*Serene's POV*

I quickly and carefully followed Lloyd out of the forest. Because of him I was still alive.

He led me straight into the city.

That's where all went down hill.

A boy who looked just like Lloyd tackled him to the ground.

"Lloyd!" I screamed.

"I'm fine! Run Serene!"

Lloyd and the other boy began to fight.

The boy looked at me and smirked.

"Hello Serene my lovely. Have you forgotten who you truly work for?" he said.

Lloyd shot a green orb of light at the boy while he shot a purple orb of darkness.

No.

It couldn't be.

"Y-Your Chase. Darkment created you!" I spoke calmly.

Chase nodded.

Lloyd was starting to loose.

"And once Lloyd here is out of the way I shall take you to my master lovely."

"You aren't taking her any where!" Lloyd shouted.

I wrapped water around Chase's legs and pulled but that did nothing.

Lloyd glanced over at me for a moment not knowing it would be his last.

Chase shot the dark purple orb at Lloyd once more and it struck his heart.

"Lloyd!" I screamed as he fell to the ground.

I quickly went over to him and kneeled beside him.

He wasn't breathing.

"No," I whispered as tears ran down my cheeks.

I buried my face in his chest and cried.

"Well that was easier than expected." Chase spoke.

I then heard his footsteps get closer and then a pair of arms pick me up.

Chase had killed Lloyd and he now had me right where he wanted me.
