"Jordan! You need to grow up! You're twenty-six! Not eight!" Jessica yelled, getting slightly upset with her boyfriend that lived in Indiana.

"Jess! Please listen! I'm not-- I don't--" Jordan started, but didn't know how to form that sentence correctly.

"Jordan... Just try and... Please just... Don't embarrass yourself," She whispered, caressing her boyfriend's cheek. He slowly nodded as she reached her arm out, her fingers coiled up to make a fist as she lightly knocked on the door.

A few seconds later, Jessica's whole family was standing there, hugging both individuals.

"Why, Jordan! I didn't expect to see you!" Jessica's mom exclaimed excitedly as the couple entered the house.

"Welcome to Texas!" Jess' brother spoke as Jordan looked over at his girlfriend, seeing her not speaking to anyone. She was rather... Quiet.

"Thanks," Jordan spoke with a chuckle as he made his way over to Jessica, grabbing her hand and squeezing it tightly.

Her dark eyes looked up at him as a single tear fell from her face. His eyes widened as he looked back up at the family that was all collaborating perfectly.

He drug her to the kitchen and put his hands on her shoulders, his forehead against hers.

"What's wrong?" He asked, mountains of care and compassion.

"They like you," She whispered with a small smile, her lips brushing against his as he grinned.

"And they usually hate my boyfriends..." She whispered as Jordan chuckled.

"Maybe that's a sign..." He whispered as she grinned.

"If it is, then I'd be perfectly okay with that," She whispered as they connected their lips, Jordan's arms laced around her waist and her arms wrapped around his neck.

"I'm sorry for yelling at you earlier..." She whispered as he smiled, rubbing their noses together.

"It's alright," He whispered as she pulled him in for a hug.

"I love you," She whispered into his ear, making his smile widen.

"I love you, too," He replied, placing a kiss on her cheek as she giggled.
