Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon...

He ran in the hospital and found Akash at the reception. Silently he walked him to the floor where Devyani was admitted and Arnav followed quietly with his heart cutting into pieces. Upon that Khushi wasn't answering his calls building up the frustration in him couple with worry and anger. He has sent a message to Aman to track Khushi's location as soon as possible and text him back.

Anjali sighed in relief seeing him here yet she didn't approach him and Arnav swallowed as she turned her head away from him upset. She hasn't forgotten how he shut the door on their faces just the day before.

"How is Nani?" He asked concerned.

"The same way any old woman and upon that a grandmother would be, when her own grandson leave without looking back. When he is destroying the peace of his family by digging the old graves!" It was Manohar.

Manorama placed her hand on his arm shaking her head to stay quiet at least in this critical situation to which he nodded while Arnav has already got the idea of how angry his Mama ji were and he was rightly so.

Averting his eyes, he gathered himself.

"Go and see her. She is calling for you anyways!" Anjali said sternly."As if no one matters to her but you!" She croaked barely on the edge of breaking down. Payal pressed her hand to give her support while Arnav silently walked to Anjali and kissed her on her forehead making her whimper before he went in to see his Nani.

Akash's phone beeped with a message seeing which he walked out of the scene panicked without anyone noticing.

"Khushi, drink this water and calm down!" Nidhi tried to get to her for the umpteenth time but she won't listen. She was crying continuously and was begging her to abort her child. She didn't seem normal to her. At all.

"Why don't you listen to me doctor?" Khushi growled blinking back the tears.

"I don't want this baby. I am asking you to get me rid of it but you are offering me water and nothing else. Give me a date, an appointment whenever you could do it and I would be here on that day. I promise!" She said frantically grabbing her hands.

"For that we have to have a written consent from not only a mother but a father as well Mrs.Raizada with a valid reason. Consent will need signature of both you and ASR. Otherwise its illegal." Nidhi resorted to her professional attitude and told her the steps of the procedure clearly.

Khushi's heart stopped.

"You don't want it but maybe ASR does." Nidhi added."In that case, no court or law would allow you to abort it." She explained to her calmly and Khushi's head hung low with tears dropping to her lap.

"Isn't there any other way?" She pleaded raising her head and Nidhi felt really bad for her.

"Unfortunately, no." Nidhi said quietly with a shake of her head.

"Why a man's consent is needed for a woman always?" Khushi exclaimed with a sob.

"Gather yourself if not for you than for the life inside you at least." She said softly to which Khushi stood up wiping her tears.

"I know I am no one to interfere in your personal matters Khushi but a father has the right to know.ASR has the right to know."

"Didn't I tell you that he would kill it if he got to know!" Khushi gritted sternly.

"Get me that written on the paper with his signature. Only then I will believe he don't want the baby!" Nidhi's tone was more firm than hers.

Khushi exhaled frustrated.

"You aren't the only doctor in this city are you? Anyways, I have learnt a very good lesson from my very husband Arnav Singh Raizada. K paisa kuch bhi kar sakta hai. Jis k pass paisa hai, uss k pass taqat hai aur taqat se insan kuch bhi hasil kar sakta hai. Kuch bhi!(That whoever has the money, has the power and with that authority, a man can get anything. Anything!)" Khushi turned to leave giving her a pointed look.

"Your marriage is already going through an edge as I can sense it. Don't add more complications into it by doing this without him knowing. Baad mai, khud ko hi koso gi Khushi. Kuch log iss Khushi k liye taraste hain!(After that, you will blame yourself only Khushi. Don't forget that a few poeple out there pine for such happiness!)"

Khushi stopped at the door hearing her.

"I have forgotten what is it like to be happy anyways so let it be that way. Let me pine, let me graze my heart with some more pain, some more hurt." Khushi was blunt."That's what he wants. That's what he would get. It might quench his thirst for revenge. It might..It might give him some relief that yes, I am suffering and eventually it will hurt my mother whom he hates so.. much." A lone tear rolled down her cheek.

