That eve there was a ball thrown in my honour and also because the Princes condition had improved. The Queen offered me one of her dresses but I declined, I unpacked my bag and found a black and red  corset, clean black leather trousers which had been embroidered with a red snarling wolf head, I cleaned my leather high heeled boots and threw on my black leather coat. I rebraided the left side of my hair and pulled it up into a high ponytail and pull my fringe back over my eye. I was escorted into the hall where everyone was gathered and dressed in their finery and I knew I was out of place.

"Ah Acantha come join us," the king said taking me by the hand and leading me towards the queen they were stood in the middle. Many people glanced at us and many people had disgusted glances on their face.

"They let this heathen tend their child." I heard a man say close to us. I knew I would have to be on my guard today.

"Just ignore him," the king said, the doors suddenly opened and in walked the three musketeers but there was a young one with them and they introduced themselves finally.

"Aramis," one said gingerly taking my hand and kissing it.

"Athos," another said and just bowed.

"Porthos," he said tipping his hat to me.

"D'artgnan," the final one said and bowed.

"Nice to meet you gentlemen," I smiled and nodded at them all.

"How is the little one?" Aramis asked.

"He has improved very much so," the king said. "If Acantha wouldn't have shown up when she did I think he would have died." The rest of the night everyone seemed to loosen up around me but I got sneered at every now and then. Aramis stayed with me most of the night asking me about my ways of healing and the beliefs of my people, I answered the best I could but I was the last of my people. Everyone else has been hunted and killed.

We sat on a stone bench outside, my gaze landed on the moon it was full and then I looked at the clock tower in the square it was midnight, I panicked and began to search my person for my syringe but it was in my room.

"What have you lost?" He asked.

"Nothing," I answered. "Aramis I'm tired I must go." I told hm.

"Please Acantha don't go please stay," he began.

"I can't." I said feeling my eyes beginning to glow brighter. I ran into the hall and had to push people out of my way, some shrieked and scolded me, I ran into the palace and just about reached the hall when it began. "No!" I cried and ran a bit faster, I fell through the door, the transition threw me up against the wall and I fought it to peel myself off and reach for the syringe laying on the chest of draws but I knocked it and it fell off and smashed.
