"What do we do? WHAT DO WE DO?" Noelle cried further, waving her arms like she was drowning in the air.

"Everyone get away from Susie!" Kris barked. They all did as instructed, leaving Susie standing alone. Kris put his hand out. "Give me the axe."

"Please tell me you know what you're doing..." Susie mumbled, as she slowly passed the axe to Kris. He firmly grasped it.

"I'm a fu***** highschooler. Not a full grown medical professional. I know a fair bit because my mom taught me, that's it. Google helps too," Kris replied, he pointed to the floor. "Now, get on the floor. We need to do this quick."

It felt like all her hope escaped her body at that moment, panic in her eyes. She did as instructed, laying down vertically on the carpet under her. It felt so cold, but it didn't really bother her...she already was as frigid as an icicle.

Kris's and Susie's eyes met, they took a moment to appreciate the moment. Kris sighed and whispered to Susie "stay calm...the calmer you are the better the chance of you surviving."

Susie nodded, taking deep breathes in, and large exhales out. She thought about all the things she'd done in this life, the pain, the heartache, the joy, the fun...was it all going to be wasted away?

"I'm ready," she whispered, smiling at Kris. Kris smiled back but frowned at the task he now had. It had already been 30 seconds, and there was no time to waste. Everyone backed up, covering their mouths as the sound of crying echoed and ricocheted off the walls, landing right at Kris. Kris smiled.

"It's been good knowing you, Susie...if you die, just know that you...you have people that care for you," Kris told her, and then shook his head in disapproval. "I'm sorry."

Kris raised the axe, as Susie prepared her self, taking more deep breathes. Kris let the feeling of overwhelming weight come across his arms, as they shook and finally gave. They landed down, and by they, it was the axe.

No one had heard Susie scream, but now that they did...they were mortified. It wasn't a scream that one would normally hear, no it was not a movie scream. It was so much more real, so much scarier, so much more horrifying. Everyone screamed, as the cries only got louder from there.

Kris tried to drown the screams out as he hummed. He had chopped off the entire arm swiftly with just one slash. Kris kicked the limb away, as blood gushed out and Susie suffocated from her own screams. He quickly swiped off a white tablecloth from the table and wrapped it around the wound.

"GET ME MORE! WE NEED MORE!" Kris ordered. They all ran to every table in the bowling alley, grabbing every table cloth they could find and giving it to Kris. He wrapped more and more on where her arm used to be. They wrapped enough to stop the blood from pouring out onto the carpet. However, Susie had passed out from the loss of blood, and they had no idea if she was dead or alive.

"Help me drag her to the bathroom...if she turns we can't have her here," Kris explained. He grabbed onto her other arm, Lancer grabbed her right leg and Noelle grabbed her left. They lifted her off the ground and set he down on the tiled floor of the bathroom. Then slammed the door shut, and locked it for good measure.

"Kris?" Ralsi whispered. Kris didn't turn around at first just from pure shock, but then finally looked at Ralsei.

       "Yeah?"

"What are the chances that she'll...you know."

"If i'm being honest here. Her chances are low. As in 5% chance she won't turn," Kris replied. He sighed again, there was nowhere to escape to anymore that was safe. Nowhere to escape the wails of Noelle...not even his own mind was safe anymore. It was never safe anyways, though.

"Are we safe anymore here?" Martha asked, coming forward as she clenched her hands.

"Not here...we'll know at least in 10 minutes if she's gone. Either way, we're getting out of here. We're getting to the school. No matter what."
