Tried to have some fun with this one so sorry if any characters are ooc

Also, I'll be using TT Roy but he's the age he's in YJ which doesn't make a lick of sense but just go with it okay?

"I want everyone to know that I hate every single second of this," Robin complained. His leg was currently in a cast, resting on the table with a pillow beneath it. Beside him were crutches which were the only way he was able to stand up. He couldn't believe that his leg was broken. He'd be out of the game for ages and physio would be a mess. The Titans only had sympathy for their leader. He was going to be bored every day and he'd no doubtedly work himself silly trying to do as much work as he could to make up for the lack of his presence on the street. "We guessed," Beast Boy responded.

"But we will take care of you the entire time to make it easier," Starfire added. She tried to look on the bright side of life but Robin just pouted. He was a fidgety kid at heart and sitting in front of a TV screen all day every day wasn't going to keep him occupied all day. He already craved practicing some kicks and punching the hell out of a punching bag. "Don't worry about it, I called my old team to help since you guys still have a city to take care of," he responded.

"We don't want or need their help," Cyborg argued. The two teams got on like oil and water. The thought of them being the people Robin wanted to depend on was infuriating. Robin picked up on this the last time the two groups met but that didn't stop him from calling Young Justice. They would only worry about him and eventually turn up at the Tower at some point uninvited. "Well I want to see my other friends again so you're just gonna have to put up with them, and that goes for all of you," he replied. Just because his leg was broken didn't mean he wouldn't find some way to get them back for any ill behaviour. He'd given the same threat to the other team as well, hoping they wouldn't start something either. They probably would though. That would just be his luck.

Upon finding out about the other team, Young Justice just so happened to land on their roof. Whilst he still had time, he gave his team a stern look and tried to make himself look as intimidating as possible even though they could easily trap him on the couch by breaking his crutches. "Don't make me regret trusting you to be civil," he cautioned. They nodded but didn't seem like they were going to keep it calm. He just hoped they could last long enough for him to see his friends without the drama. "Fine," Beast Boy whined.

A door slid open behind them to reveal Young Justice. In an instant, Kid Flash was by his side with the rest close behind him. "Sorry about your leg, what happened?" he asked, frowning at the thick white cast covering his leg from shin to foot.

"Beast Boy kinda broke it," Robin answered. He tried his best not to shoot the younger a glare for the situation he'd put him in. Maybe it would be a good learning experience. However, his old team couldn't hold back their glares. "It was an accident before you go accusing him of anything," he quickly added. "He was swinging on some old beams and they fell down. I just so happened to be under it at the time."

"I wish I was there, your leg would've been fine if I had," Kid Flash said candidly. He received a pointed look from the youngest of the two teams.

"Yeah, you're gonna be out the game for at least six weeks," Artemis added. Starfire stepped in quickly after she made that statement.

"Actually, friend Raven can half that time through her magic," she announced. Miss Martian couldn't help but notice an aura of smugness come from the half-demon. He wouldn't need her powers if Beast Boy had been more careful. This would've never happened if he stayed on their team. They were clearly the superior team. "Don't you have some villain with a stupid gimmick to run after?" Artemis snapped, picking up on their smugness.

"Oh like your villains are any better," Cyborg responded. All villains had a gimmick, it just so happened theirs were a little more obscure.

"Yeah since ours are actual threats," she replied.

The atmosphere turned tense as Robin sat in the middle of two jealous teams. They lasted longer than he suspected so that was something. "Well, as much fun as that was, the Titans have a city to look after and I'm sure they should be going right about now," Robin announced, heavily hinting that they should leave. They were hesitant at first, unwilling to leave their leader alone with the other team, but eventually left. "You guys are so petty it's actually astounding," he complained once the Titans had left. He picked up his crutches and limped his way to the kitchen. "We're not petty at all, they're the ones who are petty," Artemis argued. He gave her a deadpan look as he poured himself a drink.

"If that's what helps you sleep at night," he replied. He picked up the glass then realized something. Walking with the glass would be near impossible thanks to his crutches. "I didn't think this through," he muttered. Aqualad stepped in to take his glass whilst he sat down.

"We are the better team though," Superboy commented. Robin didn't reply, just drank his water quietly.

"Robin?" Kid Flash asked. Said hero hummed in recognition. "We are the better team right?"

"In your own ways."

