Y/N pov

You sat on your bed, tears welling in your eyes as you tried to call him for the third time, the same single buzz sound before the disconnected tone sounded, the same screen appearing before your eyes.

Maybe his phone died? You tried to reason with yourself, hoping that that was the reason none of your messages were going through. Maybe he didn't get a chance to respond before it died. Be didn't block me, he couldn't have...... right?

Doubts began to circle in your head as you stared at your phone screen, desperately waiting for any sign that he received your messages. Waiting for even a single italicized word to change to 'seen.' It was a simple word, but one that you found yourself begging to receive. One simple single word that could change your entire mood.

It felt dark. Despite being mid afternoon, with the blinding sunlight piercing through your half opened curtains, it felt darker than midnight in an unlit alleyway. You felt alone. Your doubts and fears slowly closing in around you, lurking in every corner and shadow, waiting to devour you whole.

"Jungkook" you whimpered out, allowing the tears you were forcing yourself to hold back, to finally fall.

You don't know how long you just sat there crying, eyes not moving from your screen except to find a charger when it sad "low battery 20%." But it was now dark out, the sun completely set below the city horizon.

You dried your tear streaked face and stood up, stretching your sore aching muscles as you walked to the bathroom for the first time that day. After relieving a bladder that you hadn't realized was full, you washed your pale face. Your eye bags were dark and wide, making you look like a pathetic deceased raccoon, and your hair was untameable, but still you brushed it, in a feeble attempt to make yourself even remotely presentable. You pulled it up into a sloppy top knot, and put on an oversized sweater from the back of your closet before grabbing your keys and stepping out of your apartment.

You cant even remember if you locked your door, but you didn't care. Your heavy feet took you where your heart needed you to go- passing the elevator and taking the empty set of stairs, each step echoing in the wide open space.

317.

You were facing the only thing between you and the one person that has been tearing apart you mind piece by piece for the last few days.

You knocked on the door with every ounce of energy you had left, but it still cane out so light, you were certain no one would hear it. But no more than a moment later, locks sounded and it flung open, revealing a wide eyed man with broad shoulders. He looked like he hadn't gotten much sleep either, his eyes almost as swollen and puffy as your own. If it weren't for the fact he had opened the door so soon after you knocked, and his hair being tidy, you would've thought he had just been woken up.

"Jungkook..." you breathed out, your voice shaky and uneven revealing just how broken and desperate you were.

"Come in," he said, stepping away and walking further into the house. "Last room on the right..... good luck. He hasn't come out since the chatroom." The man sounded weak and fragile. You could sense just how much he cared for each and every one of the six other boys. At that moment you knew exactly who you were facing, despite never being formally introduced.
Thank you Jin, you would have said if you were in your right mind, but instead you merely nodded to him and slowly made your way down the hall. You noticed Jimin sleeping in the hallway against the wall by the door you were searching for.

You knocked on the door even more softly than you had the last, quietly whimpering to yourself. You could hear silent sobs on the other side. Your heart broke even more in your chest as you listened to the broken boy. You couldn't take it anymore. You needed him and you knew it. So, with a shaky voice, and no barriers between your heart and his, but the thin door to his room, you called out to him.

"..... Jungkook?"

A/N:
You guys are seriously amazing. We're already at 2.7k+ reads. Ily all and i will work hard to make sure to give you guys the great chapters you deserve. This originally just started as a fun lil chatroom idea, but now i already know its starting to evolve into something more and i hope you all enjoy what i have planned as much as i do.

Also sorry for the angst these last couple chaps. And before anyone says they're being too dramatic, kooks not being an emo lil shit because of the gc. I mean at first yeah, it was because he was embarrassed, but its something else i touched on in the last chapter. Thats all I'm gonna say cuz i don't want to give any spoilers, i just wanted to let you guys know he's not being an over dramatic shit for no reason 😂

Thank you all again and don't forget to vote and comment what you think. I love comments. I'm a slut for them 😂

Swaeg long and prosper 🖖 😎
