The next day at school I was looking for Matrix and Emo to ask them about what happened at the smoothie shop. I found them talking by Matrix's locker. 

I walked up to them and they immediately stopped talking. "Hey Cyno," Matrix said. "Hey. So about yesterday-" I said. "What about yesterday?" Matrix asked a bit scared looking. "I'm just wondering what happened. Why did you start counting and run to the bathroom?" I said. Emo pushed me back. "I think this conversation has ended. C'mon sweetie let's go chat somewhere else. See ya later Cyno," Emo said to Matrix then me. The two walked away.

The rest of the day Matrix and I didn't interact and I decided not to follow him to his band practice and just went home.

That night I was up late thinking about Matrix and Emo. They were acting weird. I decided to get some fresh air and went out for a late night walk on the beach without any shoes on. Then, I heard two voices singing. "Though i'm far away across the sea. This moon keeps haunting me. As I spread my wings and soar above. It's you you're guiding me," One voice sang.

I walked towards the voices and saw Matrix and Emo singing on a rock while looking at the full moon. I just stood there and listened as they sang. Eventually after they finished singing I went back home. They had very hypnotic voices.