A flurry of offended noises came from his old teammates. How could he even suggest they weren't the best team? He was supposed to be a wonder child so he must know that they're the best team. "What do you mean 'in your own ways?' We're objectively better," Artemis argued. He wished he'd never opened his mouth as he thought of a way out of this. The Titans would be back any minute now so that was something to look forward too. When they came in, he could deflect the argument onto them. "I have to agree with Artemis," Aqualad admitted. Robin gave him a small glare for pitching in on the argument. He was supposed to be the mature one of the group. "I mean, you're neither the best or the worst. You're my first team and that should be enough," he reasoned.

"First doesn't always mean good! First kisses are great and all but they suck compared to your second or third," Kid Flash countered.

"Hey, I was your first kiss," Artemis responded.

"Not now, we're dealing with this issue," he said. She gave him an angry hum in response, preparing to ice him out later on.

"I didn't say you weren't a good team!" Robin announced. They were putting words in his mouth and he wasn't going to take that lying down. Admittedly, taking it in a sitting down with his leg elevated wasn't too far from lying down but nonetheless, he wasn't going to take it. "But you also didn't say we were the best either," Superboy pointed out.

"Because you're not but that doesn't mean you guys weren't great!" They frowned, upset with the admission. He sat back against the couch and drank his water nervously. And here he thought having old friends over was a good idea. He should've faced the boredom. At least that wouldn't have given him a stress-induced headache.

As they iced Robin out, the Titans returned home. He breathed a sigh of relief and greeted them. Instead of returning the greeting, they asked him the dreaded question. "We're the best team, right? Since we actually respect you and everything," Beast Boy inquired.

"We respect him!" Miss Martian shouted.

"Then why didn't you make him your leader?" Robin groaned when he brought up the age-old argument. Even he was getting sick of it and he'd been salty about it for years.

"He was thirteen! It would be like making you the leader," Aqualad defended. The Titans shared a knowing glance.

"Fair point but-"

"There are no buts about it. We're the better team since we would've never broken his leg," Kid Flash interrupted.

"I crave death," Robin muttered, slumping against the couch. They didn't hear him however and continued to argue at the top of their lungs. They were all just as stubborn as the others were. Since they were so busy fighting, Robin decided to slip away and call his back up. They were his last hope at this rate.

An hour or so must've passed until Starfire noticed something. A black tuft of hair was no longer peaking out from over the couch. That meant that Robin was no longer on the couch. She raised an eyebrow and went for a closer look in case he'd decided to sit in an unconventional place. He wasn't anywhere to be seen. "Where did Robin go?" she announced. The fighting ceased and they turned around to face her. She gestured to the spot where the teen was once sat. "I didn't see him leave," she continued. "Did you?" They shook their heads, Young Justice feeling a hint of guilt. They'd been brought in to keep Robin company and all they did was force him out the room. "We might've been a little too loud," Miss Martian suggested, remembering that Robin had terrible headaches when people shouted for too long.

"That would explain the nervous aura I felt. I just thought one of you realized you were wrong," Raven replied.

"Shut it," Artemis snapped. "Where does he normally go to chill out?"

"The roof. He likes to look at the sky," Cyborg answered. "We'll go get him."

"We'll come too, thank you very much."

The two teams walked up to the roof and found their bird. Only, he wasn't alone. A certain ginger was sitting beside him. "Roy?" Kid Flash muttered. The pair hadn't taken notice of them yet, too engrossed in their conversation. They were sat on the edge of the roof, their legs dangling over the side, without a care in the world. Robin excitedly rambled about a recent mission he had whilst his companion tried to fit in as many jokes about it as he could. He managed to make Robin cackle a few times. The Boy Wonder looked so happy and he was. Roy wasn't going to start a debate over who's team was better. He'd just listen and playfully make fun of him. It was a great change of pace. "We should leave them to it," Aqualad suggested.

"Couldn't agree more," Cyborg replied. They left quietly, deciding not to disturb their conversation.

"We must be the best team then," Raven muttered just loud enough for the other team to catch it. They sent a tsunami of glares towards her.

"How so?" Kid Flash asked through gritted teeth.

"Roy is part of Teen Titans East. Since that's a faction of our team that means he's with us," she explained. "So we're the best team."

"I will fucking destroy your bloodline!" Artemis yelled.

If I were to do a series of stories, would you guys prefer them in a separate book or would you like them to be mixed in around here? I've had an idea based on the Gotham by Gaslight movie and it would be better as a series instead of all being squished into one chapter. Let me know which you'd guys prefer

Also, I started a book ages ago about Dick Grayson becoming de-aged so would you guys rather I continue that here or in that book? Again let me know and I'll see you in the next one
