When they arrived at the cornucopia, it was almost dark, and the sky turned a light shade of purple and pink. It was hard to believe that they had spent almost the entire day looking for something that could help them win only to not find it afterwards, but it's what happened. Zane and Amethyst looked through the remaining supplies which was, to their disappointment, not much.

"Rope, boxes, an empty backpack, a little food, matches, and a knife?" Amethyst stated sadly.

"Food?" Zane exclaimed.

"Not much, just an apple and some crackers." Amethyst held up the bag of food, showing him. A few pieces of fruit were completely stale, like the crackers.

"Still. Better than we've had so far." Zane took the apple from the pouch and sat down, Amethyst taking the bag of crackers. She ate one of them and Zane took a bite out of his apple.

"Wow," Zane said, with a mouth full of apple, and showed her the inside of what he had just eaten. It was brown, and looked like it had been sitting out in the air for days. "what did they do to it?"

"The crackers aren't any better. Trust me, you don't want to try them." They both laughed at their disgusting food, but kept eating it anyways. It was better than nothing, which was basically what they had in the past few days, even if it was bad.

Once all the crackers were gone and Zane had swallowed his whole apple, they stood up again and used the backpack to collect what little was left there.

"This is pointless. We don't have enough," Zane said. They both sulked for a few minutes, thinking of what might help them make the trap, but they had no ideas. Then, a gift from heaven arrived. Or, in other words, a chiming silver box, falling from a parachute.

"Oh my good. Look." Amethyst pointed at the sky where the container was drifting down. When Zane noticed it, they both started running under it, holding their hands up in the sky. It fell into Amethyst's hands and she opened it as fast as she could. In was a bag of explosives, all looking like they could create a massive eruption at any moment.

Zane grabbed one from the container and examined it. "Perfect," He said. "It's perfect!"

"Just what we needed!" Amethyst exclaimed. She smiled as wide as she could, Zane mimicking her. They were so giddy with excitement they almost started laughing. Instead, they wrapped their arms around each other for a few moments, and then took their arms away. They needed something to show their thanks.

Their smiles died down after that. "We need to put this up, fast," Zane said.

"You're right," Amethyst agreed. She looked side to side. "Are you sure she won't see us setting up?"

"She better not, but even if she does, we'll figure it out. We're the ones with the explosives, anyways."

She nodded in agreement, even if she didn't fully concur. They started in the middle, and worked their way out, putting everything the way it needed to be so that their plan would work.

***

Somebody had died.

Skya had spent a long time thinking of who was left, and what would defeat them. She had knew that Fiona was along with Amethyst, but she couldn't remember the last one. She knew Fiona was fast and Amethyst was good with plants but she couldn't possibly think of any weaknesses. To her dismay, she actually hadn't acquainted with either of them, or even seen them after the cornucopia. Ever. For a career, Skya would have thought that Amethyst would have joined them, but she hadn't, which didn't help Skya with her case.

She wanted the advantage so badly, and didn't think it could possibly still be there. She hadn't given up then, but she didn't make it her number one priority. Her number one priority was to get the two remaining tributes, and win, with or without the advantage.

The only problem is, she barely had any supplies, the only thing being a bow and arrow she had stolen from the cornucopia. She barely left anything there, anyway, so she didn't think it was worth it to run back there and get so little.

But she was a lucky person.

When she ran a little more, she wound up in the perfect place. The sea shore. She didn't know it was lucky at first-she actually thought the opposite-but it was. Because she saw the piece of bread that Fiona had so carelessly eaten.

What the-

She stopped when she saw it all. She saw the container that it was placed in, but more importantly she saw the warning label. After reading it, Skya began to understand, and she picked up the bread, examining it even further. In the middle was, instead of full, hollow. And the scariest part was the coat of green the middle part had, that was still steaming.

Skya dropped it in horror.

The advantage, she thought. It was deadly.

Suddenly, she was glad she hadn't found it.

As she backed up a little from the bread, she saw something out of the corner of her eye. The hovercraft. At first, she thought it was picking up a dead body, even if she hadn't heard a canon, but then a small object was released from it. She couldn't see exactly what it was, but she knew something for sure; one of the two remaining tributes had gotten a sponsor, and now that she knew where they were, she could find them.
