Claudia woke up and rubbed her eyes. She turned around to see Nathan with his eyes closed.

"Are you awake?" Claudia asked and Nathan kept his eyes closed.

"No." He replied and Claudia laughed a tiny bit.

"Are you sure baby, because I am pretty sure you don't sleep talk?" Claudia asked grinning and Nathan opened up one eye confused. How Claudia could be so happy the next day? "Sorry I got upset with you, I did overreact." Claudia apologised as she moved closer to Nathan.

"You had a right to be upset. I finally started walking again. I've got no business being in some guy's face." Nathan explained and Claudia sighed.

"Lucas kissed Peyton." She stated bluntly.

"What? When?" Nathan asked shocked.

"Before we left TRIC, in Peyton's office. I walked in, and I saw the whole thing, or enough of it. I don't understand how Lucas can do that to Lindsey after everything that they've been through. And Peyton, who does she think she is? She turned down Lucas' proposal. She broke his heart. She has no right to take him from Lindsay." Claudia explained getting all frustrated and annoyed. Her best friend was cheating on a really nice girl who deserved happiness.

"Maybe it wasn't what it looked like. Maybe it was just a friendly kiss, or maybe it was a goodbye kiss. Maybe it was just a mistake." Nathan replied trying to make up excuses for his big brother.

"No, I know what I saw. This was a full-on romantic Lucas/Peyton kiss." Claudia stated sternly. "It wasn't a..." Claudia said before she kissed Nathan quickly and bluntly on the lips. "It was more." Claudia continued before she kissed Nathan passionately on the lips. They pulled away.

"You should forget what you saw." Nathan replied and Claudia groaned.

"Oh, really, forget it?" Claudia asked sarcastically. "No, what I need to do is tell Lindsay." Claudia stated but Nathan wasn't too sure about that one.

"See, that's not your place, regardless of what it looked like. I mean, look, if Lucas is cheating on Lindsay, then he needs to be man enough to tell her himself." Nathan explained and Claudia sighed.

"I know but I just hate him doing this. I hate who he is becoming." Claudia  joked and Nathan caught on. Claudia said to Nathan during their first fight about Lucas. It was the fight about Nathan using Claudia to get to Lucas but he actually loved her. "I think this is the part where you say that's ironic." Claudia added and Nathan nodded his head.

"And you got annoyed with me, what did you say to me?" Nathan asked and Claudia buried her face in her hands. "If I throw a stick will you fetch it?" Nathan mocked and Claudia shook her head laughing.

"Momma, daddy!" Grace and Jamie shouted in unison as they ran into the room and jumped onto the bed.

"There are my little bears." Nathan smiled as Jamie and Grace sat down on their parents knees.

"How are you this morning?" Claudia asked looking at her two children. Jamie held his stomach.

"Hungry." Jamie pouted and Claudia got an idea.

"How about daddy makes us waffles?" Claudia asked and her children beamed with happiness. "You know so you can practice walking." Claudia made up and Nathan sat up on the bed.

"I will help." Grace grinned as she stood up on the bed.

"Let's go princess." Nathan smiled as he got out of the bed and took Grace's hand. They walked out of the room. Claudia and Jamie just spoke to each other. It was another happy morning for them.

Brooke arrives at the store, immediately following by Haley and Jamie.

Brooke arrived at the store and she was immediately followed by Claudia, Grace and Jamie. Grace was so excited to see her godmother Brooke.

"Aunt Brookie!" Grace exclaimed as she hugged onto Brooke. Brooke smiled down at her.

"Mini tutor girl, how are you princess?" Brooke asked as she lifted up Grace and held her in her arms.

"I'm really sorry we're late." Claudia apologised before she bent down so she was the same height as Jamie.

"Hey, no tv for you and no ice cream until the afternoon. Keep it to one scoop, okay? The pair of you." Claudia explained as she looked at both of her children. Jamie nodded his head.

"One. Okay." Brooke said as she nodded her head, she had totally forgot.

"You forgot." Claudia sighed and Brooke shook her head as Jamie walked over to Brooke.

"It's fine! Hey handsome." Brooke smirked down at Jamie before she placed Grace down on the ground and hugged Jamie.

"Okay, um, your dad's gonna pick you up after practice. All right?" Claudia asked and her kids nodded their heads. "Come give mummy a hug." Claudia grinned and her kids ran at her. Claudia laughed. "Bye." She whispered as they let go. "Thank you Brooke." Claudia smiled before she made her way to the door.

"Bye." Brooke shouted just as Lindsay walked into the shop. Claudia felt sick to her stomach.

"Claudia, so glad you're here." Lindsay smiled out of breath.

