Kiss on the cheek ("I like you")

Lately you've been glancing at Onoda Sakamichi more often. You were wondering what had changed with him during the time he joined the school's cycling club.

You've been his classmate since middle school and fate thought it would be fun to put you in the same school and class for high school.

Not that there was anything wrong with that. He's an otaku and you've talked to him before and even became his lab partner in biology. Apparently, you two became quite close. He's so awkward and shy sometimes but you find it adorable.

But now, something seemed to change. He's still timid and awkward, but something about him seemed...stronger.

That afternoon while you're eyes were on him (again), he turned back and caught a glimpse of you looking at him. You didn't look away though and that made him feel awkward so he gestured a little 'sorry' bow for you and left the room with his head down.

You giggled, "My gods, that's adorable."

After fixing your stuff and attending club activities. You made your way to the front of the school where coincidentally, Onoda stood with his bike.

"Onoda-kun!" You called out. He turned and smiled shyly at you. You then noticed that he's still wearing his cycling jersey and asked if he's still practicing.

"Y-Yeah. Kaburagi-kun and I are still doing laps. He's a bit slow on the climb, so I'm waiting for him here."

You nodded and smiled. "You know, something changed about you. The atmosphere around you maybe?"

"I didn't notice t-that at all..."

"You don't notice much about yourself. Bet you never noticed this either." You leaned in and landed a small kiss on his cheeks and smiled at his surprised reaction.

He was blushing and struggled how to talk for a bit. It was adorable.

"Onoda-kun, are you free this Saturday? I wanted to try going to Akiba."

It was obvious that he was eager to answer, but his lips found it impossible to make a coherent sentence. And so, he decided to just nod.

This made you happy. You smiled and waved him goodbye, glad that you finally managed to show him that you like him.
