Nagisa is what you would call a prodigy.

Ever since he could speak, he learnt how to sing beautifully.

Although, as he got older, he didnt show his talent for singing to the world making his mother be disappointed.

She always wanted a daughter but got him instead, for her the only thing good coming from Nagisa is his talent for singing. She thought that she could maybe make him famous, making them rich. But the bluenette kept his beautiful voice to himself.

"HOW DARE YOU!!! AFTER EVERYTHING I GAVE YOU YOU WONT EVEN REPAY ME!!! AT FIRST I WAS FURIOUS AT YOU FOR NOT BEING THE DAUGHTER I WANTED BUT YOU DECIDED TO KEEP YOUR TALENT TO YOURSELF?! WHAT GOOD WOULD THAT DO?! IF YOU JUST LISTEN TO ME AND MAKE YOUR TALENT PUBLIC THEN MAYBE WE DONT HAVE TO SUFFER WITH OUR FINANCIAL PROBLEM!!! YOU'RE STILL YOUNG.. I KNOW WHATS BEST FOR US NOT YOU, STOP BEING SELFISH AND JUST FOLLOW WITH WHAT YOUR MOTHER TELLS YOU!!"

Is what Nagisa hears every single day.

He knows his mom is still keeping him because of his voice...

His voice is the reason he gets to stay with his mother which is why he loves it and hates it at the same time.

No matter how many times his mother forces him to publicize his beautiful voice he would always manage to get out of it.

Dont get him wrong, he loves singing and wants to take being a singer as a job. But, he only wants to prove to his mother that she cant control him, she cant make him her puppet.

Nagisa looked at the back of Karma's head while the latter was leading him somewhere.

He has dreamed of something similar.

The two walked in a cafe and Karma told him that it was all on him (although Nagisa argued Karma managed to convince him)

Nagisa ordered a strawberry parfait and Karma got blueberry cheesecake

The two talked about their interests, unsuprisingly the two were passionate about music, suprisingly the two were fans of the same comic book "Sonic Ninja" as well as the movie being based off it.

The two talked and talked until they notice that the sun was about to set.

Nagisa thanked Karma for his treat and Karma waved it off

"Hey Nagisa can I have your number?" (author-kun: smooth)

"Huh?" Nagisa tilted his head in confusion

"Well...." Karma rubbed the back of his neck before continuing "Just incase I need to contact you since you're my singer now"

Nagisa smiled as he heard that, he agreed to be Karma's singer since he really wanted to be one. The reason why he rejected the other offers were because it was all his mother's idea. So he was happy that he became a singer without his mom's help.

Nagisa grabbed a piece of paper and a pen, he wrote his number and gave it to Karma

"Call me whenever there's something up alright!"

Nagisa winked and Karma blushed a bit

"Alright"

Its been two weeks

Karma texted and talked to Nagisa almost every hour, no they wouldnt talk about music (although the topic did come up from time to time).

For some reason Karma really wanted to know more about Nagisa.

As the week past the two grew closer and closer, eventually Karma called Nagisa for an upcoming event and that they needed to meet up so that they can practice.

Karma didnt tell the media about him finally getting a permanent singer. He wanted it to be a suprise since,,, well... Thats what everyone wants right? suprises

"Nagi!!!"

Karma shouted, standing up a bit from his seat inside the cafe earning quite the attention.

Although Nagisa blushed Karma didnt care about the audience he garnered.

"K-Karma-kun, you shouldnt shout."

Nagisa whined while Karma merely smirked.

"I dont really care about them just you~"

Nagisa blushed harder

"By the way you should just call me Karma."

"A-are you sure?"

Karma smiled

"Of course!!"

The red head may or may not gained feelings for the bluenette after the weeks he's spent getting to know him. And, in Karma's perspective, Nagisa is extremely interesting

Karma was pulled out of his phantasm when a girl with dark blue hair, bangs hiding her left eye, along with a hexagram pendant walked up to Nagisa making Karma flinch in anger

"Hi Nagisa!!! Its cool seeing you here!!"

"Oh hi---"

Their conversation was tuned out in Karma's mind before Nagisa could say the stranger's name. Karma was too busy glaring at the girl for stealing his precious time with the bluenette.

"Ka... rma, Karma!!"

Karma snapped back to reality when Nagisa called out his name.

Karma looked around and sighed in relief when the girl was gone

"So what did you want to tell me?"

Karma jumped as he was reminded of the upcoming event that will take place at a sports gymnasium.

"O-oh uhhh there's an upcoming event this month at *add address of the sports gymnasium*. The MC asked me if I could compose a song for the players and assign a singer to,, well,, sing"

Nagisa hummed as he sipped on the milkshake he ordered

"Huh ok then. So its going to be like an olympics or something"

Karma nodded while Nagisa checked his calendar in his phone. No assigned schedules this month.

"Alright! I'll do it!"

Nagisa smiled as Karma flinched from the cuteness.

"W-well I already started composing. It'll be finished by tomorrow afternoon so meet me here tomorrow at 1:00 pm sharp!"

Nagisa straighten his back and gave him a salute while saying

"Roger!!"

Before chuckling at his childish actions.

Karma couldnt help but laugh with him.

Honestly, Nagisa's so lucky he can act like a kid so easily

The red head thought while smiling but quickly frowned when he took a glance at Nagisa's covered wrists.

He wont tell anyone especially Nagisa that he saw old and new scars scattered on his porcelain skin.

When Nagisa's attention wasnt at the red head Karma would grit his teeth.

Promising Nagisa that if he found out that someone drove this precious blueberry to do self harm, he would show them hell.
