I'm sorry for this

-

Taeyong lies in the dark. Cold, and all alone as the silence around him fills his ringing ears. The sound of sad beats runs through them, and he can't help but feel all the sorrow, all the pain rushing to his heart and mind.

The thought of him makes his heart turn with pain, with loving torture. Everything. His smile, his laugh, his confidence, his cuteness, his everything.

Him.

He was always there. Always there for Taeyong, no matter what. No matter what. He was his other half, his best friend, his whole world. Taeyong couldn't help the tear that ran down his cheek, a sad and lonely tear. He curled up as he swiped through his phone, looking at pictures and watching old videos of him and the boy.

"Jaehyun! Your suppose to pose! It's ruined now!" A small boy cried dramatically as he turned towards the larger boy.

Jaehyun just gave a laugh and held the boy by the cheeks while calling him "cute" and "such a baby."

"We can do it again Taeyong! We have all the time in the world." The boy said while wrapping his arm around the sulky boy whose frown instantly turned into a smile.

"Ok!"

Taeyong smiles at the memory, remembering how what a naive kid he was. He then swiped and saw a recent, last, video of him and the boy.

"Taeyong! Happy Birthday!" Jaehyun yelled as he held a cake.

"Jaehyun you rat I told you not too!" Taeyong yelled, but was smiling and secretly enjoying it.

"I know, couldn't resist." Jaehyun said cheekily, and Taeyong gave a kiss on his cheek.

"I love you Tae~"

"I love you too Jae."

"I love you too Jae." Taeyong said in unison with the video. He felt warm in his heart because of the videos.

Jaehyun was everything too him, his best friend, his lover, his world. Taeyong couldn't go a day without him.

But now he has to go forever.

Because he's gone.

Jaehyun left 2 years ago, left this world, and Taeyong couldn't get the memory of his face, his stupid laugh and his smile out of his mind. He couldn't live. So he stays cramped up in his house, living days as if they weren't even there.

Taeyong has never been so ill, so lonely, so scared and sad. Jaehyun left and it was the worst. How his hand went limp in his, How his weak smile disappeared, how the heat of his body went away.

And just like that.

His whole world crumbled.

Died.

Everything worked on, lived on, and functioned on, was gone.

His whole world went black, darkness was the only thing Taeyong knew. The only thing he'll ever know anymore. His light died, and now it was just him and the shadows. It was gnawing at him, making him want to take action into temptation and give way every single day.

He then turned on a voice call, from 2 years ago, before his lover died. Before any of this had happened, and closed his eyes as he listened to that soft honey voice.

"Hey Taeyong. I'm sorry for not being there these past days- I've been busy and can't keep up with my life anymore! Hah! I've gotten to many interviews and they said I could be next CEO! I'm so excited and I just hope this dream comes true- it I just want you to know I love you. No matter what, I'll always think of you, and I wanna be there with you. Once I get this job I'll give you anything you want! Name it!- a big house!- dream car!- anything! Anything you want." The voice said in a happy tone, and Taeyong couldn't help the sob that caught in his throat.

"I miss you. A lot- I wish you the best and happiness until I come back. I love you so much- and I'm sorry I can't be there. I love you Taeyong!~~~ I'll be back soon- wait for me." Then the call ended, and that voice ringed in Taeyongs ears.

Everything was wrong.

Everything was so wrong.

Why did it have to be this way? Why did it have to be him? Why did it have to be the nice and innocent ones?

"Why wasn't it me?" Taeyong whispered a cry, and let tears fall.

"It should've been me." He cried and sobbed into his pillow.

"Please come back. Please." He cried and couldn't stop. His voice hurt, and his head was pounding.

"I cant take it anymore." He cried and cried, and kept crying. He didn't stop until he felt light headed, and passed out.

Falling into darkness, seeing a shining bright light in front of him. He covered his eyes from the brightness, but when he looked up he gasped.

"J-Jae." He choked out as he saw the angel in front of him, giving that stupid dimple smile.

"Taeyong, don't be sad." The soft voice whispered and Taeyong couldn't help the tears fall.

"How could I not be? Your dead- gone- and I couldn't do anything- and I'm dreaming. Your gone- your-" Taeyong cried out, but was cut off as he was developed into a warm hug. Those strong arms wrapping around his small body frame, he remembered this. He missed this. He missed it all- he missed him. He didn't hesitate to wrap his arms around the angels body and cried.

"Taeyong, look at me." Jaehyun whispered as he pulled away, and saw the miserable tear stained face boy, and his heart instantly broke into two.

"Stop doing this to yourself." He whispered as he pushed some overgrown hair out of Taeyongs face. "Please. Don't be sad. Go out, and live on."

"I cant- not without you-" Taeyong started.

"Yes you can. I'll always be there, beside you. Watching you as you grow. I'll always be there." The angel whispered as he started to fade.

Taeyong instantly panicked as he dropped to his knees as he tried to reach out but his hands only went through the fading figure. He looked up and felt his eyes gloss again.

The angel slowly leaned down and cupped Taeyongs face as he wiped the fallen tear, and smiled at him.

"Don't cry anymore. Smile. I love you." He whispered and Taeyong smiled sadly as tears fell.

"I love you too Jae."

Taeyong jolted up in bed. Sweating and felling as if his lungs were about to burst. He gasped for air, his head felt like it was about to pop and he looked around the room. Paranoid all the sudden.

He then thought back to what had happened and closed his eyes as he regained his cautiousness. He then opened them and realized it was all a Dream.

All of it.

But couldn't help but let a small smile onto his face as he got up and opened his curtains. The bright sun shone onto his pale skin and he was blinded for a moment, but got used to it and looked down on the busy street. And looked at the tall buildings and the planes on the sky, and smiled as he looked at the sky.

"Thank you Jae." He whispered.

Live today.
Because when the sun comes up
Tomorrow's a new day.
