"So, we are 100% sure Kreese is gone for good, right?" Julianna asked her dad as she helped him clean out all of the mans stuff out of the office. Johnny groaned. "Let's hope so." He walked out of the room, leaving Julianna alone for a few seconds. "But you just said- Ugh!"

Julianna walked out of the office right after her dad. "Everybody fall in." Julianna quickly scurried to her line between Miguel and Lexi and stood up straight. "Today, we'll be learning one of the most important lessons a Cobra Kai could ever know."

"Where's Sensei Kreese?" Hawk asked. "Shouldn't we wait for the sensei emeritus before we get going?" Stingray asked before shaking his head at Johnny's glare. "Or not."

Julianna and Lexi started swaying back and forth, happy that the man was gone. "Mr. Kreese will no longer be joining us." Johnny said before looking off at Julianna and Lexi and waving a hand at them. "Stop happy dancing you two." They quickly stop, a tiny snort escaping Julianna from trying to hold in her laugh. Everyone laughed at her laugh, even Hawk, and for some reason, it made Julianna smile more.

"I made a promise when I became your sensei. To always look out for your best interests. Despite how hard this may be for all of us, he didn't have our best interests at heart. John Kreese may have founded Cobra Kai, but he no longer represents what this dojo stands for. His Cobra Kai was old and outdated. He refused to move forward, and what happens when we do that, Miss Lawrence?"

Julianna lifted her head up higher. "You get stuck like cement." She said and Johnny nodded.

"Exactly. To be a great fighter, you gotta learn to adapt. This creed on the wall... Follow it to the letter, it'll make you strong. It'll make you formidable. It'll also make you an asshole. 'Cause that's just black paint on a white wall. But life's not black and white. More often than not, it's gray. And it's in those gray areas where Johnny Lawrence's Cobra Kai sometimes shows mercy. Doesn't mean you can't be badass. It's still a requirement. But you have to learn to think, not just with your gut, or your fists, but to really use this." Johnny said, knocking on his head before turning around and grabbing a piece of wood.

"Which leads me to today's lesson." He smashed the wood through his head, startling the students. "Headbutting. Grab a partner."

Hawk unconsciously turned to Julianna since they always partner up. It was muscle memory. But his shoulders slumped and his mood dropped when he saw Lexi grab her arm, tugging her in the corner of the room to partner up.

After a few rounds of the two girls headbutting each other, Julianna felt someone grab her elbow and pull her away from Lexi. Julianna looked up to see who grabbed her and smiled at Miguel. "Hey, what's up?"

"Today, after class you and I are helping your dad get a date." Julianna looked at him dumbfounded before laughing.

Miguel's face scrunched up as Julianna put a hand to her mouth to pause her laughter. "You think that's gonna work? Miguel, I hav been trying for years. He barely knows how to work a cell phone." Julianna laughed out and Miguel shook his head. "Just... please?"

Julianna stopped laughing and huffed, running a hand through her hair. "Fine."

...

"Okay. The app is downloaded." Julianna cheered, leaning back into the couch and Miguel nodded, leaning back as well to look at the phone. "What type of women are you looking to meet?" Miguel asked, looking back and forth between the phone in Julianna's hand and Johnny.

"Super hot babes. Dumb question." Miguel instantly answered for him and Julianna sighed, not typing anything in. "What are your likes?" Julianna asked. "My likes?" Johnny asked, stiffling a laugh as he took a sip of his beer. "Yes. Likes. And you can't say hot babes."

Johnny groaned. "Well, then what am I supposed to say? Long walks on the beach?" Julianna rolled her eyes. "Okay, I like muscle cars, martial arts and Iron Eagle... And Iron Eagle II." Johnny added before realizing Julianna was not typing anything on the phone.

"Why aren't you texting this down? Computer dating was your idea." Johnny groaned and Julianna rolled her eyes as Miguel sat up. "Look, you have to take this seriously."