Nidhi sensed that she has already made her mind.

"Is this your final decision?" She asked.

"Yes!"Khushi mumbled.

"Then I guess I did right." She sighed.

"You did what?" Khushi asked horrified and just then the door behind her opened making Khushi's breath hitch in her throat. She turned with her heart galloping in fear and fell on the person with relief when she found not Arnav but Akash standing at the door with a concerned look on his face.

Akash hugged her caressing her hairs and looked over her head to mouth a thank you to Nidhi for informing him.

"Jiju, I am pregnant." Khushi sobbed clutching on to him.Akash blinked back the tears when she said.

"Help me please. Help me get rid of it before he gets to know. He will destroy us both if he did. Jiju, please?"

Arnav came out of the room with tears in his eyes. Even though Devyani's eyes lit up seeing him but she refused to talk to him. She refused to give him a second glance. He has kissed her hand then her head before walking out of the room.

His phone rang indicating an new message.

Khushi Mam is in the City Hospital

"She is here?" He frowned looking at the benches his family was sitting. Payal, Mama, Mami and Di were there but Khushi wasn't.

"Di, Khushi came here? Where is she?" Arnav went up to his Di to confirm.

"You came here alone. Anyways, how can she come here without your permission?" She didn't miss the chance to taunt him.

As far as he knew Khushi ran out of his office even before he got to know about Nani's heart attack.

He frowned. If Khushi was in the same hospital and she didn't know about Nani's health then what was she here for? And why?

Is she ill?

As soon as the thought stuck him he rushed out of the corridor to look for her only to halt when he saw her entering the ICU corridor with Akash supporting her with her eyes frantic with concern.

"Jiju, tell me that Nani is fine?" Khushi was asking questions after questions and Akash answered calmly guiltily accepting in his heart that he had to use Nani's condition to distract Khushi from doing something drastic.

"She is fine but same can't be said about you!" Arnav's stern voice took her breath away. Due to fear of facing him after she has a big secret hidden in her heart, in her womb. She gulped.

"This is hospital. At least give some rest to your idea of revenge here Bhai!" Akash spoke when he felt Khushi shaking as his one arm was around her shoulder to help her walk carefully in her hysteric condition.

Arnav saw red with the way Akash taunted him and the next thing Khushi knew she was snatched brutally from Akash's hand causing her to fall on to the hard chest of her namesake husband with a death grip of his arm on her waist that try as she might neither could she get out nor protest but stand helplessly in his arms like a caged bird.

"You are no one to advice me of how should I behave Akash. I told you that clearly when I left RM breaking my ties with you. So it will be better that you and your wife stay away from me and my wife."

Akash reacted immediately seeing the way his Bhai was holding Khushi and that too in this condition. He faced his brother sternly and looking into his eyes removed his grip from Khushi that she stepped back with torn expressions on her face and rushed to the family members while the brothers stood giving each other heating stares until Akash broke the stubbornness as he knew Arnav Singh Raizada won't back off.

He walked to the family and Arnav was about to walk out to get his anger to normal when he saw Shyam walking to him along with his Dadi. He turned on his heels aiming towards his wife who was talking to his Di most probably asking about Nani. Anjali was consoling her that Nani was fine now but Khushi won't stop worrying.

"Get up. We are going home!" Arnav ordered as soon as he approached them.

"Why Arnav? Won't you meet your Dadi?" Subhadra's voice made him turn to which Khushi heaved a sigh of relief gripping Anjali's hand tightly. She blinked her eyes at her asking her to be calm.

Payal was standing on Anjali's side not approaching Khushi as she didn't want to add to her sister's problems being emotional.

Anjali smiled sadly seeing Shyam that she rushed to hug him asking for his support. Arnav curled his hands into a fist seeing the man consoling his(Arnav) sister with disinterest.

Arnav touched his Dadi's feet taking her blessing and clenched his jaws when he caught Shyam eyeing someone behind him keenly. He didn't have to turn to guess to whom his gaze was directed to.

"Stop your gaze from wandering around Shyam or else I would kill you!" Arnav said blatantly building up the tension in the atmosphere.

