First idol apart from Twice finally! I took my sweet time with twice, now it's finally time to experiment with other groups.

Dreamcatcher's Gahyeon for those who don't know. Honestly my bias wrecker in this group. Hell, all of them are.

This is going to be set pretty recently. Depending on when I get this out, they may have won their first win. I really hope they do win, they just have so much talent that is being slept upon because people can't accept different styles of music. Their latest comeback has to be my favorite so far.

"And now, I'm in my deja vu." Siyeon sung beautifully. Cheers and scream went out as the song ended. Each member holding their pose looking stunning.

(For those who don't know these amazing girls)

Kim Min-ji (JiU)

Kim Bo Ra (SuA)

Lee Si-yeon (Siyeon)

Han Dong (Handong)

Kim Yoo-hyeon (Yoohyeon)

Lee Yu-bin (Dami)

Lee Ga-hyeon (Gahyeon)

The show ended as the girls left back to their dorm. They were exhausted, all of them tended to their needs. Eating, showering, or even just rest. They needed much of this since tomorrow is another performance and fan signing.

Gahyeon entered her room and dove into her bed. She pulled out her phone and started looking through the latest news of their comeback. The views were constantly going up, many reaction videos, and even covers. This is it, it has to be. Their first win was getting closer and closer.

Competing with other groups was never easy. Especially when the other group's type of music was more generic and appealing to the public. Meanwhile not many people always enjoyed rock or metal themes in the Kpop fandoms. But their fans have been more supporting than ever, gaining their recognition and raising their popularity.

The news caught certain soloist's attention. Not that he didn't already know who they were. He had been following them since the beginning. Loving every new comeback and album that was being dropped. He shared their same frustrations when another group topped them just because their music was popular. He's had his eyes on Dreamcatcher's Maknae for a while now. Who didn't love those squishy cheeks of her's, or that beautiful voice, and that smile, god that smile always killed him.

Luckily tomorrow was their fan signing and he had won a ticket to attend. Hopefully he won't cause too much of a ruckus attending. Idols attending other idol's fan signs shouldn't be too big of a deal right?

Next Day
The performance was over as the girls prepped for the next event. They were exhausted, performing everyday at a different show to ensure that they get at least one win. They still had to power through and meet their fans who had bought their albums and thank them.

The fan sign went on just like any other. Fans coming through and greeting the girls. Nothing really exciting until a few fans screamed. A crowd gathered and cheers went out. The girls were curious at what was happening, most of them standing up and trying to see what it was.

"Oh! Look it's Kim (Y/n)!" Yoohyeon said pointing to notify the others. The fans weren't dying down, but he finally had enough.

"Everyone please resume the fan sign. I have my own ticket to be here just as all of you. So please let's get back in line."

"(Y/n)-oppa! Why are you here?" A fan asked.

"Same as all of you, I wanted to meet my idols just as much as any of you." He answered.

A few of the bodyguards came and pulled him out of line so that he wouldn't be smothered any longer. A manager came and handed him a microphone.

"Oh, wait I don't really need this. It's not my show." He said but they refused.

"I didn't want to cut in line you guys. I earned my ticket just as all of you did. I just wanted to meet them, not cause a scene." He said, before turning to the girls and greeting them.

"Hello I am Kim (Y/n), I'm really excited to meet all of you today." He said, finishing it off with a bow. Dreamcatcher followed and introduced themselves to him.

"So you came to our fan signing. Are you new to our group oppa? How come we've never seen you come before?" JiU asked.

"Actually I've been watching since you seven debuted. Usually my company doesn't allow me to attend things like this but I got lucky this time." He said laughing.

"Who's your bias oppa?" Yoohyeon asked.

"Nice one little puppy, way to go and embarrass him." Handong added. Everyone waited for his answer and it was pretty obvious already, he was staring at one and only one person.

"My bias is of course your one and only maknae, Lee Gahyeon." He said into his mic, before a shower of cheers came from behind him. Gahyeon stared blankly still processing what he just said.

"Looks like you're getting nervous Gahyeon. Something wrong?" Dami whispered to her. Gahyeon was finally snapped out of her trance shaking her head no.

