*picture isn't mine* Enjoy!

"You-you mean you know this girl?" Adrien asked, looking down at his bad sketches of the girl. To be honest, he was sure nobody would be able to capture her true beauty in a piece of paper. He got all the image wrong, he couldn't include the light in her eyes, charm in her smile and life on her laugh. Alya and Nino nodded, changing exchanged looks as Adrien cupped his hands over the coffee, a shiver running up his spine. Winter was coming. "Who is her? Why do I dream of her?"

Alya sighed dreamily, then shook her head. "It doesn't matter. You can't think about her anymore, you will only hurt yourself."

Adrien scoffed. "This girl has been haunting me. Whatever connection I have with her, I want to break it."

"Believe, it's already broken." Nino said sadly. "Don't say or show this to anyone. Don't ever mention her in your dreams, it's better if you forget this every happened."

They stood up abruptly, ready to leave. Adrien rose to his feet again, his voice coming out more in a pleading than an accusation. "I seemed to love her in my dreams, like she was the one thing I couldn't live without, like I was nothing without her. Who is her? I need to know."

Alya sighed and stared at the ground. "I'm not going to answer that no matter how much I want to. Just-just let go of her."

Without another word, she grabbed Nino's hand and left the coffee shop. Adrien sighed and sat back down, looking over at the scattered drawings of the girl. What  had they called her? Marinette. Her name was Marinette. "Marinette," He tried to say out loud, his voice coming out and hanged in the air. There were some names like Mildred and Myrtle, that the pronunciation wouldn't sound good. But Marinette...

"What-what are you doing?" Marinette asked her voice filled with doubt as Adrien guided her to the ice. "I'm not good with these things, I'll trip!"

"If you hang onto me, you won't have to." Adrien said, his neck warm thanks to the scarf she knit him for his birthday. Marinette obeyed him and grabbed his hands, her pink glove falling nicely on his and she stood close to him. He laughed and pulled her close, their face millimeters apart. From the benches, Alya and Nino whistled and demanded for more drama. Adrien rolled his eyes and Marinette laughed, as they broke apart to start skating hands interlaced. Marinette skated nimbly as Adrien skated like he was a professional since age three. Marinette looked adorable with her ladybug hat and scarf she had knitted herself, yet blushed furiously.

"I'm not good at this," She said before falling to the ground. Adrien laughed and laughed until his stomach seemed to explode, from the benches, Alya and Nino were taking video and were laughing as well, enjoying the little scene Marinette had made. She grunted and extended her hand and Adrien, still snickering, offered his hand to pull her up but he was thrown off balance when she pulled him towards her, falling next to her as both laughed equally. "But I am good in embarrassing both of us."

He laughed with her and stood up, offering his hand to pull her up again. She finally let this time and they continued to skate, his arm wrapped around her waist to guide her as they made at least seven hours in the skating rink. As they dropped their shoes, Alya pointed to a photo booth and the four of them immediately knew what to do. Nino grabbed Alya's hand and dragged her into the photo booth and Adrien second the action, grabbing Marinette's hand tightly against his and dragged her to the photo booth.

To their surprise, they all fit on the photo booth and started to make weird faces. Adrien reached out for Marinette's hand in every picture, on the first one, Adrien crossed his eyes, Alya pretended she was dead and Nino had killed her with an invisible ax and Marinette looked like a ghost. In the second picture, Marinette and Alya pretend to be dogs while Adrien and Nino pretended to be casts being chased by the two girls. In the third picture, Adrien pulled Marinette close and kissed her cheek by the time the camera snapped the picture, god knows how Alya and Nino looked like.

In the last picture, Adrien pulled Marinette even closer so their foreheads touched and from the corner of his eyes, he saw Alya and Nino do the same as the camera snapped the picture. In the end, they left the plaza with more than just four pictures, a giant teddy bear that blinded Alya when she walked, two cotton candies-each in Marinette's hand, and drinks and popcorn. They left the night with a romantic movie, Adrien reaching out his hand to squeeze Marinette's once in a while.

After the gorilla dropped off Alya and Nino in his house, the gorilla stopped at Marinette's house, glanced behind his shoulder to see if Adrien had handle the situation. He nodded and opened the door to the car, leaving it open for Marinette. She thanked him and made her way to her house, that was, until Adrien grabbed her hand and without gorilla seeing, dragged her over behind her families bakery and put his finger to his lips.