Shyam looked away embarrassed pretending to look at the wall while Anjali turned to Arnav frowning.

"There is misinterception in your conclusions Arnav. Don't judge others without knowing the whole story." Anjali said.

Arnav has already stepped in front of Khushi hindering Shyam to lay his dirty eyes on her.

"I may have let him back in your life Di but don't expect me to trust him the same way again because he don't deserve it. In fact he don't deserve you and your pure love either."

In this matter all of the family members except Subhadra and Anjali agreed with him so they kept quiet.

"The same way you don't deserve Khushi and her pure love either." Anjali hit him back in the most blunt way possible.

"There is the difference of sky and earth between your situation with this man and mine situation with Khushi, Di. However me and Khushi might be but we never betrayed each other. We have been open about everything to each other. Whether it was love or hate. But your so called husband is everything but loyal to you. Keep that in mind. Open your eyes before something bad happens."

Anjali turned her face away refusing to listen to him.

Arnav sighed exasperated.

What do he do? Both the women in his life were stubborn!

He turned to Khushi and ordered again.

"Get up already Mrs.Raizada! Do you need special invitation to be sent to you?" He caught her elbow and was about to jerk her up to stand when Akash stepped forward and removed his grip from her hand. Again!

Arnav turned to him angrily.

"What is your problem Akash?" Arnav gritted.

"Let her stay with Di and Payal for a few days. They need each other." Akash said calmly.

"What about me? I need her. With me. Besides me!"

"Aren't you showing too much importance to the daughter of the woman who snatched your mother from you Arnav?" Subhadra Devi put the fuel on the fire making every occupant there hold their breaths of Arnav's reaction to that.

Dadi has instigated the monster in him reminding him of the sheer truth of his life. Shyam smirked inwardly.

It got the desired result out of Arnav. Hardness, heartlessness, coldness seeped into him as he turned to his Dadi.

"Don't be too worried Dadi. Both she and her mother are already paying for it. Nobody hurts my mother, snatch her from me and gets away with it." Arnav said with blood rushing to his eyes.

"We are in the hospital. Do I need to remind you all to stop hurling accusations at each other." Manohar Raizada finally lost it and said loud enough for everyone to shut their mouth.

Arnav's gaze went to Shyam and then he couldn't control what he did next.

All this time Khushi was sitting silent from outside but inside a war was on. Between her consience, her mind and her heart that she didn't even notice what was going around her. That Dadi has ignited the fire of revenge in her husband ever more powerful than before with just her one sentence sugar coated with sarcasm.

It was when she heard Anjali's scream then she looked up horrified seeing Arnav punching Shyam over his face again and again. She stood up feeling chills running down her spine.

"I TOLD YOU TO KEEP YOUR EYES OFF HER YOU BASTARD!" With his every word he punched him on his face, on his stomach causing the blood to ooze out of Shyam's mouth. Anjali cried out.

It took all of Akash and Manohar's strength to separate Arnav from Shyam who was on the verge of losing consciousness as everyone gathered around them. Hospital staff intervened too and it was sternly told to them to leave the corridor as to not disturb the patients in critical condition.

Khushi felt her legs turning jelly when Arnav turned to her angrily.

I was strong enough to fight him until I was alone.I withstood everything on me because it was just me but now another life is attached to mine and it is already making me emotional, unarmed. Before him.

Her eyes teared up feeling a plethora of emotions inside. The night when she conceived was playing in her mind like a film and it was making her more weak. And she don't want to be weak at all. Not at all.

It was all in her mind as she felt herself being dragged by her husband with an emotionless face. She was shoved inside the car. Before she knew it he was driving and they were inside the mansion with him looking at her speculatively.

"Start explaining Mrs.Raizada why did you run? Why didn't you pick up my calls? Where the hell were you till you reached the hospital? Clearly you didn't go there for Nani because you didn't know it that she was admitted there." He folded his hands on his chest looking at her briskly.

"Because I am fed up of you. I didn't want to talk to you. I didn't want to see you." She glared at him.

