A few days later, the police returned. This was due to the neighbor's complaints that the house where the dead lady was found still smelled off. The police had already sent the first body to the morgue. They suspected there might be a second body.

     The police looked around some more. They discovered a figure that looked horrible. It was the man of the house. He appeared to have some object in his chest. It was a gory sought to see.

         Sergeant Mitch called it in.

     "Chief, there is more bad news, sir. I hate to wake you at this hour."

     "Then, why did you, Sergeant Mitch?"  He heard on the other end of the phone.

        "I am back at the Keller's house, the place of the first horrendous crime, and it sir, I found another body. There been another killing."

         "By the looks of it, the killer was in a hurry to kill this one, and the dead person is Mr. Henry L. Keller,"  Sergeant Mitch said.

           "Hmm, that sounds serious. It makes it sound like there may be a serial killer on the loose, either that or you may have only missed it the other day when expecting the place. This sort of thing tends to happen sometimes," The police chief said.

                "Any idea on a possible motive behind the killings?" Sergeant Mitch spoke into the phone.

              "How should I know, you are in charge of the investigation? You keep searching and try to figure out a motive, and to discover who is behind all these ghastly killings." The chief of police responded.

                The sergeant heard sorning on the phone and knew the chief must have fallen asleep. Well, good for him, he thought. He much rather be in bed than out here in the Keller's home, the scene of a murder, no make that two murders.  

                He suspected it must be a stranger, a neighbor, or maybe even one of the Keller's daughters behind the crimes. He had no idea what the reason could be just yet. He needed to check more details to find out more. Hopefully, he could before the killer struck again.

                  Meanwhile, Mary Beth Keller was fast asleep. She might be wicked, but that did not change the fact, she was sleeping when the Sergeant showed up. She had no idea that he had found the second body.

              Later on the news ...

        "Keller home the scene of Another Murder?"

        "The police discovered another body there."

              "Yes, that is correct, and they have sealed it off as well," The news reporter lady said.

            Mary Beth Keller saw the news. She could not believe how stupid everyone was. Why had not anyone  discovered the truth behind the killings yet?  Was it just her, or were they asking for more trouble?