"Oh, I've got to go, actually, but is everything okay?" Claudia asked concerned. She was worried incase she had already found out.

"Oh, everything's great, I mean, as long as this town's big enough for two Mrs. Scotts." Lindsay grinned as she showed them all her hand with a big wedding ring on her wedding finger. Claudia was shocked.

"Oh, my god." Claudia gasped as her and Brooke looked at the ring.

"Congratulations!" Claudia and Brooke exclaimed in unison before they hugged Lindsay. Claudia was still in a bit of a situation because she did not know if it was a good idea to tell Lindsay about Peyton or not.

___

Nathan and Carrie were in the kitchen, Carrie was slowly dying with a hangover. Karmas a bitch, anyone?

"Hangover?" Nathan asked.

"More like teetering on the edge of death." Carrie groaned as she passed a cup of coffee to Nathan.

"Don't you need that?" Nathan asked as Carrie sat at the kitchen counter. Nathan stood at the other side of the counter.

"I'll brew more." Carrie shrugged. "Listen, I don't remember much of last night, but I have a feeling I was less than professional." Carrie explained 'embarrassed'. She knew what she was doing.

"It was probably my fault for not cutting you off. On the bright side, at least your drunken mistake didn't ruin your basketball career." Nathan replied trying to find a sliver lining.

"Did it ruin my nanny career?" Carrie asked and Nathan sighed.

"You got to stop the flirting, Carrie, and the skinny-dipping and..." Nathan began to list and Carrie interrupted him.

"I think the severity of this hangover pretty much guarantees it'll never happen again." Carrie laughed and Nathan nodded his head.

"I hope that's true. Drink plenty of water." He replied as he handed her a bottle of water and walked away.

___

"I'm in love with her, Peyton." Lucas said to Peyton in his basketball office. Peyton was really upset. Claudia walked in on them and that just sent her over the edge.

"What is going on here?" Claudia asked harshly.

"Um, just congratulating Luke. Did you hear he's engaged?" Peyton asked unenthusiastic as she wiped away her tears.

"Yeah, I'm gonna be her matron of honor. Luke, I need to talk to you alone." Claudia replied bluntly and Peyton walked out of the office. "Something you want to tell me?" Claudia asked walking towards Lucas with her arms folded.

"Is this a trick question?" Lucas asked grinning but Claudia had a serious look on her face.

"Luke, marriage is a huge commitment. Can you honestly tell me that you're positive Lindsay's the one?" Claudia asked and Lucas sighed.

"Okay, I know where this is going. To tell you the truth, Lindsay will always be my number two... but only because you are my number one. And you always will be. Just don't tell Lindsay or Nathan or Haley." Lucas joked and Claudia wasn't having it. She wished that he had just told her the truth.

"Lucas, marriage is serious, and you better be ready to commit to Lindsay for the rest of your life." Claudia stated bluntly before she walked out of the office.

"Does that mean you're happy for me?" Lucas asked rhetorically as he looked at the empty space were Claudia once stood.

___

Mia was recording and Claudia and Peyton stood in the booth. The tension could have been sliced with a knife.

"You ready?" Peyton asked Mia and she nodded her head. Claudia was staying silent and Peyton could pick up that something was wrong. She pressed on the button and the recorder was on. "Okay, we're rolling." Peyton stated and Mia began to do her thing. "Claudia, did I do something to upset you?" Peyton asked and Claudia glared at her.

"You mean besides lying and cheating?" Claudia asked rhetorically, Peyton was taken back by it.

"Excuse me?" Peyton asked offended and shocked.

"You told me you weren't back for Lucas." Claudia stated and Peyton shook her head.

"I'm not." Peyton lied and Claudia laughed a little.

"That's the lying." Claudia stated with her arms folded over.

"Claudia." Peyton started to say but Claudia interrupted. She couldn't deal with the lying.

"You kissed him last night. I saw you. And that's the cheating. And now I have to be the matron of honour to a really sweet girl whose fiancé is hooking up with his old girlfriend behind her back." Claudia explained, she just didn't know what to do with the information. "So, yeah, I know we're friends, but, yeah, Peyton, you did something to upset me and that should upset you." Claudia continued and Peyton did not answer. "Okay, listen. You said no, Peyton, and Lindsay said yes." Claudia finished bluntly.

"I said, someday." Peyton replied, defending herself. It was all useless to Claudia, however.

"Well, Lucas fell in love in the meantime. You've got to stop trying to take that away from him." Claudia stated harshly before she walked out of the recording booth, leaving Peyton. She was just so angry right now.

___

"Scott residence." Carrie stated as she picked up the phone in the kitchen.

