Summer break came to a quick end as you made your way back to the school you remembered having trouble with. As you walked through the halls once again, you thought back to your meeting with Kise and Kasamatsu. You couldn't wait to see them once again.

You turned the corner through the passing of many students and made your way to the I hall with your locker. You just wanted to put your things away and hurry to breakfast to meet up with the two. But as you neared your locker, you saw someone leaning against it.

"Kasamatsu!" You jumped up to greet him and ran towards him.

"Hey!" He stood up straight and waved.

"How are you!?" You couldn't take your eyes off of him as he began to explain how his summer went and he sure as well couldn't take his eyes off you.

"And how are you?" he asked as he finished.

"Well, I'm good since we're back in school although I wish our break could've been longer.." You started to open your locker and put some books away.

"If your break was longer, you wouldn't be able to see me then!" He teased.

"Hey, I did see you though! I went to all of your games!"

"I guess you did.." He smiled. "Are you done yet? Kise is waiting for us."

"Oh, where is he?" You searched around for him.

"Waiting.." Kasamatsu answered as he began to lead the way.

"Oh, then let's hurry!" You jogged up to him and walked alongside him.

"_______-cchi, don't you know how much I missed you!?" Kise whined as he hugged you tight.

"But Kise, I went to all of your games.." You said.

"I still missed you but I'm glad that we're here together now!" Kise released you and patted your shoulders.

Just then school bell rang and the three of you agreed to head on out to class. "Bye, Captain, by _______!" Kise waved and he dashed off to his class. You both waved back and you two would soon part as well.

"See you then, Kasamatsu." You were ready to head out when he stopped you.

"Uh, _______!" He called out. "I was thinking.." His voice was beginning to shake slightly. "Let's meet up after practice.."

"Huh?" You felt as nervous as he was. "Oh yeah! Sure, I'd love to!"

"Really? That's great! I um.. I'll walk you to class." You could tell how happy he was to hear your answer but he still was flushed nonetheless.

"Th-thanks, Kasamatsu." You smiled with your pink cheeks too.

"Kasamatsu, you sure are taking a long shower, huh?" Kise's voice echoed in the locker rooms.

"I wonder why.." Moriyama pulled a shirt over his body.

"Must be her.." Kise laughs softly as he pictures you in his mind.

"Oh that cute girl the two of you keep hanging out with? I'm jealous, why haven't you introduced her to me yet?" Moriyama pouts.

"She's the Captain's already." Kise stands up and stretches. "Captain! I'm going to leave now." The sound of water stops and Kasamatsu grabbed a towel and stepped out.

"Alright, good job today. You too, Moriyama." He says as he ruffles his wet hair.

"You too, Captain." The two say their goodbyes and leave Kasamatsu alone to get dressed.

You waited at the front of the school where you would usually meet Kasamatsu and Kise. You were growing more nervous though because Kise wasn't going to be there but that's what you assumed at least. You sighed as you blew a piece of your hair away from your face.

"Sorry to keep you waiting.." You turned around to the voice and saw Kasamatsu.

"I didn't wait long anyway.." You smiled as you stood and stretched your legs out.

"You don't have to lie to me.." He walked forward. "So, where would you like to go?"

You followed after him and walked next to him. "Anywhere.." You paused. "Anywhere with you, Kasamatsu.." You forced a smile though you felt so much embarrassment after saying that line.

Kasamatsu looked at you shocked before his face reflected just how happy he was. "Well, of course you'll be with me! S-so where do you want to go with me then?"

You couldn't suppress a laugh after seeing him so flustered. "Let's just go somewhere and be together. It really doesn't matter to me.."

"That's too broad still, _______.. I guess we'll go wherever our feet take us then." Kasamatsu offered a hand as he said this.

You hesitated at first since the two of you never held hands before. You reached out your shaky hand and held it in his own trembling hands.

The sun disappeared into the horizon as the two of you walked in a lonely park, hand in hand still after exploring all over together. You two were no longer shaking from each other's presence. If anything, the two of you just wanted to be together for as long as you could.

The two of you stopped in the middle of a grassy a area and looked up at the sky above. "The sky is beautiful, huh?" Kasamatsu asked.

"It really is.." You answered.

"Say.. I've been meaning to finally tell you one of these days.." He turned to face you.

"Kasamatsu.." You looked at him and waited for him.

"I'm sure you can tell.. and it's wrong to say that I might know how you feel too.. but.." He took a deep breath. "I like you a lot.. _______."

Your heart leaped as you heard this. You couldn't speak for a while because you've been waiting for this moment. "You're right Kasamatsu.. I like you a lot too.." You looked to the ground and blushed.

"I'm sorry it took so long.. I didn't know how to go about it.."

"That doesn't matter. I was always with you from the first time we met and I'm with you now.." You grabbed his hands and gave them a light squeeze. "That's what matters most.." You stepped closer to him and you could feel his warmth.

"You always know what to say huh?" He looked at you with an unmoving smile. "I'm so glad we met." His face was getting closer and closer until your lips met softly with his and you two shared your first kiss under the stars.
