This is for one of my friends in real life I don't see often.

I walked to my best friend's house. Fawluu was going to love this!

I jumped inside. "Surprise!" I yelled.

"Harley!" The growlithe jumped.

I giggled. I swished my six tails in excitement. "Merry Christmas Eve, Fawluu!"

Fawluu frowned. "I can't celebrate with you." He said immediately.

My heart shattered. "Why not?"

"I. . . . I can't celebrate anything but Easter." He said. "It's my religion."

"Oh. . . ." I said, "Well. . . ." I shoved the present into his hands. "Here is a totally random present that is in no way related to the time of year from me and. . . . Wait here."

A couple minutes later I came back. I gave him the cup. "Hot chocolate for you!"

Me and Fawluu had a great time together, laughing and drinking hot chocolate without a thought of religion.
