Jimin was right: Jungkook did confront him the next day in the halls. However, it didn't turn out like he thought it would.

"Park Jimin."

Jimin carried on walking, his head low.

"Jimin, wait."

Jimin sighed and stopped, glancing behind him to see Jungkook.

"Nice dancing yesterday."

Jimin almost choked. "Th-thanks, you too."

He thought that Jungkook was going to attempt something again, not compliment his dancing ability. It turns out that saying that was all the boy wanted to do, and he said goodbye to Jimin and went to his next class.

Until the end of the day, all throughout last period, Jimin sat in some sort of haze; he had so much on his mind. The little incident with Jungkook at lunch had thrown his perception of the boy off completely, and he didn't know what to think.

He walked home by himself, still a little wary of Jungkook's actual intentions, but shocked, nevertheless.

The next few days went by without incident, and Jungkook actually began speaking to Jimin more as a friend than just some other boy he'a trying to chat up. It did confuse Jimin, but he was okay with it - he just wouldn't let it go any further than friendship. Not with the perfect relationship he had with Yoongi.

Well, Jimin thought that his relationship was perfect, until the weekend. He turned up at Yoongi's, as usual, smiling and happy with a bag of his clothes so he could stay the weekend. But, there was something off about the elder's apartment. Yoongi let him in and greeted him with a kiss, but he looked awful: his hair was a mess, he was wearing only an old torn shirt and boxers and he had a bottle in his hand. The elder looked like he hadn't slept properly in a few days.

The scent of alcohol hung in the air, and a unfamiliar cologne mixed with it. Jimin didn't like the first thought that came into his head, so he ignored it as he shut the door behind him.

"Yoongi, are you okay?"
