The dripping noise was loud in the empty room, echoing around the space for a bit. And the next drop hit her forehead directly this time, she opened her eyes slowly to find the wet ceiling leak . Again, it dropped on her right cheek this time. There was none, in fact nothing in that room, she looked around until she felt someone's hand stroking her hair affectionately. That's when she realized she's been sleeping on his lap. An immediate relief surrounded her face as soon as she saw him.

S- you're up?

He asked while wiping the wetness out of her face, she sat up slolwy with a confused place.

A- you said you had some work. What are we doing here?

S- yes but for that we have to leave from here first.

A- come on then.

She tried to get up, when suddenly the door opened from the other side. A big man came in on finding her awake , looked around the room scanning it thoroughly, and then locked it again not before saying this.

' Don't you dare try anything again , mental '

As soon he went out and locked it annika panicked.

A- we're locked inside! Shivaay!

S- we'll be ok, trust me.

Her frown shrunk just then.

S- come with me.

She stood up holding his hand and he took her to the attached room in there , to the restroom.

A- what are you

S- shh.

He picked her stole and tore it apart to tie it around both her palms each. Only when he pointed the ventilator window there, she somewhat understood what he was trying to do. Annika shook apart on hearing a sudden bang on the door.

' hey! '

Shivaay quickly removed the cloth from her hand and signalled her to pretend. She gave a nod before opening the door.

' what are you doing inside? '

A- what people usually do .

' enough come on out now! '

A- I am not done yet.

The man twitched his lips and looked furstrated.

' make it fast '

She quickly shut the door at his face. Then both together started removing the glass slides which ran across the window one by one, making sure to not make any noise. The man outside would be here again, his rotation time was just 5 minutes. So she came out and sat in the room. Just as they expected , he came to check if she back and went out again. The next second she acted fast and rushed to the washroom . He jumped out first and then pulled her to him.

S- you're ok?

A- that was fun.

He smiled when she said this and blew off the fringes covering her face. But they didn't run immediately, rather hid within some concrete pipes which were arranged there. They were big enough to fit people inside so he chose to lay low until they go around searching for them, cause he knew if they run now , they'd definitely get caught .

They were literally an inch apart from each other, annika kept watching him while he looked around cautiously.

A- this reminds me of that day when we you had to sneak me inside the boys hostel, for arranging the hallticket photo, remember?

He looked no more serious now, rather was found smiling at her.

S- I wish we stayed in that hostel room only.

Here Daksh was tensed very much, he didn't really know what to do now. He panicked even by the thought of anything happening to her. Just then one of his men came out running .

' Sir... sir '

D- what?

' That girl, annika, she has escaped! '

D- what the hell! What we're you doing?

' sir, I... She was just here , but '

D- stop with your buts and go search dammit! Everyone! She must be some where here only. Dad can't know this , go!

' ok, ok '

He lost his cool, already he was hell worried for nitya and this news was all about and ready to suck his sane mind. He groaned and roared like an animal before rushing out to search for her.

R- no way senior I'm not leaving you alone.

Rudra stood rooted to his place, adamantly . He didn't buy Shivaay's plan of sending all of them back to Sharon's place where the kids stayed . So did Leena.

L- let Sharon and Vrushali see to the girls. I'm staying with you.

Om - shivaay, you can't be do

S- ok can everyone just stop it!

He shouted to have them hold onto their horses now. Already he had so much to think and them not obliging to his words only irritated him more.

S- you all are worried that I'd do something to her.

Nitya who was held captive inside the car looked at him with complete horror, while the others remained quiet after hearing him.

S- am I right? Her condition entirely depends on annika's safety, as long as she's fine I won't harm her don't worry.

All of them sighed in relief, he took a long pause and then continued.

S- but, if anything happens to her, then I can't promise you anything.

N- please !! Why are you doing this? What did I do!

She cried, shivaay looked at her with utter ignorance, eyes not even making little bit of a flinch to her loud shrieks .

S- what did my annika do?

Nitya scowled at him with a grudge filled face, she didn't really know what was happening but she hated his stubborn senseless mind .

Om- ok, Rudra you go with them. I'll stay with shivaay.

Shivaay watched Om in disbelief, he was going to object but Om didn't give him that chance.

Om - don't waste your energy shivaay I ain't gonna listen.

R- senior this is suicide! How can you handle it alone ?

S- I've got work for you Rudra, gonna help or?

Rudra looked helpless and kicked the ground in frustration, shivaay came ahead to stand in front of him.

S- I can't risk everyone's life , I will make sure to save her,but I don't want anyone else falling in harm for that. If anything should happen, it must be me. You all have done enough ,and the kids, they should be safe. Let atleast one good thing happen Rudra.

Om who stood the other side slowly brought his sight on shivaay , a lot of emotions took over him. These were the last few words he had said the other day too , at the sports day event ,before he even forgot anything. That's what his friend is, with memory, with no memory at all, he always strives to protect his people no matter what, even if it takes to keep his life at stake. Om suddenly appeared between the two and hugged shivaay .

Om- I won't leave you alone this time.

