Claudia smiled at her gratefully.

"Courage. Claudia's courageous." Peyton complimented. Claudia smiled at her.

"And strong." Brooke added, Claudia blushed smiling.

"And kind." Lindsay said joining in. 

"She has a really hot brother." Haley joked and Claudia laughed a lot. 

"See, don't you feel like you're pretty awesome now?" Mia asked grinning and Claudia nodded

"Yeah, I kinda do." Claudia smiled at all the girls.

"Okay, do me. What's great about me?" Mia asked grinning.

"Your voice is an amazing gift." Hale started off and the girls nodded their head agreeing.

"The fact that you came up with this game." Lindsay added.

"Your personality and how you tackle what you are afraid of head on. All guns blazing, I wish I could do that." Claudia smiled honestly.

"Your boobs." Peyton added and Claudia nodded her head in agreement.

"And your lips. I would kill for lips like that. And you've got good legs. It's like a whole..." Brooke began to ramble on but Claudia stopped her.

"Okay. Before this turns into a women-in-prison film, I think we should move on." Claudia laughed.

"Lindsey. Your eyes are, like, not even fair." Mia confessed.

"I second that." Claudia added lifting her hand up.

"You're also one of the smartest people I know." Haley added and Lindsay shook her head.

"I am not." Lindsay replied modestly.

"And you're classy." Brooke added and Lindsay blushed.

"You guys..." Lindsay began to say but Mia interrupted her.

"Peyton, isn't there something nice you'd like to say about Lindsey?" Mia asked and Peyton turned to face Lindsay.

"She got decent taste in men." Peyton stated and Claudia had to hold in her laugh as Peyton drank some whiskey. "This game sucks." Peyton groaned as she started to walk away.

"I'm intimidated by Peyton. I spent a year editing a book that was basically a love letter to her. I watched how caring and meticulous Lucas was with the words he chose for her, like he was still holding on to her. Sometimes I think he still is." Lindsay admitted and Claudia kept her mouth shut, considering the kiss and all. 

"Which is why he proposed to you, right? Yeah, I can see that." Peyton stated bluntly before she walked away.

"Wait. Hold on. Are you telling me Lucas slept with Peyton, Brooke, and you, Lindsey?" Mia asked as Claudia walked over to her friends. 

"Yeah. Not all at the same time." Lindsay joked and all the girls laughed.

"Jeez, Haley, Claudia, you sure you never got in on that?" Mia asked and both Claudia and Haley gagged.

"Ew, he's like our brother." Claudia laughed.

"I'm just saying. Jamie looks a lot like him." Mia replied but Claudia didn't see it.

"Ah, they're like twins." Lindsay smiled but when Claudia looked at Jamie all she could see was Nathan.

"They are not!" Claudia protested as Brooke walked up to them. She heard the whole thing.

"Yes, they are. And what inbred moron is taking so long with our pizza?" Brooke groaned and Claudia pointed to the big window.

"I will go to the window and check if I can see anyone." Claudia said as she walked over to the window to look. Claudia couldn't see anyone, she walked back to the girls in the same place.

"What's happening?" Claudia asked as she whispered in Haley's ear.

"Mia got a couple of bad reviews." Haley replied and Claudia just nodded her head.

"Oh, sticks and stones, Mia." Lindsay replied as Brooke and Peyton arrived.

"Right. This coming from the girl that couldn't handle it when I said I didn't like her." Peyton said rudely.

"Okay. Let's just check the scorecard on this one, miss "pity me." You dated the guy two years ago, you disappeared, then you come back and expect him to drop everything for the love of your bony jobless ass." Lindsay explained harshly. Claudia couldn't stand this fighting.

"Okay, D.U.I." Claudia muttered, not making things any better.

"Nice work, Claudia. Better save ol' drinky here before I kick her spoiled ass all the way back to Walden Pond." Peyton glared at Lindsay.

"Guess this is the second time you'll be bleeding all over this library." Lindsay stated harshly and Claudia thought she was way out of line. The girls tried to break up their fight. 

"You think that's funny?!" Peyton exclaimed angry and Tim walked into the library. Everyone stopped. 