"You made me insult my mother to the limits of her endurance. I said so much to her and what did you think huh that it won't affect me at all? It won't hurt me? I am a human being Mr.Arnav Singh Raizada. A human being!" She choked pointing to herself. Tension was getting to her.

His heart clenched seeing her like that but what can he do when he has went to hell and back that hour while rushing to the hospital when she didn't pick up his calls. The thought that she might has already executed her hidden plans and ran away were taking a toll on him.

How could he tell her that he has breathed a sigh of relief when he saw her with Akash coming to him with that same desolate look on her face? How could he tell her? He can't even if he want to.

She turned to leave.

"Too bad huh." He said grabbing her hand and whirling her around to face him. His face too close to her while his hands wrapped around her waist pulling her closer until there was no gap between their bodies.

"You don't want to see me. You don't want to talk to me. Then don't. But do you remember what deal we made the last time when you went away without informing me?"

Khushi who was wiggling in his arms, stopped as her mind clicked.

"From tomorrow onward whenever you will go outside you'll go with ME. You won't ever step out without informing me. And one more thing, don't you ever switch off your phone.Did you hear me well and good?"

"NO!!" She growled.

"Fine then!" He smirked loosening his grip around her before putting her down.

"Tomorrow first thing in the morning I'll send a notice to Guptas to vacate the Gupta house within two hours."

"Or better I'll get a court notice and send police there so that they would throw them along with their luggage out of MY property. What say?" He raised his eyebrow.

"I think its time you learn some lessons to disobey me."

"Oh right." She gritted bunching his collar."What do I have to do for you to not hurt my family?"

He smirked. He leaned towards her lips to which she turned her face feeling needles pricking her throat.

He placed his lips to her ear.

"You will have to tell me the secret you have been hiding from me."

Khushi gulped and taking advantage of his loosen grip pushed him stepping back.

"I am not hiding anything from you."

"I don't believe you."

"Guess what. The feeling is mutual."

"Khushi!" He warned.

"I-I told you. There is nothing."

"The way you stammered just now is a prove that there IS something going on behind my back. What is it?"

"Its your illusion. Nothing else."

"Khushi!" He growled yanking her back in his arms. Khushi's heart came up to her mouth as it galloped in fear for her baby. He was still talking noticing everything.

"I want to know each and everything that cross your mind. Each and everything you feel. Each and everything you do behind my back. Am I clear Mrs.Raizada?"

"Yes. So listen Mr.Arnav Singh Raizada. I am planning to escape from your hold very soon. I will go far away. Far, far away from you where you won't be able to reach me even with all of your connection." Khushi chewed each word with her eyes full of tears while Arnav stared at her aghast.

"What are you planning?" He ground his teeth.

"You asked me to tell you the secret I was hiding and I did. It isn't necessary to go into the details of hows and when!"

"Mrs.Raizada!" He pressed her waist. She winced.

"I have done my end of bargain and I hope you won't trouble my family now." She said looking up at him.

His eyes has turned to a darker shade of red hearing about her plans.

"You are lying." He said bringing his one hand up to cup her nape making her breath hitch.

"Pity now your family would suffer for your back to back two mistakes. Firstly you ran away without telling me. Secondly, you lied to me."

Now it scared her.

"I-I swear I am not lying." Her insides panicked.

"The thing is Mrs.Raizada that I am too attuned to everything you say or do that nothing escapes my notice when it comes to you. And right now, you are doing nothing but lying looking into my eyes. That's not so good." He caressed her nape.

Her heart drummed in her chest. Anxiety was too much to handle.

"So either tell me the truth or see your family suffer." He said with his mouth grazing her cheek whilst she stood still in his arms feeling trapped.

On one side there is her baby and on the other her family!

And she could save only one among them.

"Jiji, calm down. I am fine now." Garima held Madhumati's hand who was boiling in rage.