Shivaay was confused but he did see his tears.

S- why is no one listening at all!

He sighed in defeat.

It's been an hour now, and still there was no sign of her, not even a clue. Daksh was going insane, he had already received the information about meeting spot and time, an exclusive warning message followed, stressing to come alone and not be late .

This second nothing went into his head, his Dad, annika, shivaay, nothing, his wife nitya was everything he worried about now . He is evil like his father, greedy like his father, selfish like his father, but if at all something good is left in him it's solely because of his wife. She accepted him wholeheartedly with all his flaws and showered serene love on him effortlessly, without judging him for his deeds. And somewhere between all this, he felt himself changing for good.

Everything for love, all because of love.

He has to save her at any cost.

Clock struck 11.30 PM.

The meeting didn't really go as he had expected, recent chaos and incidents at the hospitals and the school , had a different reflection on the society. They seemed to loose faith on the government which was a big set back for them. Polls, public opinions, everything highlighted the troubles he is yet to face in future.

Still, he knew what he's doing and what he's gonna do. He's been in this field for almost three decades now, so obviously he could clearly visualize different ways to sort this down. Expertise. All this on one side, and this revolt group on the other. His head ached , he flinched by the consequences he has to face if they escape. Maybe they don't have any evidence to show,but leaving them alive will definitely get him to trouble one day . That will be a nightmare for him.

He had several other important jobs to do but he prioritized them today, cause he was sure to bring them end , and this day was fixed for them. They shouldn't see the sunrise next morning, only these thoughts kept running in his mind as he drove towards the place where annika was kept.

He received a call just then. One of his men, a loyal man in fact, who is more loyal to the father than the son, called. His face flared with fire when he heard the news.

' And, Daksh sir has already left. '

V- I asked one thing of you all! Urghh!! How's that even possible? No way she can escape from there so quick. That girl is acting stupid, but she is clever enough to fool all of us. Did you check the place thoroughly?

' Yes sir, we checked everywhere,the roads are empty . Don't know how she '

V- not the roads you fool! Wait I'm almost there, let me just do it all.

He hung up after giving a earful to the man on the other side. The place was completely isolated, no way anyone could easily get in and out of it without leaving trace. And in her case, she could hardly even walk. She looked weak when he last saw her. If at all she had escaped, it should've cost her a great will power and physical stamina to run quick if she actually did do that. But, he doubted. Maybe she's still hiding there somewhere, trying to outsmart everyone which she's very capable of.

What these people did before two months, was something no human kind could even think of. Veer was an inevitable species, but they were daring enough to fight him. This crew is capable of anything, he studied them and knew what each can actually do. Annika's story was even more intriguing for him, standing up against her own father, ready to die for the people she cared.

She is something and that itself told him a lot, she won't give up that easily. He increased the speed.

Daksh had no other choice, as the deadline was nearing he couldn't give any excuse . So he brought a random girl with him to the place, just where shivaay had mentioned. Surrounded by forest completely, these trees blocked even the little moonlight from reaching the ground. The car's headlight was the only saving point. He reached to the exact spot to find another vehicle already parked there. Daksh hoped nothing had happened to his wife and prepared to get down, hiding his pistol case behind .

D- shivaay, as you had asked. I brought her. And I came without my men.Now please let go of my wife.

At once he felt his eyes crushing themselves not being able to handle the light up front when the other car's headlight beamed upon. Slowly getting used to it, by the time he opened his eyes completely they were already out and standing. He breathed out a huge sigh watching his nitya there. She sobbed beneath that plaster on her mouth, her hands and legs were also tied.

The girl who was in Daksh's car , her face was covered with something so they could hardly see anything. It was his plan, somehow play and kill time until he he gets hold of the situation . And once he wins, put a bullet inside all, that was his mantra today. But his blood flushed to pour out from his eyes making them red, as he saw shivaay suddenly pulling out a knife. Within no time he had held it across Nitya's neck , not even an inch apart, the blade was actually touching her skin. She hollored in terror, it was hardly audible though. Om was shook watching this.

D- shivaay! Please don't, I I'll do whatever you want. Please don't harm her, please!!!

Shivaay's next few words brought him shivers.

S- where is annika?

Shivaay may have not seen her in these five years, but even now he didn't actually need blink of second to recognize, spot sense or feel her, whatever it is. He knew it wasn't his annika the second he saw the girl inside the car, he just knew it. And it only made him hella scared. His plan was very clear and winning, Daksh should've brought her here for his wife's sake . He was bound to, still, if he didn't, then, then what happened to her? What did they do to her?Shivaay felt like he was being swallowed by the earth,even by the thought of it. He became uncontrollable and showed all his aggression on Nitya who was held captive now.

S- where is she!!!

Nitya had to gulp in immediately to move her throat flesh back or else he would've caught her this time, he didn't seem to realize what he was doing. Om tried to control him but he pushed him even . Tears ran down his eyes suddenly.

D- hey, hey please!

S- what did you do to her? Where is my annika!