"Now then, I think I've said enough. If we can, let's please resume the fan signing. I'll wait my turn just like everyone else." He said, smiling at Gahyeon. If only she would flash her smile at him.

And like he said, he waited in line as the fan sign went on normally. Fans in line would talk to him constantly which he didn't quite mind but it did begin to get anointing when they were bugging him why he came to see Dreamcatcher. He just wanted to see his favorite group nothing more. Well... maybe a little more.

Finally he came to the first member, the pink princess JiU. Greeting each other again. They had their talk while almost everyone else tuned in and listened to him.

Next was the queen SuA, again greeting and signing his album.

Siyeon was next and her voice was even more beautiful upfront.

Their Chinese princess Handong was next. "Have fun with Gahyeon" she whispered after signing his album.

Next was Yoohyeon who was a bit more interested in (Y/n)'s intentions with their youngest. "Do you like her?" She asked. Gaining a simple nod from him as she cheered quietly so that Gahyeon wouldn't hear. But she was happy that you confessed.

The prince Dami was next, their rap god. Her deep voice was charming just like her looks.

And finally the member he was waiting to meet. Their fluffball and creampuff, Gahyeon. They were both nervous. Especially her knowing that she was his favorite. Without saying a word she signed his album, handing it back to him. That was enough to make his day.

"I've been wanting to ask you this. I have this song I wrote a while back but I never released it. Would you like to do a small collaboration with me?" He asked.

"What? Why me?" She suddenly asked.

"It's everyone's dream to sing with their idols. Mine is to sing with you." He said.

"I-I don't know about this. I need to talk to our manager first before this." She said.

"You can just say no." He quickly said. The smile dropping from his face.

"I'm not forcing you to sing with me. If you don't want to then that's it." He added.

"I will! How about me?" JiU asked, coming over to them.

"I'd love that. But I still want an answer from Gahyeon." He said looking back at her. "So?"

"No." She simply said.

"Thank you for giving me an answer Gahyeon. JiU I'll happily accept. Could I get your number? So I can contact you for the day." She wrote it down before handing it to him. (Y/n) stood up before saying his goodbyes both to Dreamcatcher and the fans.

Timeskip
News of (Y/n)' s appearance at a Dreamcatcher fan signing blew up all over the kpop community. This was a nice thing for the girls since it gave them a bit more attention, less than they deserve but it was something. Clips of him confessing his bias was the most important part. People started shipping him and Gahyeon, while some shipped him with others. Mainly JiU since (Y/n) had already teased a collaboration with her. A small preview of their duet was released and the internet went crazy for them both.

It didn't take long for him to befriend JiU. They quickly got to know each other pretty well while their recording sessions. If he didn't have his eyes set on Gahyeon still, he'd be fawning over her already.

That's what was really interesting. Every time that he asked to meet up with JiU, Gahyeon always tagged along with a few others. Even during the recording sessions.

The truth was, she actually did want to say yes. But it was the heat of the moment. She was nervous, being proposed a offer like that so suddenly. She was going to say yes but it seemed like JiU wanted it more than she did. She was just as interested in him as he was in her. She'd be lying if she said he wasn't attractive. Sure, he was probably your average male idol but he seemed more than that.

He admitted to liking her group, even confessing his bias. She didn't want to jump to conclusions but she felt like he liked her. Well... whatever chance there was for that, it's probably gone now. JiU really likes him, she's been talking nonstop about (Y/n).

Yeah it made her sad that a potential good relationship could've happened between them if she had just said yes. She didn't even know if he liked her that way. God, she wanted to rewind time so badly.

But then what if he did like her, what would she have even done or say? It's not like her company has a dating ban, nor does his. Just imagining dating another person made her all delusional. They were still idols after all.

Not every fan is always happy with their idol being happy and dating or finding love like a normal person would or should be allowed to do. Just like at what happened the recent couples, big yikers. She thought to herself.

Present Day
Today was the day that JiU and (Y/n)'a video was being released. He had full control of this project and was editing and producing the and video itself. The video exploded as views were going up constantly by the minute.

(Yeah, just imagine you are the JiU with the suit. Yes, she's this talented that she can collab and duet with herself)

Fans were sailing their ships because it seemed to be happening. JiU and (Y/n) looked so happy singing together. Their lovely eyes staring at each other as they repeated "I want you."

