Zack complained. For the fifth time. They were all walking. " Are you sure your place is close? Feels like we've been at it for hours!" Zack groaned. Churro looked at him.

" Yes. Positive." He said. " So Churro was it?" Zack asked. Churro nodded. " Do you have any family or friends?" Zack asked. " Why you ask?" Churro asked.

" I dunno. I thought it would be better to make small talk." Zack said. Churro sighed. " I guess it would be okay to tell you some things." Churro said. " I don't remember my family. But I do have some friends. There's this Umbreon named Eon, and a Primarina named Pip. I'm also friends with this Pikachu named Lightning. Two of these Pokémon are a part of this organization called the Starter Squad." Churro told. " Are you a part of the Starter Squad as well, Churro?" Melissa asked.

" Yes, but recently all the starters who have been technically going out on missions have disappeared. I'm looking for where they're going." Churro told. " Disappeared?" Zack asked. " Why haven't you disappeared? If you went out on a mission shouldn't you have disappeared as well? Why aren't you vanishing?!" Melissa exaggerated.

" Because, I know how to take care of myself. But I guess I shouldn't talk so soon. After all..." Churro said, and as soon as his voice hit all it stopped suddenly. His eyes looked pained. Milo felt bad for the creature. Something must have happened to a really great starter from that squad.

" Pip disappeared as well." He said. " What?!" All three exclaimed, surprised. Heck even the author was surprised at this. " What?! You say my favorite OC is missing?!" They exclaim from the sky as all four Pokémon could hear the sky make a weird sound. An oof could be heard.

" Dang charger!" The author cursed, or so they say. " Uh.... are you okay up there?" Melissa asked, not sure how to handle what the heck just happened to the sky. " Yeah. Just tripped." The author told pathetically while Zack laughed. " Sorry. It's just you said," he began then he snickered. " That you tripped over your own charger!" The author then shut up from there.

" Anyways, What I was explaining before the klutz of an author tripped was that Pip disappeared as well. The only hint he was gone was the fact that his hood was left on the ground." Churro said.

" Your friend? Gone like that?! That's horrible!" Milo exclaimed. " Worst news is, recently someone from the Starter Squad got poisoned and died." Churro said with sorrow as he reminisced about the good hearted female Snivy friend of his who just passed away.

" What was their name?" Milo asked. " Hestia." Churro replies. " Was she your girlfriend?" Melissa asked. She wanted to get all the juicy stuff out of the Treecko. " Heavens no. She's a friend. I don't need a girlfriend. Especially not now!" He told them.

" What about Pip? Can you tell us about him?" Zack asked. " U-unless you're too depressed to talk about him. I-I mean it's fine if you don't." Zack said, trying to shrink now.

" It's alright. I'm not too depressed unlike Eon. He acts like it's Poke War Two, which hasn't happened." Churro said. " Wait, you only had one World War?" Milo asked. " Poke War." Churro corrected. " Okay that's a play on words." Zack said. " It's World War!" Melissa said.

" No it's not. You must be confused." Churro said. " Just accept its World War and get over yourself." Melissa said. Churro was about to say something, but she glared at him. He shut up.

Five minutes later: " Are we there yet?!" Zack groaned. " We get there when we get there!" Churro said, as if this wasn't his first time replying to someone complaining like that. " Are we there yet?!" Zack complained, being a child. " Hey!" He yells at the sky like a nutcase. " I heard that!" Zack cried out.

" No! We are not there! Stop being a wuss!" Churro said. " My legs are getting tired! I don't have four feet you know! Lucky." Zack grumbled. " What was that?!" Churro yelled at him. " I said lucky. Milo's lucky to have four feet." Zack quickly said, ducking under Milo because Churro scared the crap out of him.

" Zack. You know you are close to me right?" Milo asked, confusing only Churro. " Oh, right. Walking danger." Zack as he instantly darted our from under his friend. Then Zack laughed nervously.

Five more minutes passed. " It's too quiet. Why hasn't Murphy's law come into effect yet?" Melissa asked really confused. She also didn't like the quietness. The quietness probably meant Murphy's Law in waiting. Waiting to make someone trip, or perhaps make a rogue creature with really long claws and horrible instincts to come out and claw their bodies apart for some insane reason.

