Scarlett Jensen.

I had one of the most wonderful sleep that night. Everything was falling into pieces. My mind was clear from any unwelcomed thoughts. I woke up the next day happy and fresh. For once, I was looking forward to going to school. I went downstairs and filled my mother with yesterday's information. She was happy to hear Trevor's intentions.

After having a tummy filling breakfast, I went to my room and changed into light blue skinny jeans and an oversized dark blue sweatshirt. I tied my hair into a tight bun. I also decided to wear  silver hoops along with white sneakers. Winking at myself, I went downstairs and opened the door.

For some reason I wanted to look more presentable today. Well, it wasn't for some reason, it was for Trevor. Even though it was a fake date and probably Trevor didn't overthink like in the shower like me, I wanted to look good.

Roxie was standing right outside on her phone. As she saw me exit my home, she put down her phone and smiled at me, waving and jumping up and down.

"Morning, Beauty!" She greeted.

"Good morning, Rox" I replied.

"Someone is in a good mood today." She teased as we began to walk towards the school.

"Yesterday night was fun." I smiled, remembering the dancing scene.

"Tell me everything." She excitedly jumped.

This was the second time I was repeating everything. She jumped every now and then. She thought that the dance thing was "our moment." We reached school and greeted a very pissed Sabrina. Apparently a cheerleader spilled her iced coffee on her. Scott waved at me from a distance and I felt Roxie shift uncomfortably next to me.

Something had definitely happened between the two of them. I was surely going to figure it out. We reached our art class and since my curiosity was killing me, I decided to ask her.

"What is going on with you and Scott?" I whispered, getting a death glare from Ms. Monroe.

"Nothing, why?" She whispered back.

"I told you everything about yesterday, you need to warm up to me too," I said.

"We dated for a while until he got bored and decided to break up with me." She blandly said but I swear she was hurt within.

"Sorry," I said in an apologetic tone.

I completed my art but I could not believe that Scott was one of those guys. I always thought of him as a nice and kind-hearted guy. I wanted to hear his side of the story too, so I decided to catch up with him during recess. Art period got over and the hallway was flooded with students going to their next class.

I reached my locker and saw Trevor leaning against my locker and flirting with some girl. I rolled my eyes at that sight. I walked up to him trying not to look excited to see him.

"Move away, Lockhart," I said, shoving him in the side.

"Someone is not in a good mood today." He smirked, whispering something in the girl's ear which made her leave us alone.

"I was in a very good mood until I saw you." I sarcastically replied.

"Ouch, you hurt me, Jensen." He smiled. "Anyways, my parents want to know you better. So, you are having dinner at my place today."

"I thought they hated me," I said, sounding just like yesterday.

"They still do, but they are willing to give you a try." he winked.

"I'll be there." I winked back.

A girl with red hair and a very pale skin tone watched us like some hawk. Her eyes reflected hate and obsession. If looks could kill you, I'd be dead by now. She just gave me a look which I could not comprehend and went to talk to Trevor. I ignored and went to my second class. The rest of the classes were boring. I thought about the red-headed girl and what Trevor said.

I didn't try to think much of Trevor. We weren't dating. Sure, we may have had "our moment" but it didn't mean we owned each other now. He was allowed to flirt with girls and I still had to hold up my end of the agreement.

During recess, I told Roxie that I had some work and went to find Scott, I finally found him at the campus, sitting under a tree and drawing something.

"Hey, artist!" I happily greeted.

"Hi," he replied.

I sat next to him and went directly to the point. "Why did you dump my friend?"

He looked at him with wide eyes. "Direct much?"

"Answer the question, Scott." I firmly ask.

"None of your business."

"Tell me, please."

"Nope."

"Please."

"No no no."

"Please."

"N..."

"What if I tell you she still loves you?"

"What?!" He looked at me, the furrowed his brows while I kept a straight face. "Fine..." He finally gave up. "Meet me tomorrow where we first met at 6:00. I'll tell you."

"Done," I said, getting up and going in. "Also, that sounds very creepy. I'll have a weapon with me."

Roxie was talking with Sabrina and enjoying herself, I smiled and headed to the ladies room. I went to one of the stalls and was doing my business when two girls and came in and started whispering, they were really soft, so I couldn't hear anything.

The moment I flushed and opened the door, the whole bathroom was empty, I just shook my head and washed my hands. Something was fishy. The moment I stepped outside, a black thick liquidy substance fell on me and the same red-headed girl laughed heartily. I was trembling in disgust and anger.

Suddenly, she stopped laughing and came near me. "Stay away from Trevor, he's mine." She winked and turned her back.

"I would, but I'm not sure if he will be able too."

She jerked her body and was taken aback with what I just said. Trevor came to the scene and cleared the crowd.

"Clarissa, stop acting like a child and move on." Trevor rudely said. "You okay?" He asked turned to me.

"Yep, I'm okay. I think I'll head home." I bluntly said.

Roxie understood and followed me. I banged my locker in frustration, Roxie flinched and Trevor watched me. "Are you sure you are all right?" He asked me.

"Leave me alone, I'll see you tonight," I said.

I exited the school, still covered in black liquid. Frustration dominated my emotion. I wanted to bash Clarissa's head into a wall. What was she, five? I cannot believe she did that. I was not a victim of bully. Maybe I should call up the authorities or something. I was not going to tolerate this.

I walked home and swung the door shut so hard after Roxie came inside that the sound made her jump.

I told her that I was going upstairs for a shower and she could watch the TV if she wanted. I had to wash my hair five times to get the slim or whatever it was out of my head. But the foul smell and the stickiness still stayed. I put on my cupcake pj's and went downstairs.

Roxie was watching Legally Blonde which was an amazing movie. We decided to skip lunch and have a bowl of popcorn instead. While watching the movie, the scene still replayed in my head causing a lot of disturbance. I wasn't actually hurt but I did feel humiliated. Sure, I had no feelings for Trevor but the fact that I'll now have to face the wrath of the mean girl was something I did not want. That was so much of unnecessary drama and waste of my energy.

After feeling better, Roxie wanted to go home but I didn't want to be alone so we decided to hang at her place for some time. We were at her place doing our homework. It was the first time I had been to her house. Her mother was extremely welcoming and a polite lady. As expected, Roxie's room was painted in baby pink and the walls were covered with Jonas Brothers and One Direction posters. She had a queen sized bed and a study table to the right. Her closet was well neat and well maintained.

She also gave me some information on Clarissa. Apparently she is the cheerleading captain the is the second rich in town. Makes sense why she is after Trevor. She loves to get what she wants but when things don't go according to her, it makes her a conniving bitch who wouldn't care about anybody.

I finally decided to go home late in the evening. Mom would have already reached, so I didn't bother using the key but just knocked. But surprisingly, instead of my mom another familiar face opened the door.

"Joseph?!"