"Tim Smith is in the lib-ra-zee!" Tim exclaimed and the door was open. The door to freedom was open. Brooke ran at it.

"Oh, my God. Oh, my God!" She exclaimed and Tim stopped her by taking her in his arms. "Tim, put me down!" Brooke shouted as the door closed fast. The girls knew they had no chance. "You idiot! The door is locked!" Brooke exclaimed and Tim shook his head.

"No, it's not. I just walked in, Brooke." Tim explained laughing and Claudia rolled her eyes.

"From the outside, Tim. The door is locked from the outside. We cannot get out!" Brooke shouted as she pushed him off of her. Tim gave a shocked face.

"Girl, chill. I'll just call somebody at the pizza place and have them send someone... I left my phone in my scooter. Motorcycle. It's a motorcycle." Tim explained and all the girls sighed. "Well, since we're locked in here all alone... who wants a piece? Extra sausage." Tim grinned winking and Claudia was away to slap him.

They were all sitting together and eating pizza. They were still locked in the library. 

"I believe in ghosts." Tim stated, starting up a conversation. Claudia looked at Tim confused.

"Totally." Mia exclaimed grinning.

"Yeah, don't even get me started." Peyton sighed, she was thinking about the time when she was being haunted by the Dark Angel Peyton.

"Do you believe in ghosts, Linds?" Haley asked Lindsay. Claudia was just eating her pizza. 

"I think if someone dies suddenly, especially before their time, maybe they get confused. They don't know to leave a place." Lindsay explained and Claudia nodded her head in agreement.

"You think they're still here, then? Jimmy Edwards and Keith?" Tim asked and Claudia's breath hitched.

"I am just going to go over there." Claudia said awkwardly as she pointed to the empty table. She was too busy thinking about Jimmy and Keith. They all looked over at Claudia but Haley just shook her head.

"She will be fine, I promise." Haley smiled and they all nodded their heads as Claudia cried softly.  

"What is wrong with her?" Lindsay asked and Haley leaned over.

"Keith was a second dad to her and as you know he died here. You will also know that Claudia was in the building and she always thinks that maybe she could have stopped Jimmy and Dan would have never got the gun and killed Keith." Haley explained whispered it to Lindsay. "She hasn't had one of those thoughts in years. She was doing really great." Haley added and Lindsay nodded her head.

"And this is a picture of my son. A lot of people say he looks like me, but I'm not quite sure he's that handsome." Tim explained as she showed Haley and Claudia a picture of his son. He was really cute.

"He's really something. What's his name?" Claudia asked looking at the picture.

"Nathan." Tim grinned and Haley burst out laughing. Claudia looked at Tim awkwardly before she sat with the rest of the girls.

"Mine's a snow day. My happy place. Lindsey's is Walden Pond. Mine's a snow day in Ohio." Mia explained, they were all speaking about their happy place.

"No school." Haley grinned and Claudia nodded her head in agreement.

"I'd stay in bed under the warm covers, and my mom would bring me hot chocolate. How 'bout you, Peyton? Your mom ever bring you hot chocolate on a snow day?" Mia asked and Peyton stuttered awkwardly.

"No, I didn't have... I didn't have a whole lot of snow days. Brooke and I did build a pretty killer snow fort once." Peyton explained, changing the topic away from her mom.

"And you sat in it, and you worried that your lives were about to change." Lindsay recited from the book smiling. She knew it off by heart. 

"Just because you edited a book about my life doesn't mean you know anything about me." Peyton spat and Lindsay looked at her awkwardly.

"I didn't mean anything by it. I was just... It's a beautiful story." Lindsay replied and Mia started to play her guitar. 

"That's nice, Mia." Claudia complimented.

"Thanks. I've had this melody forever and just don't have the lyrics yet." Mia explained glum.

"Why don't you keep playing it and maybe we can help you?" Haley asked and Claudia nodded her head in agreement.

"I think maybe we should probably just work on that in the studio, alone." Peyton said and Lindsay laughed.

"Oh, for God's sakes. What am I gonna do... steal Mia's song?" Lindsay asked shouting.

"I don't know. Songs? Friends?" Peyton asked and Claudia looked down awkwardly.

