This isn't about Wade himself but more of the fandom.

Why do people call him their favorite? I've asked a few if my younger cousin and they all said because he was violent. My brother whose older and finds better reasons to favor one character had named off characteristics about him that he liked. The fact that he wouldn't force himself upon someone, sarcastic, breaks the fourth wall quite a bit and basically is in both the Avenger and X-men 'world'*

But people always forget the fact that he's a nice guy. I mean he isn't going to be a fluffy bunny nice, that just isn't the Deadpool we know. What I mean is that... if he was about to kill someone and there's children he would turn them around or cover their face with something because he doesn't want to that child to have that image burned into their memory. Now some ignorant people may say "But kids watch people die in tv shows all the time!" Well most kids knew that they were actors. Besides kids wouldn't be watching those movies unless their parents said So. But the thing is that witnesses someone die in general is a horrifying experience. I've never witnessed a person die per say but animals. It's a really hard thing to get through and Deadpool doesn't want that kid to have a memory like that, that could potentially break them.

Deadpool would never force himself on anyone else. He is a rape, incest, pedophile, and abuse victim. It would be out of character to say he would do that. Sure ok sexual jokes are a thing, flirting is a thing, but he would go out and kiss a girl without permission or dating them. Same with sex. Take the Deadpool movie if you have seen it. (I don't remember what the girls name was So I'm calling her girl) they were talking and the girl had said something about going back to her house. Now the thing about this is the fact that they way she said this, she was offering him to come with her and it was for sex. He accepted. Now this scene may of went differently it's just j can't remember but either way, they both wanted to do the deed So they did it. Deadpool wouldn't force anyone to have sex with him. And I say anyone because he is pansexual and I believe (if I'm wrong please correct me) it means they like the personality more? I know it's different from bisexual So yea.

Deadpool will pull up his mask and uncover his lips So Clint (Hawkeye) can read his lips so Wade doesn't have to sign everything. Now if you guys didn't know this, Clint is deaf. Hearing aids die, need new batteries, need to be recharged. Sometimes they can be forgotten or lost. Sometimes maybe he doesn't want to wear it ya know? I need glasses and still do and I don't wear mine. Alright I have a reason for that though... and I'm sure Clint dose too.

Deadpool had fallen in love with a teenager but left her because he doesn't want to hurt her. So saying this, Deadpool wouldn't date a Peter Parker who wasn't 18+.

Deadpool doesn't kill without reason either. So fanfiction writers, stop making him kill people because he's bored. That's not one of his reasons. He kills with good intentions.

Due to the fact that he breaks the fourth wall a lot fanfiction writers need to add that too.

Deadpool isn't batshit insane. He has Identity disorder, PTSD, he is on psychosis spectrum and hallucinates.

Deadpool favorite food is a chimichanga either. That's he's favorite word. He's favorite food are tacos. Just thought I'd put that out there.

Basically this whole chapter is a cheat sheet for Deadpool fanfiction. Some people actually are really good at it others... well Deadpool is very OCC in them. Just keep working on them you'll get better! ❤️
