Halloween was so soon!! Since they can't really go trick-or-treating, because of the whole empire and rebels thing, Ezra decided to have his own halloween party!!

Ezra went around asking if anyone would help him. "Hey Sabine would mind helping me with a Halloween party?" He asked her. "Not now Ezra, I'm busy!" She yelled through the closed door. Ezra shrugged and went to ask Zeb.

"Hey zeb, would you..." "No!" Zeb interrupted him. "Gee thanks." Ezra responded with a little sarcasm. Then chopper rolled down the hallway. "Chop! Would you mind helping me out?" Chopper turned around shocked Ezra and kept going. "Well I guess that's a no." Ezra sighed getting up.

He went into the cockpit to ask Hera. He sat down and Hera turned to face him. "What's up Ezra?" She asked. Could you help me with a Halloween party?" He asked kind of quiet. "Ezra I would love to help, but I kinda have to fly the ship." She said. "Ok. I get it." Ezra said sadly as he got up and walked out of the room.

Ezra went into the common room and sat down. No one wants to help me. He thought. He laid down just as Kanan walked into the room. He came over and sat on the edge of the couch that Ezra was laying on. "What's up?" Kanan asked him.

"It's nothing." "Ezra. You say that every time I ask you. Come on I know somethings up." Ezra sat up and moved so that he was sitting shoulder to shoulder with Kanan. "I'm just kinda bummed. Halloween is really close and I wanted to have a Halloween party to celebrate. But no one will help me with it." Ezra said looking down.

Kanan could see that this was important to Ezra, so being the person he is, he decided to help him out. "I'll help Ezra." He said putting his arm around his shoulders.

Ezra looked up at him, "really?!" He asked. His face lit up so much. Kanan smiled. "Of corse!" Ezra jumped up. "Come on! We need to plan!" He said running to his room. Kanan laughed and followed.

They stayed up all night planning. Well most of it. They fell asleep around 12:00 at night. When Hera came to get them she found that they were sitting on the bed leaning against the wall, Kanan had his arm around Ezras shoulder and Ezra was cuddled into kanans side, and theirs heads were resting on each others. Hera smiled and looked at Ezras desk.

Right next to his pictures, were there plans for Halloween. Hera picked them up, smirked, and ran out of the room. She ran to Sabines door and knocked. "Sabine open up please!!" She yelled.
Sabine came to the door and opened it, "yes Hera?" She asked. "I need you help me with a favor." Sabine smiled, knowing what was coming next.

"Hey zeb!!" Hera ran into the kitchen. "Hera! What's up?" He turned to face her. Wow, this is a good day for Zeb. She thought. "Can you help me with something? Please?" Hera asked. Zeb thought for a moment before saying, "sure." "Yes!" Hera yelled and ran out of the room. Zeb chuckled and went back to his meal.
Hera then ran to Ezras room and quietly opened the door.

She walked into the room and woke Kanan but let Ezra sleep. "I need help with something." She said and held up the papers. Kanan looked at them and then Ezra smiling. He layed Ezra down and walked to the door with Hera. "Anything." He said to Hera.

She called Zeb and Sabine down to the common room with them. And told them the plan that she and Kanan had discussed. Sabine and zeb went to get candy and costumes while Hera and Kanan got out things to make some treats. Once Sabine and Zeb got back they started on decorations.

Kanan and Zeb hung them up, because Hera and Sabine were to short to do that part. But they could set out tables and put table cloths and bowls of candy and plates of food and treats.

They put on costumes, Kanan was a king and Hera was his queen. Zeb was a knight and Sabine was a princess. They got a crown for Ezra he was gonna be a prince. (Ha. See what I did there! :p)

"Ok. Now to wake up Ezra." Kanan said. "Kanan you should wake him up." Zeb said. Kanan nodded and walked down to Ezras room. He walked in and put his hand over Ezras eyes and shook him awake. "Ezra wake up." He said. Ezra woke up and asked with a confused face, "why is there a hand over my face?" Kanan chuckled. "I have a surprise for you. Come on." He helped Ezra up and guided him to the common room.

Once he was there Kanan lifted his hand off of Ezras eyes and placed the crown on his head. "Surprise!!" Everyone yelled. Ezra was so surprised!! "Wow! Guys this is amazing!" Everyone went in for a group hug!

"Time to party!" Sabine yelled! "Yeah!" "Woah!" "Lets go!" Everyone yelled in response. They spent the rest of the night dancing and laughing! Even when a slow song came on Kanan and Hera danced together, Sabine and Ezra danced together, and Zeb and chopper danced together, chopper was dressed as a squire!

They all laughed and danced and ate and played their part as if they lived in a castle! It was a blast until everyone grew tired and decided to go to bed. Kanan, Hera and Ezra walked down the hallway to their rooms.

"I really like the costumes! It was like we were an actual family!" Ezra exclaimed. "Ezra we are an actual family. Not by blood, but by bond. We are a family." Kanan said as he bent down to be at Ezras height. Ezra smiled even wider if it was even possible and hugged Kanan with all his might. "Thank you for being the one to plan with me."

Kanan hugged him back just as tight, "Ezra itbwas my pleasure." They both released each other, but before they went to their separate rooms Kanan bent down and kissed Ezra on the forehead. Ezra smiled and went into his room.

Kanan stood up and turned to Hera who had her mouth wide open. "What?" Kanan asked smirking. Hera just skqeeled and dance and jumped around! Kanan laughed and walked down to his room thinking, that was the best Halloween ever!
