"Derek, no, i don't have the time to-"

"Trev please just listen!"

"Derek! Oliver and I planned to hang out with Emily today once i was done with, the challenges, which as you can see, I'm done with"

Derek froze and went silent for a moment at the mention of Oliver and Emily. His mind was spinning with thoughts. He didn't want Trevor to move on. That would mean he would get left behind and alone after the show! His and Krystal's kiss was simply just a kiss, they were only trying out dating someone other than their technical exs for a couple weeks!

"Trevy, i just need to talk"

"we can talk later Derek. And please... Stop calling me Trevy, just stick to Trevs or Trevor. After all, we're not dating anymore"

Derek could practically feel the sadness still etched in Trevor's voice and felt terrible.

"I'll see you later, buddy" Trevor turned around and practically ran off before Derek could speak. It was like Trevor was avoiding him all day. Just like what Derek had been doing when he started "dating" Krystal.....

Derek walked back to the production tent and sits, Krystal had been watching it all on the cameras.

"Well that sucked, you barely even tried"

"oh shut up, you didn't even go talk to Oliver!"

"I couldn't even find him! He left a note saying he'd be "busy" with something else for the moment!"

The two bickered for a bit as a contestant walked in, then back out, deciding to come back later.

Meanwhile, Oliver and Trevor met up and started their hang out. Emily had to leave them early to talk with Tess and Ally, so the two were alone for a bit.

"So you simply check up on everyone here and make sure things are running smoothly?"

"Yep! I don't want anyone to be hurt or something if i can avoid that happening."

"Woah! You're actually really nice Oliver! I don't know why i didn't try to be your friend earlier!"

That made Oliver give a genuine laugh, both men smiled as they talked. They generally enjoyed each others company. Both wondered why they hadn't tried hanging put when they weren't busy before. This was a lot of fun for both of them.

There was a small moment of silence, then Trevor spoke up.

"... So, Krystal and Derek-"

"yea, I know. It upsets me too, I still really like Krystal."

"And I still love Derek...." They went silent for a moment again.

"You know, Derek is the only person i ever kissed"

"really? That's a shocker-" "what? How? What do you mean" Oliver blushed a bit at that.

"I .. well... You're just really... attractive" he looked away, pretty embarrassed.

Trevor smiles as he blushes slightly. He didn't know Oliver found him attractive before. He didn't mind it though. Suddenly he had an idea.

"Hey Oliver.... You ever wonder what it would be like to kiss someone who wasn't Krystal?"

"Once or twice...."

"I've wondered about how it would be with someone besides Derek...."

The two looked at each other for a moment. They started to lean closer and their lips touched for a moment before they kissed slightly. Derek had found them just as that happened and he stared. He was confused and felt like his world shattered. Was this what Trevor felt? It had to be.

Derek backed away and turned, running away before they saw him. He had to tell Krystal, he didn't know why. He didn't really even like her that much as a girlfriend. This was just a fling anyway. But it was their exes that kissed after all, so why not tell her.