"It used to be simple. Find a chick in a bar. Bump into her hard, but not too hard. Pretty hard. Then you buy her a beer." Johnny said and Miguel shook his head. "No."

"Tried and true, Diaz. That's how the cavemen did it." Johnny sighed, taking another sip of beer and Julianna turned to him. "And yet, you're still single. Look, that tactic isn't too good." Johnny's jaw dropped as he pointed an accusing finger at her. "You're going to talk to me about being single? Really? Weren't you the one crying for like a week a few days ago? How'd that work out for you?"

Julianna looked at her dad in shock, she wasn't mad or upset but Miguel quickly butted in, worried about what could happen. "Jules and I can fill out the rest of this on our own. What about clothes? What are you wearing?"

"You gonna teach me about fashion now?" Johnny said with a laugh. Julianna turned to her dad and smiled. "He's not. I am." Miguel furrowed his brows and looked at her. "What's wrong with my fashion?" Julianna's eyes grew wide as she turned to face Miguel. "Nothing... nothing's wrong with it." Julianna got up and went to her dads room and to his closet.

"What are you looking for?" Miguel asked, standing beside her. "Uh... I was thinking a buttoned-up shirt and some distressed jeans but I'm pretty sure he only has these gross old jeans he's been wearing for the past 6 years."

"Hey, Jules. There's a chick on my app." Johnny screamed from the living room and Julianna quickly ran over, leaving Miguel staring at all the clothes. She flopped down onto the couch beside her dad and pointed at the phone. "Okay, so you swipe right if you like her and then we'll set up a bunch of dates."

"This is dumb. You can't find anything out about a chick from one look... Ooh, this one's hot." Johnny said, leaning forward in his seat.

"Hey, can I borrow this jacket?" Miguel screamed, walking out of the room, holding Johnny's red leather Cobra Kai jacket. "Yeah, whatever." Johnny mumbled, not looking up from his phone but Julianna ran after Miguel back into the room.

"Hey, you better not mess up that jacket! That's mine when I turn 17!"

...

Julianna was watching TV in the living room when she heard someone trying to open the front door. She knew who it was. Her dad had just barely left so it wasn't him and Lexi was out with Demetri, leaving one more person it could be. "Would you look at that? I learned how to lock a door!" Julianna sarcastically cheered, putting a handful of popcorn in her mouth. She heard a sigh from the other side of the door. "Come on, Jules. Let me in."

"No!"

"Come on! Let's talk!" Hawk groaned from the other side of the door. It was quiet for a few seconds before Julianna heard a ton of noise outside her door. "What are you doing?"

"I'm looking for a key. You gotta have one under the door mat or- AHA!" Hawk cheered and Julianna shot up, locking the door with the chain lock just as he started to open the door. When he tried to opened it, he pouted at the little chain and tried to push his head through. "Can you remove the chain?"

"Nope." Julianna said as she tried to keep her eyes off of him even though she already saw his falling hair. He didn't have his mohawk in. Julianna slid down the down and sat down against it, resting her head on the door as Hawk did the same on the other side. "I just wanted to talk to you..." Hawk mumbled as Julianna looked down at her hands. "I'm listening."

"I'm sorry about what I said, you know? I didn't mean to bring her up and I definitely didn't want to hurt you. You know that right?" Hawk mumbled but she heard him. "I know. But it still hurts." Julianna whispered as she heard a thump on the door from Hawk leaning his head against it.

Julianna didn't notice but her hand was peaking out the door a little bit. Hawk noticed and all he wanted to do was grab her hand, to hold her again, to be with her, to tell her how much he loves her but instead, he looked away from her hand and sighed. "I know. I just... wanted to let you know."

The two sat in silence until Hawk cleared his throat and got off the wall. "Your dad might be home soon. I should... I should go."

Julianna nodded. "Bye." She muttered under her breath and Hawk heard, turning around to face the door and smiling a bit. "Bye Sunshine."