"It is the god's grace that you fainted right in front of our door where you had been saved on time. What if something had happened to you on the road or worse if some bad accident had happened in the middle of the road then how disastrous that could've been, do you have any idea?" Madhumati whisper yelled as Shashi wasn't told of Garima's visit to AR yet neither of everything that happened there that led to Garima's ill health.

Her blood pressure has lowered making her hands dead cold that has made Madhumati terrified until she ran and brought along the doctor from the clinic at the corner of their neighborhood.

"I understand you are worried but getting angry like this won't solve anything would it?" Garima croaked as Khushi's words rang in her ears continuously making her ache with guilt from inside.

"Jiji, Khushi was right. Whatever she said-"

"Shut up Garima. If I had been at your place I would've slapped her for talking rubbish. How can she doubt our love for her? To save her reputation you had to break your ties with her. You wouldn't have done it otherwise. Don't you remember how Arnav threatened to leak their private pictures if you didn't leave her?"

"What is Khushi's fault in all this?"

"Her fault is that she gave him too much control over herself. She says that she hates him. But she only says it for just the sake of it. If she hadn't married him, you would've seen how she has withered away without him. It's just her anger that is pouring out in the name of hate. Otherwise our titaliya needs him as much as she needs oxygen to breath no matter how much he hurts her, no matter how much he humiliates her, no matter how much she says she don't want to be with him. That she wants someone to save her from him. At the end of it all, she wants him in her life and that's all there is to it."

Garima rubbed her forehead.

"So don't you dare tell me that you did wrong by backing off to marry her off with Arnav because you would've done wrong if you hadn't." Buaji said blatantly.

"He is torturing her, humiliating her just to get back at me jiji. She is suffering. Do you understand that?"

Madhumati blinked back the tears before saying.

"It's not only her who is suffering Garima. He is, too. If Khushi can't be without him, he can't be without her either. Otherwise why do you think he married her even though he consider you the reason of his mother's death? He could've simply left her at the mandap but he didn't. When Khushi chose you, he even went to length of blackmailing you to leave her. Just so that, Khushi stays with him."

"If only he had listened to me. I went there to tell him my side of the story but he didn't give me a chance to say anything."

"He thinks you are his culprit right? That's why he humiliated you like that in his office making Khushi a bait. Now, I will see how would he stop me from saying anything when I haven't done anything to any of his family ever." Madhumati stood up. Garima blinked her eyes at her.

"Jiji, you?"

"Yes Garima. You have the address to his new mansion don't you? Give itto me. Its time he sees what Madhumati Gupta, Khushi's Buaji really is."

"Sit here and think. Think well Mrs.Raizada and make a decision." He made her sit on their bed and while standing bent to her face level tipping her chin up.

Khushi wallowed in self pity that moment. She didn't know whether she should be stunned that he knew her too well or be terrified of the same fact.

"Its a pity that you know me too well and yet you do things that hurt me the most." Her words pierced his heart but the fire of the revenge that his grandmother has fueled inside him was too burning to let him think of other possibilities.

He sat before her taking both of her hands in his.

"It isn't a pity Mrs.Raizada but a fact about me. I can catch people well when they are lying."

"Like you caught Shyam when he deceived you and your family, your sister for years? Yeah right!"

He felt like he was punched in the gut. Slapped on his face.

"Do not provoke me Khushi!" He said coldly.

"As if you need a reason to be provoked."

"Shut up!" He said in a dangerously low maniac tone.

"You have burned my inside with anger and now only you will douse that fire." He said looking at her eyes meaningfully.

"Excuse me?"

"You won't be excused at all Mrs.Raizada. Either you will tell me the truth of what you are hiding from me or not only would I hurt your family, you will get punished too. There your family will suffer and here I will douse all of my cravings and desires of the last three months!"

PRECAP:

"Enough is enough. Go titaliya and bring your luggage. You are coming with me." Madhumati said sternly.

"She won't go anywhere." Arnav gritted with his eyes glued to Khushi.

"Why not we ask her what she wants or not for a change?" Madhumati said meaningfully and turned to Khushi.

Arnav warned her through his eyes while Khushi averted her own making a decision.

"I will go with you Buaji!"