Of course, there were the fans that weren't happy with this duo. Saying that she's using him to gain attention and popularity. Clips of her offering to be the one who sung with him instead of Gahyeon was seen and shown in the light. For the next few days, for both of the idols they've been pestered nonstop about the other. Neither of them admitted to any of the rumors of course, because they weren't together.

(Y/n) was attending a talk show at the moment due to his most recent song and situations with Dreamcatcher. The host and fans were expecting just him, but when he appeared on stage he brought one more person with him. JiU and (Y/n) came out together, fans cheering their names together.

As they approached the host they greeted him and bowed, before taking a seat. Well, JiU took the seat after (Y/n) offered it. There was only one seat since JiU wasn't expected to come along. He stood beside her hand her the mic while the staff scrambled to go grab another chair and mic.

"Wow... this is quite unexpected. We didn't think you'd be coming along as well JiU. This is quite a surprise." The host said.

"I knew things probably wouldn't work out if I told you she was coming with me. But don't worry, I've confirmed with my manager and they've agreed to this, same with her's." He said.

(Wouldn't you love a world where idols could be friends with one another without the public losing their shit for even a second?)

"I don't see a problem with that. As a matter of fact, you two are the topic of the show tonight. Your latest song "Honesty" was a huge hit. Fans are loving it and it seems that you're both becoming quite the power couple."

"Couple?" JiU said smiling at (Y/n).

"Very funny." He said, grabbing the mic that a staff member quickly ran over and handed to him.

"So being the main reason you're here tonight, I wanted to ask you (Y/n). What is JiU to you? Was it just a duet or something more between you two?" The host asked.

(Y/n) turned and faced her and she did the same. "You wanna be the one? Or do you want me to say it."

"I want to hear what you're going to say." She said. The fans cheered for her line as they began to die down so that they could hear him speak.

"Well... for starters I... love her—" The crowd erupted as expected with those three words.

"As a friend." And everyone's cheering stopped. Jaws dropped and silence filled the room.

"So are you saying that there's nothing going on between you two?!" The host said loudly.

"She has been the best. This is my first time singing with another person of course, so I was nervous how I would synchronize with her. Turns out I didn't have to worry about anything. Her voice is so lovely I could just fall asleep listening to it. And I really do love her as a friend."

"I'm just speechless... JiU?"

"Yes, we've gotten to know each other better these past weeks. Every moment with him is just amazing. He's been great, he has an amazing voice, the way he writes his songs and even the way he looks at me. I love you too." JiU said.

"You two are so lovely together. Please tell us you're just joking!" The host said.

"Nope, we're just friends. He has his eyes on someone else, as do I." Shocking the host and fans.

"Wait so... that means the person who (Y/n) like is still—" A fan asked gaining his attention.

"Yes, I still like her. For those who haven't seen or heard, I attended a Dreamcatcher's fan signing. People kinda now know that I do have a bias, and it's Gahyeon."

"I offered her to collaborate with me but she refused, so JiU took up my offer. But that doesn't mean I've given up yet." He added.

"So if you're watching, which I know you are. Gahyeon... I really like you. I'd appreciate it if you gave me a chance to spend some time with you. Lunch, dinner, a day out, you name it and I'll be happy to spend it with you." He finished off.

"He's all yours creampuff!" JiU said, constantly pointing both fingers at (Y/n).

The rest of the show went on. The host pestering about their song and the meaning. The classic and boring stuff. What was more important was that like (Y/n) had mentioned about a certain somebody listening, Gahyeon was watching from home. When she heard that he still wanted her, she exploded into a blushing mess as the others were watching with her. They teased and shipped her knowing that she really does like him as well.

Once the show did end, Gahyeon quickly ran into her room to hide. She knew that JiU was going to be dropped back off. Knowing him, he's going to want to see her.

She was just confused... is this something that's possible? Can she really date him? He liked her, she liked him, would it work for them?

Fans, paparazzi, everything. It wasn't going to be easy for both of them. Would he mind it all? Would he really want to be with her?