"Hey, Carrie. It's me. Listen, I have been making some great progress with Mia, and I was hoping to put in a few more hours, but I wasn't sure if Jamie, Grace and Nathan were waiting on me for dinner." Claudia explained on the phone. She was sitting on the floor of the recording studio.

"They're not home right now, but I'll handle dinner if they show up." Carrie lied, Nathan, Jamie and Grace were home and up the stairs. She was just trying to look better than Claudia.

"Really? That would be great. Thank you. You're a lifesaver." Claudia sighed happily.

"Just happy to help." Carrie smirked before she hung up the phone. She was happy because now she could play families with Nathan, Jamie and Grace. However, Carrie didn't like Grace because she reminded her of Claudia. "Guys, dinner's ready!" Carrie shouted happily.

Later that night, Jamie, Nathan, Carrie and Grace were all sat at the dinner table. Jamie was showing them all his drawing.

"Let me see that. Oh, it's genius. It's a work of art." Nathan exclaimed as he looked at his sons art work. Grace's was already up on the fridge.

"Look, mama. Uh, I mean, nanny Carrie." Jamie said awkwardly. Carrie smiled to herself but Grace was annoyed with Jamie. An awkward silence filled the room.

"A work of art." Carrie smiled as she looked at Jamie's drawing, changing the subject.

___

Nathan just put Jamie and Grace into bed. He walked out into the hallway where Carrie was. They began to talk.

"You're so good with them." Carrie complimented but Nathan shook his head modestly.

"No, they are good with me." Nathan replied and Carrie burst into a fit of laughter, Nathan raised an eyebrow.

"What? What's so funny?" Nathan asked confused.

"Nothing, just... you've had paint on your face for the past two hours." Carrie laughed happily.

"Why didn't you tell me? Where?" Nathan asked laughing a little.

"Here Wait a minute. Close your eyes. You actually managed to get paint on your eyelids." Carrie laughed and Nathan laughed too.

"Okay." Nathan sighed.

"Hold on. I'll get it." Carrie smiled sweetly and Nathan closed his eyes. Carrie kissed him and Nathan stood still. He didn't break off or continue the kiss.

"Nanny Carrie!" Jamie and Grace called on and Carrie walked into the room. Smirking at Nathan one last time. Nathan did not say or do anything, it was like his body was in shut down.

___

"Hey Husband." Claudia smiled as she walked into the kitchen were Nathan was standing. She could not pick up that he was extremely nervous. He felt so guilty about the kiss.

"You're home late." Nathan replied and Claudia sighed.

"Sorry my other boyfriend just wouldn't let me leave. I am just so glad he is hot." Claudia joked as she wrapped her arms around Nathan's neck. She kissed him quickly. "We were woking on Mia's album, it is sounding awesome." Claudia smiled as she unlinked her arms and stood beside him at the counter.

"Great. Just, uh, wish you were home more." Nathan admitted.

"Thanks. Me, too." Claudia smiled, it felt great that Nathan was saying that. "God, it's been a long day. I snapped at Lucas, basically called Peyton a whore. I feel pretty lousy about it." Claudia sighed as she grabbed a hair tie from the counter and tied up her hair.

"Are you gonna tell Lindsay about the kiss?" Nathan asked, he wanted to know if he should do what Claudia does.

"I don't know. I'm starting to think some things are better left secrets." Claudia explained and Carrie walked in.

"I'm going to bed now, okay?" She asked and Nathan shifted uncomfortably.

"Yeah, great. We're fine here." Claudia smiled at Carrie.

"Just let me know if you need me." Carrie smiled, directly at Nathan, before she walked away, Carrie was annoyed that Nathan was with Claudia and not her. She was flirting with Nathan right in front of Claudia. What planet was Carrie on?

"Do we have any pancakes?" Claudia asked searching through the cupboards. She found them and grinned. "Found them." She smirked.

"Are you thinking about doing your own music?" Nathan asked moving towards Claudia.

"Not just now." Claudia shrugged as she ate a bit off of her pancake. "I have Jamie and Grace. And you." Claudia added as she placed her hand on Nathan's cheek. "I need to spend time with my family." Claudia smiled.

"But you love your music." Nathan argued and Claudia shook her head.

"But I love you more." Claudia replied before she kissed Nathan. She did miss her music there was no denying that but she was happy right now. "Come on." Claudia smiled as she took Nathan's hand and walked into the room with the piano. She sat down on the stool, she began to play God Only Knows and then she started to sing. Nathan felt terrible considering that Carrie had kissed him and Claudia is the happiest she has ever been in a while.

Nathan knew he had to tell Claudia what happened but he also knew that there was a slim chance of Claudia forgiving him straight away. He didn't know what to do.