"What about you, scraggly? I heard you stole Lucas from Brooke once. Pot, meet kettle." Peyton said offending Peyton.

"Ass, meet face." Peyton stated.

"Pot, meet kettle Ass, meet face...I don't think that's gonna work, guys." Mia sang and Claudia laughed at her jokey sighed.

"Wait! That's hot! No, drop that bomb again! I got something." Tim exclaimed smirking.

"Yeah? All right, ready?" Mia asked.

"Okay." Tim nodded his head.

"One, two, three, four..." Mia said before she started to play. Tim joined in by singing. 

"Straight from the ghetto, Packing wood like Geppetto ain't gonna bathe till I look like Jared Leto." Tim sang and everyone laughed. 

"Let me try one." Lindsay smirked straight at Peyton.

"Two, three, four..." Mia said before Lindsay began to sing.

"My name's Peyton Fake, blond Peyton I don't have a boyfriend 'Cause I'm a bitch." Lindsay sang and Peyton shook her head. Claudia just stayed quiet because she knew it was the best thing to do.

"Play it again, Mia." Peyton ordered.

"Guys, we need to stop." Haley said trying to get everyone's attention. She thought this was just ridiculous.

"Mia." Peyton stated.

"One, two, three, four..." Mia said before she began to play the guitar.

"Her name's Lindsey... man-faced Lindsey and her fiancé proposed to me first with the very same ring!" Peyton sang and Claudia glared at Peyton.

"You're lying." Lindsay croaked holding back the tears.

"Oh, you didn't know?" Peyton asked smirking. She was acting like the bitch in high school that every plotted to over through.

"Peyton." Brooke warned, even she knew that Peyton was out of line.

"No, is she gonna cry?" Peyton asked everyone tauntingly.

"Come on we are not in high school anymore." Claudia groaned, she was sick off all the fighting. Haley raised a brow at her. "I know we are in a high school. You know what mean." Claudia added.

"Stop it." Lindsay warned.

"Go ahead, let's cry, little rich girl." Peyton taunted and Lindsay was away to cry.

"I said stop it." Lindsay warned again and Claudia and Haley felt bad for her.

"Is daddy gonna throw you a great, big, huge wedding at Walden Pond for his little crybaby daughter?" Peyton asked, obviously, she didn't know about Lindsay's past. Or at least what happened to her dad.

"Peyton, you don't know what you're talking about!" Claudia shouted getting annoyed at Peyton, she was being so rude and ignorant.

"It's fine. Daddy's gonna make everything better for the little rich girl that got everything she ever wanted!" Peyton shouted at Lindsay and that sent her over the edge.

"He's dead! All right, Peyton?" Lindsay spat and Peyton shut right up. "He's dead. He died two years ago from cancer, but not until he couldn't walk or talk or even recognize me. Does that make you happy? Does that make you feel better? That his death is with me every day, that I was the one who had to turn off the ventilator because my mother was too destroyed to do it?" Lindsay asked crying. Claudia was crying too, it was such a sad story and no one deserved to go through it. "You want to hear the sound he made before he took that last breath? Oh, 'cause I can still hear it exactly how it sounded. Oh, does that make you happy? Are you glad that my life isn't perfect?" Lindsay shouted and all the girls looked so emotional. Peyton felt like shit. She felt so bad, truly bad.

"Lindsey..." Peyton began to say but Lindsay interrupted her.

"I used to admire the Peyton from the book. She seemed so noble... kind. I wish she were here, Peyton. That version of you. What happened to her?" Lindsay asked before she left, Haley followed after her to make sure she was okay. Claudia stood up and walked into the corner by herself. The whole story reminded her of her dad's death and it was too much for her. She cried softly in the corner.

Claudia walked towards everyone to see that Tim was the door was opened.

"Tim knew how to open the door, the whole time." Haley hissed through gritted teeth. Claudia raised an eyebrow at Tim.

"Why didn't you say something?" Claudia asked as Haley ran up to the door to keep it open.

"I miss you guys. Nobody keeps in touch anymore." Tim explained and Claudia looked at him sympathetically.

"Tim, we will see each other again. But I have got to see my babies." Claudia smiled before she ran out of the library all the girls followed after her. She was so excited to be out and free.