She wondered this, because she would endure all that to be with him as well. The problem is just mustering the courage to talk to him.

Time passed as she drifted off in these thoughts. Eventually she fell asleep, having to be tucked in by Dami. She missed seeing JiU coming back home. Good news was that (Y/n) didn't come in with her. He begged JiU not to drag him in, he said he'd rather wait for Gahyeon's response.

Timeskip
Still nothing from her. It's been weeks since he declared that he still wanted a chance with Gahyeon. He liked her, but there's always a limit to everything. And as far as he could see it, it wasn't mutual between them. He was pretty much done at this point, he didn't want to push it any further than it needed to be pushed.

He still had a career to focus on as well. He just had a comeback a few days ago. As expected, it blew up and fans loved it. His schedule was filled up with performances and fan signs.

Today was a fan sign, thankfully. Performing is tiring, any idol can support or agree to that. The meet and greet went on as any other would. Nothing special really happens at these. Sure it was nice to see your fans and interact with them but it's not always entertaining.

(Y/n) was finishing up with another signature as he heard a small scream within the line. A crowd began to form and caught his attention.

"Oh shit." He thought to himself. "Deja vu" was the correct term, as he recalled what happened when he attended another fan signing.

(Y/n) called his security over and saved the said person being smothered in the crowd. They pulled the person away from the grasps of fans and brought her out onto the stage.

Fans cheered, screamed, yelled, and (Y/n)'s jaws dropped. There she was, standing in front of him, stunningly beautiful. Her disguise was on, horribly. Not enough to cover her beauty which is probably why some fans noticed.

Gahyeon was beyond embarrassed at this point. She didn't want to cause a scene. She greeted him and the fans before he walked over and handed her a mic. Gahyeon tried her best to refuse but failed as he lead her up to his table and gave her a seat beside him.

"So, what brings you to my fan signing Gahyeon?" He asked.

"Same reasons as you had for mine." She spoke into the mic.

"Deja vu... right?" He said as they both laughed at his reference. Finally, a smile from her.

"Was that all you wanted? Just a signature? Or were you looking for more like I was?" He said smirking. She hid her face in embarrassment but he quickly pulled her hands away making the fans scream louder.

"Don't hide your face. You look cute when you're embarrassed." He said.

"Stop... I cant take this anymore. I just wanted to give you an answer." She said.

"You're serious...?" He asked, shocked and surprised. She nodded as a bright smile appeared on his face.

"I should've been the one who sang with you. You tried to make me jealous, both you and JiU. It worked (Y/n)... you win." She said.

"If you'd like, would you want to go out with me? I still want to get to know you better (Y/n)." She finished off saying. At this point their ears have already tuned out the screams of fans.

"I'd love that Gahyeon. So... are we a thing? I'm sure they would like a confirmation." He referred to their fans.

Gahyeon hesitantly grabbed his collar and pulled him down closer to her before giving him a small peck on the lips. She couldn't help but laugh at her own actions as he couldn't help but wrap his arms around her.

"She's all mine! Take all the photos you want. Say what you want, her heart is mine. I'm never losing her." He shouted into the crowd.

The tension died down as the fan sign continued, Gahyeon staying next to his side. Fans asked for her signature as well. Their ship has reached its designated location, there was no more hazardous obstacles to stop them anymore.  After the fan signing he drove her home. Upon entering her dorm for the first time, they were surprised with a small celebration for the both of them.

This was the real first win for her. Even if her group may not win. She won his heart before she even knew it. Every moment from here will be a win for both of them.

Alright, finally finished. My first girl aside from Twice. I switched a lot of things from my original plans, but I liked this one too. I really hoped at the point where I finished, Dreamcatcher would've won their first award. Sadly... it still hasn't happened, yet I hope. These girls are just so talented and I can't get over the fact that they won't win because judges and fans can't adapt to another genre of music. Judges literally gave the win to another group because they weren't fond of rock music smh.

This was their best comeback yet and it's being wasted. I just really hope they power through and don't think badly of it.

How was it? Was her personality off? I'm still not used to writing about these girls yet. As much as I love them, I still don't know them perfectly. But I'd still like to write more for them. Especially the rest of my bias wreckers in this group, JiU will get her own chapter.
