I don't write a lot getting together fics so here's two dudes being gay and getting together because one got called out

The team was on a day out in Gotham. They'd found a sweet little cafe that didn't have that many people and decided to stay there for lunch. They sat outside since it was a rare warm day in Gotham which was how Wally ended up smooth-talking a girl who was walking by. Robin sighed as he watched Wally flirt with yet another person who wasn't him. They'd been friends for years but Robin wanted more. He obviously couldn't say this to the speedster. He'd never seen him flirt with a guy, only girls. Bringing it up would only cause problems that neither of them wanted. So he'd just have to admire from afar. "What're you doing?" M'gann asked. Robin jumped out of his skin, making his sunglasses crooked, and quickly composed himself.

"Nothing. Well, I'm doing something. Why do people say nothing? You're always doing something like breathing," he rambled. She frowned at him and glanced over to where he'd been looking.

"Oh, he's flirting again," she stated.

"Yep," he said, popping the p. He folded his arms and sank back into his chair. She looked back at him with a sympathetic look.

"Why don't you just tell him you like him? No offense but it's very obvious." She made it sound so simple but it wasn't.

"Things don't work like that," he answered with a frown. She didn't seem to catch on as to what he was alluding to. "I don't even know if he's into guys."

"You won't know until you ask." He hummed in response, his eyes occasionally darting back to Wally and the girl. M'gann noticed this and shrugged, shouting for Wally to come back to the table. Inadvertently, she'd gained the attention of the other team members who thought she was about to announce something. Why else would she be so eager for the speedster to come back? "M'gann what're you doing?" he inquired as Wally said goodbye to the girl. Fortunately for Robin, he didn't get her number on account of not talking to her long enough. She didn't answer in time before Wally had returned to his seat. "Something up M'gann?" Wally asked, noting Robin's growing blush.

"No-" Robin began.

"Yes, there is," M'gann corrected. His eyes went wide with panic, thankfully covered by his since straightened sunglasses, and sat straight up.

"Uh okay? What is it?" Wally asked. He noted Robin's tense posture and gave him a concerned look when Robin turned his head away so they couldn't catch eyes. It wasn't like him which grew his concern. "Robin told me he really likes you," she stated.

The team's mouths gaped open at the news whilst Robin somehow got even tenser. By the bright blush that was forming on the teen's face, Wally guessed this was true. The girl they were stood with decided this would be a great time to leave and silently walked away. "You like me, as in you wanna date me?" Wally clarified. M'gann nodded to confirm whilst Robin stuttered and struggled to come up with an answer.

"Erm well, yes, I err, do you hear that? I think Bats is calling me. Better go," he said, stumbling over his feet as he stood up and tucked in his chair. He got out his wallet and put down a one hundred dollar bill. "Lunch on me. I'll err see you around," he said, awkwardly finger gunning at them before sprinting in the other direction.

When M'gann tried to run after him, Wally grabbed her arm and shook his head. "I don't think that's a good idea," he said. She quirked an eyebrow at him. She couldn't see what was so bad about what she did.

"In the future, maybe don't out someone like that," Artemis added. They knew they couldn't scold her for something she wouldn't really get and Robin probably knew that too, deciding to run off instead of shouting at her for saying something about his feelings. "But he looked like he wanted to tell you," she argued, not quite understanding.

"He might have wanted to tell me but that doesn't mean he was ready to. Leave this one to me, alright?" he explained. She nodded and watched him chase after the teen.

"Can't we have one day out where nothing goes wrong?" Kaldur complained.

"Meh, Rob paid for the food already so it could've been worse," Artemis replied.

Robin wasn't sure where he was running to but he soon figured that he'd hide out at an empty park. He was silently thankful when he spotted one close by. Embarrassed tears settled on his still bright red cheeks as he pushed open the creaky gate and went inside. He walked over to a swing and sat down, lightly rocking back and forth on it. His hands gripped the cold chains tightly as he tried to shake the awful twisting in his stomach. He found himself dreading the next time he'd see the team. Robin hated that feeling. The team was his best friends yet here he was wishing they'd never meet again. He couldn't really blame M'gann for it either because it wasn't like she was doing it in a mean spirited way. She was just trying to help. He heard the gate creak open and speedily wiped away his tears. The person who'd entered sat beside him on the swings. He glanced up to see who it was and found it to be Wally. "Oh. Hi," he greeted softly.