D- hey shivaay, please listen. Listen to me once, please stop

S- answer me or I'll

D- I don't know ok!! I don't know where she is, she escaped from us.

He shouted to stop him from doing anything in that rage. Shivaay didn't seem to buy it though.

S- you think I'm a fool? Don't even try to play your dirty games with me.

D- no no no no hey, no please trust me. I am telling the truth, just after your call I found out that she had eacaped. And we even

He was distracted by his phone just then.

S- who is it?

D- my dad.

S- throw it to me, do it!

D- ok, ok wait.

Shivaay caught it right and swiped the green to put it on speaker, not before he signalled everyone to keep numb , especially Nitya.

V- DK you fool!! What have you done? Why didn't you inform me at the first place, she didn't go anywhere she was just there all this time and you blind fool forgot to use your brain.

Shivaay immediately pointed the phone towards Daksh and insisted him to speak.
Daksh felt more than relieved, he has got something now. He should play his part. He was ready to pull out his gun any second now, shivaay seemed to be so immeresd in the call.

D- thank god you found her, bring her here soon, we , we have to save Nitya.

V- seriously! You really think I care about your wife now? Come on DK stop being an idiot and think like a man, you can marry anyone and start a new life is she dies . We are not ready to accept defeat for some random girl now, annika is our trump card . She is gonna lead us to the rest of them, so that we can kill them all. I am coming there, wait for me and don't do anything foolish.

Daksh stood hard and idle like a rock as he heard him talk. His grip on the gun case loosened, he couldn't believe his dad actually said that. Nitya's condition was even worse now. Shivaay was loosing it entirely, he thought having Nitya's life at stake would give him some dominance but when he heard what Varun just said, it almost broke his confidence. He gritted his teeth and crushed his eyes ,then suddenly out of nowhere he heard her voice, annika's voice.

A- leave me please, shivaay must be waiting for me. Let me go!!

She fought Varun inside the car to receive an immediate slap from him.

A- ahh!!

S- I will kill you!!

Varun had to hold the phone away for a second when his eardrums almost felt like bursting out by this sudden thunder like roar. Shivaay has already entered the scene, he realized. His fool son is so determined to prove he's much big of a fool than he had imagined , sighing huge he pressed the phone to his ear again.

V- I am not an emotional fool like you or DK shivaay, I am something else. Hey, hey no don't ahh!!!

A- leave me!

She bit his arm suddenly and grabbed that moment to jump out of the car. Since the area was kind of a slope, she rolled over without control to somewhere vanish inside the woods.

V- stop the car, she jumped.

All he heard was a long beep sound then, she has jumped . Shivaay's mind stopped working first, but he forced himself to get up and get going cause he has to find her before anyone does. Daksh had no other choice, he lost faith on his dad , he had to save Nitya. He was all quick and ready with his gun but didn't realize how fast and way ahead shivaay can be. Before he could even do anything, he was thrown on the ground as shivaay just kicked him. He then punched his face and snatched the gun from him.

S- your dad is gonna die tonight.

Annika didn't really know where she was headed or even if the direction was correct, but she didn't stop and kept running with all her strength to get as far as possible. She was hiding with shivaay until this man came out of nowhere, beat the hell out of shivaay and abducted her from there, that's what she knows about this story. She has to go back, get back to shivaay , he's hurt a lot.

The ground was slippery, every step actually was. A second she fell and the next she stood up to run again, the drill was regular.

They stopped the car on seeing tyre marks on the opposite side , it should be Varun's vehicle. Shivaay followed it until the marks vanished inside the jungle. He quickly got down and ran into the woods like a maniac .

Varun kept his pistol ready, ready to shoot, whoever falls in his sight now. It was completely dark, making it so difficult to see. He moved cautiously hiding behind the trees and all to be very invisible and idle. Or else this girl would again do anything if she spots him first , for the bold and fearless woman she is.
He slipped and fell when something got tangled with his leg, it was a shawl. Her's, he smirked dreaming of his victory, he is headed in the right direction. Taking it out of his leg, he started running again.

A- ahh!!

She shrieked and fell crying in pain when her feet was compromised to an animal trap, she was bleeding terribly.

The shriek was loud, shivaay stopped running and turned on all sides to know which direction it actually came from but since the place was dense, sound travel didn't seem to work here. His heart was pounding hard that it felt like it would fall out any second now. That's when he saw the birds flying away from the trees on one particular side, they react to noises immediately. Without wasting a second, he ran towards that direction, towards his left.

Here varun seemed to notice it to, a loud shriek and flocking birds. He took time to catch some breath and started running soon towards that direction, towards his right.

Her legs had given up, she struggled to breathe properly. Looking around she almost couldn't make out what is what, it was totally black, the dark night seemed hard black in this forest. Howmuch ever she tried she couldn't get rid of that metal trap, it stung like anything, she cried and dragged herself . But where? Left or right, which direction is going to be her saving point ? It was like as if she was stuck in the middle of nowhere.What should she do? Where is she going? Her breathing trouble became worse , she looked to her right and left once before dragging herself towards her left to hide and catch breath behind that big mighty tree which stood afar.
