FLASHBACK CONTINUES(REHAAN'S POV)

"What do u know about Sona?" I asked Tanya without wasting any time.

"Calm down Rehaan, just order something first" she chipped

"I have no interest in having a coffee with u Tanya, come to the point" 

"I feel so bad for u. U care for her so much and she left u for her career" tanya made a pleading look. I believe Sona, she can never do that to me.

"Why would I believe u?"

"Then dont, but right now u have no other option" she said

"Any proofs?" I asked

"See Rehaan, go to her house and find out yourself. She had told u that she has gone for a vacation but actually she has gone to Vishakhapatnam in boarding school for higher secondary and wont be coming back in these 2 years. She wants to be away from her friends and specially u."

"Thats not true"

"She doesn't care about u. I have told u before as well that how selfish she is regarding her personal matters. I mean like she could have gone but after informing u. She didn't do that cz u r not a very important person in her life"

"Fuck off Tanya, u r making up stories"

"May b Uncle and Aunty can make u believe"

I got up from my seat and immediately left for Sona's house unknowing to the fact that Tanya had made another story there.

"Ur parents told me that whatever Tanya said was right and I should not ask them further. I didn't know that Tanya had made another story in front of them. I should have asked them what Tanya told me but I didn't bcz I felt my world around me turned blur" I blurted out everything to Sona

"That bitch Tanya, she was so jealous of our friendship. I feel like killing her right now. U know when I asked mom if they had informed u, they told me that Tanya had told u everything. When I confronted her, she told me everything and that u hate me now. I had no courage to face u then" Sona was trying hard to control her tears..

"I am sorry Rehaan for every pain I have given u and not stand by u whenever u needed me"

"I m sorry too.." we both shared the best hug after 9 years. I missed her so badly all these years.

knock knock...

"Rehaan Sona..." Dev was calling. I went up and opened the lock

DEV'S POV

As soon as I entered, I saw their fluffy and red eyes but a smile on their lips.

"Will u guys care to explain me whats the matter?" I asked while they again smiled

"Whats the matter? Nothing. Me and my best had a small misunderstanding and its sorted now" Rehaan told and I was so happy to hear that and I instantly hugged him

"I have always told u Rehaan that u r missing some point and Sona is innocent but u never listened to me" I told him and he nodded

"Finally we all are together, now we r gonna rock the party"

"have u given the good news to Priya?" I asked

"No, she will get the surprise tomorrow" Sona said, her eyes had the lighting which have been missing from the day she came here

"Let the groom sleep now." Rehaan said and we left the room. I was about to enter my room when Sona called me

"Dev"

I turned around and she hugged me.. I felt special to her embrace. Although I have hugged many girls, but this hug made me nervous. Soon I gave in and hugged her back.

"Thanks for handling Rehaan all these years."

She broke the hug but I didn't feel like leaving her.

"He also helped  me out Sonakshi in my life." I said while she smiled. She bade me bye and went to her room. 

With all the good memories, I laid on my bed and dozed off to sleep.