"Hey," Wally replied.

"If you've come to say we can't be friends, can we do it somewhere where I'll never go? Don't fancy the reminder every time I pass this place," he grimly joked.

"Actually, I came to confess something. I like you too."

Dick near fell off his swing at the confession. "B-but the girls?" he spluttered. He could hardly comprehend that Wally actually shared his admiration.

"I was trying to make you jealous. If I saw you get jealous then I'd know you liked me. Just forgot how terrible you are at expressing yourself," Wally explained. His shoulders were hunched up shyly at finally admitting how he really felt about the younger.

"Well that does explain why you're so jealous of Babs," Dick teased, finally getting rid of his embarrassed tears.

"I'm not jealous of Babs," he scoffed.

"One time she hugged me and afterward you said if she squeezed too hard you'd kick her ass." Wally's face lit up red and he looked away with an awkward chuckle. The holes in his plot were certainly showing. Seeing how embarrassed he was, Dick sought to relieve some of it. "I thought it was cute," he added under his breath but Wally heard it loud and clear. He perked up upon hearing it and laughed to himself.

"That's good."

"God we're so bad at this huh?" Dick said, leaning back dramatically. "Couples are just friends who kiss and say their together, right?"

"I think they do a lot more than kissing," Wally replied with a wink. He got a sharp nudge from the other for it but that didn't take away the victory of seeing him blush.

"Shut up," Dick ordered through a laugh. "I'm being serious."

"Yeah, I know."

There was some silence before Wally thought of the right way to say what he thought. "We like each other so we may as well date one another. It's not like the team can call us out on it since M'gann and Connor are together," he stated.

"But heroes dating heroes, isn't that against some sort of rules?"

"Again M'gann and Connor are together. Plus, heroes and heroes dating is great! You don't have to make up some hair-brained excuse for missing a date," Wally reasoned. Dick smiled at him, slipping off his sunglasses. The ginger loved those eyes. The way they sparkled like no other. He could look at them for hours on end. "I guess there's nothing stopping us then?"

"There might be one thing," Wally admitted.

"Like what?" Dick asked worriedly.

"Mr Daddybats himself." Dick tutted and rolled his eyes. He put both hands on the chain closest to Wally and rested his face on one of them.

"I think I can handle him. He'll need some guilt-tripping but he'll learn to deal with us being together." Wally leaned in closer, copying Dick's position with a smirk.

"Aren't you a little trickster?"

Their eyes darted down to each other's lips after noticing how close they were before darting back up. "You know, you could say that we've been on dates before," Dick proposed. "I would say like five dates ever since your flirting stepped up."

"Is there something you're getting at?"

"Well, couples kiss on the first date sometimes so we've missed out on that."

"Is this your way of saying you wanna kiss me? Dickie, you're adorable," Wally responded, his smirk intensifying. The blush on the other's face darkening was answer enough. He closed the gap in between them, pressing their lips together. Dick melted into the kiss and his eyes fluttered closed. He felt the ginger grin against his lips as they deepened the kiss before breaking apart. They were both bright red but grinning all the same. "Does this mean we're boyfriend and boyfriend now?" Dick asked.

"I'm for it if you are."

"If we do more things like that then I'm all in." They laughed together, momentarily forgetting the world around them. "We should go back to the team," he added, standing up. Wally stood up with him and caught one of his hands. Now that they were together, he wasn't going to let any chance to show they were a couple go to waste. God knows he's been wanting to do it for a while. He relished in the dusting of pink he was causing on Dick's face. "Or we could bunk off and do something else?" Wally suggested mischievously.

"Minecraft at my place?" Dick offered.

"You know me so well."
