***I've been wanting to write this one for a few days, and I just now got inspired to finish it LOL It's fluff and comedy from anywhere post-Season 8. Hope you enjoy it <3***

***(Jay's POV)***

I have a well-kept secret that I keep from the team. We poke fun at Kai for his obsession with his appearance, Cole for his exaggerated love for food, Nya for her workaholic attitude, Zane for his inability to understand jokes, and Lloyd for going through puberty.

Dude, I get made fun of for a lot more than that, so I try to keep what I can a secret.

And my most pressing secret right now...is that I am a secret lover of fall. Now, the guys will call me a hipster if I tell them that (I personally like hipster style), but I have a feeling Nya will enjoy my affinity for pumpkin spice.

Nya's whom I'm after right now. I'm pretty sure she's somewhere around here – scratch that, I'm definitely sure. I hear horrible singing coming from the kitchen. That's a great indication that Kelly Metzger is on the premises.

***Author's note: You want proof of Nya's less than stellar singing? Kelly Metzger helped sing this song from a My Little Pony movie most of you are probably too young to remember:

But that's beside the point. I've finally found Nya in the kitchen, and we're going to do some fun fall things together.

I quietly enter, tucking my oversized blue sweater over my fingers. I slowly creep up behind Nya, and once I get close enough, I wrap both arms around her shoulders and squeeze her tight.

She jumps, causing a peanut butter-covered spoon to fly into the air and bounce off my nose.

Nya flips around in my arms. "What the heck, Jay?!"

I smile. "What? What did I do?"

Instead of answering, she thumbs the peanut butter off my nose and licks it off her hand. "Ou thcawed me," she says, tongue coated in sticky plant butter.

I shrug. "Sorry. I didn't mean to scare you."

After licking the inside of her mouth, she gives me a skeptical look. "What's with the garb, Jay? It's ninety degrees out (***32.2 degrees Celsius***). You don't need a sweater."

"But it's the first day of fall."

"But it's hot outside."

"I don't care." I rub noses with her. "Do you like my pumpkin spice cologne? Don't worry, I made sure you weren't allergic to any of the ingredients."

She gives my sweater a sniff. "What's up with you, Walker?"

"I like to impress you by not stinking?"

"No, like...why are you so hipster-y?"

"See, I knew somebody would call me that, but the thing is, I don't care. I like hipster style."

"I didn't say it was a bad thing, Jay. I just wanted to know why you're doing the whole" – she waves her hand in the air – "you know."

"Oh. Well...I thought we should celebrate."

"Celebrate what?"

"Fall. Hey, wanna go watch scary movies on the couch?"

Her forehead furrows. "Jay, you hate scary movies."

"Not if you're around."

"You're still scared of them when I am around, Jay. The difference is, you have me to warn you where all the jump scares are and to skip past the worst scenes."

I blush. "Okay, you got me. But I'm in the mood for it now, so...?"

She shakes her head, giving me a smile that says I'm nuts. "What's the catch?"

"There is no 'catch'. Oh! And since I cleaned out my fall clothes from last year, you're welcome to have whatever you want from the box on your bed. I think there's a beanie in there that you'd absolutely – "

Nya giggles. "You're excited."

"Well, duh. I'm always excited."

"No, like, you're excited about the change in seasons."

"Why would I be excited for something stupid like that?" I roll my eyes, my cheeks flushed. "I'm going to go start the movie. Oh! And I brought caramel to melt onto our popcorn, and I signed us up for a haunted hayride on the Day of the Departed. Do you think I should wear skinny jeans that day? Or will they rip when I get frightened and try to do Spinjitzu on one of the masked staff?"

Nya sighs. "And here we go."

"We should have matching Day of the Departed costumes!" I go on, my voice rising in pitch. "Going as ghosts last year was fine – and it was totally hilarious when we scared Cole – but I'm thinking we need to up our game this year. Maybe do a medieval theme? But then, you'd never want to be the princess, so I'd be stuck wearing the dress. And – "

"I thought you were going to start the movie," Nya frowns.

" – it'd be cool if we dressed up as famous people. If Clutch Powers had a girlfriend, I guess we could go as them, but I think he's single for life. But what about – "

"I bet this'll be even worse come Christmas."

I freeze.

"Did someone say Christmas?!"