" I know. It's weird. Especially since barely anything to do with it has happened. Only that hole with that scary fish so far as I can tell." Zack said.

Churro snorted. " You're afraid of fish?" He asked, amusement in his eyes. First time ever since they met too. " They're even scarier in bags!" Zack proclaimed. Churro just let out another laugh. " That is the most ridiculous fear ever!" He exclaimed.

Then he tripped over nothing. He just tripped without slipping on anything. Not even his own feet. He got a face full of dirt. That was when the three others said, " Murphy's law." " Okay. What is up with you saying that?!" He asked. " Oh, Milo has this sort of bad luck called Murphy's law." Zack said.

" But how would you get that?" Churro asked. " Murphy's Law is my ancestor." Milo told him. " Really?"  Churro asked. " Yeah." Milo said. " It must be hard making friends with that....law over your head a lot." Churro said, sounding as if at first he was gonna say curse.

" Most people won't even get near me because of it." Milo said. " I bet most of the Pokémon in this world won't do that. I for one think that this law isn't the worst thing to keep around." Churro said. " What could be worse?!" Zack asked. " Eon singing stupid songs." Churro states simply.

" What kind of stupid songs?" Milo asked. " We're here!" Churro said suddenly as he dashed to his door, as if ignoring Milo's question.

He then turned around back to them. " This here is my house. I share it with Eon. I'm gonna knock on it. I really hope the door doesn't fall down again. Then I'll have to find Gurdurr and the two Timburr again so they can fix it...that's only if it does fall down." Churro said.

" Might want to back away Milo." Melissa told the Eevee. Milo did, which ended up resulting in him tripping over Zack somehow.

Churro knocked on the door. It then fell over. " Shi-" Churro said before his body fell over as the door fell on him. " Ow." He grunted. " Maybe I should have backed up more." Milo said. " That's going to leave a mark." Zack said, his paws hiding his eyes.

" I wish there was a way I could have recorded that." Melissa said. " Help!" Churro wailed loudly. Suddenly, a black creature with red eyes and yellow rings all over his body sprung out and moved the door aside. " Did you find Pip?!" The black creature questioned Churro. Churro shook his head.

" Sorry, Eon. Dead trail once more." Churro sighed, fingering his head on frustration. " Who are these guys?" Eon asked all of a sudden. It wasn't every day these two got visitors are weird as these. " Oh...yeah. These guys are Milo, Melissa, and Zack. I'm surprised I even remembered their names." Churro said.

" Do they know who I am?" Eon asked. " Yeah. But they don't know anything about Pokémon. What a shame." Churro said. " Well, I'm Eon. I'm an Umbreon. The evolution of this guy over here. Or are you a girl? Are you a boy or are you a girl? I can't tell." Eon rambled, pointing his skinny paws at Milo.

" That's Milo." Churro said. " Then which is the girl?" Eon asked as if that was the worlds most interesting question ever. " I am. Duh." Melissa said. " A Vulpix Huh? You look kinda like her!" Eon said. " Like Who now?!" Melissa said. " Someone I know." Eon says.

" But who exactly?" Zack asked. " Ah a Cyndaquil." Eon said as he patted Zack on his head. " Hey! Stop that!" Zack said trying to fight the paw of Eon. " This one doesn't seem that strong. Or brave." Eon said. " W-what! I'm brave!" Zack said, trying to puff out his chest to prove it.

" You tried running away from a fish." Melissa pointed out. " You hid under me, which to state in a statement is basically inviting the danger." Milo said. " Ah...the Eevee." Eon said as he turned back to Milo.

" You have...a...uncertain future here." Eon suddenly said, strangely. " What is that suppose to mean?" Milo asked. " Churro. Milo is the solution to finding him." Eon said to Churro, who jumped in surprise. " I think you three should come with us. I'll teach you all you need to know to be a Pokémon. And in turn, you will find Pip." Eon said. " How about it?" Eon asked. "..." Melissa said. " Sure thing!" Milo said with a smile on his little Eevee face.