He reached down and took out a little piece of paper he handed to Marinette, stuffing it into her pocket. She looked up to him with her big, gorgeous eyes that would mark the sky and stars. She furrowed her brow and he did nothing but hug her. She reacted surprised, but then hugged him back, his insides exploding with all those sweet feelings Marinette made him feel.

He pushed her gently away and stared into her deep eyes. "I love you."

She smiled. "I love that you say that to me every time we break apart. It's not like I'm going to die."

"Still, you turned out to be Ladybug, I turned out to be Chat Noir...anything can happen." He said as the snow circled around them, creating vultures just above their heads. Under the lamp post, Adrien could analyze every fragment of her beauty, wishing to see more and more. He cupped her cheek, leaned in and very carefully, kissed her lips. She kissed back like it was a normal kiss, but Adrien kissed her like he would never kiss her again, like nothing would ever break them apart expect himself. He kissed her like time was slipping away, like it would never stop for both of them. He kissed her like tasting her lips was a desire his body needed in order to survive. He kissed her like they were the moon, the stars, the waves, the leaves.

Like they were immortal.

She broke apart and stared at him, breathless. Adrien leaned in again, but she cut him off. "I need to breath, you know."

He jerked back and smiled as Marinette smiled and hugged him again. "I love you," She said silently.

"Love you too, bugaboo." Adrien replied into her hair as they broke apart. He grabbed her hand, their gloves on their pockets, and was finally able to interlace his fingers with hers. They walked over the bakery and kissed her goodbye, watching as Marinette slipped away from him again. She winked at him as her parents closed the door.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN?" Adrien yelled frantically, his hands shaking over the thousands of sketches of Marinette.

Behind him, Chloe smiled like nothing happened. "Yes, Adrikins, she's the girl that died. I have no idea why, all I know is that she had something similar to you but was never found, so, they didn't put her in comma and she didn't forget like you did."

"And what, you didn't tell me I had a dead girlfriend?" Adrien asked, perplexed and furious.

Chloe shrugged her shoulders. "I didn't think you would care."

Adrien scoffed and shook his head, almost pulling his hair out. "OF COURSE I CARE! I used to love her and now I find out she's dead. Why didn't anybody tell me? I'm not saying you, but not even my mother! Those rascals, Alya and Nino, they knew and because they hate me they want to see me suffer."

"They were told not to talk to you." Lila said, her eyes rising from her book to finally join the conversation. "By them, they would've stopped you from making poor life choices. Dating Chloe for once."

She scoffed and turned her attention towards Adrien. "Adrikins, honey, it's been four months. You didn't have to grief like Alya and Nino! Think about that! No crying needed."

"Stop. Talking." Adrien said and opened the door from her room and let the hotel abruptly. He walked down the streets with a warmer jacket, his hands tucked into his pocket and his mind lost in another universe. He wanted to yell at Chloe, screw that, he wanted to hurt her. She had hurt him in many ways, like inventing their relationship established before falling into comma, like insulting Lila always behind her back, like bothering Alya and Nino who could've been their best friends in another life, in the life he used to live before something killed Marinette and snatched the remains of his life away.

He stood upon her grave, a thick air surrounding him as his eyes started to water. Chloe didn't think he would grieve? Why was he crying over her grave, holding a couple of roses he had bought previously and kneeling down to put them?  Suddenly, his sobs became heart-breaking, saddening as his hands started to shake as he wrapped his arms around the grave like he was hugging Marinette from there. He started to sob in a way a heart would break into two, like crying was the only thing life allowed him to do now.

"Come back!" He yelled into the air, his voice quivering and breaking because of his sobs and intense thoughts. "Don't you know I'm nothing without you?"

People were staring at him like he was abnormal, but he didn't care. She was like the stars and he was only focusing on the day. What a precious thing he had...but he was too blind to see it. He passed his fingers frantically over his hair, almost pulling them out over the immense wave of sadness crushing him to his death. His vision turned blurry, his body went slack as memories started to flood back into him, memories with Marinette and how deeply he cared over her.

"Help, please," A voice said from down below. He looked over to see a weird creature staring up at him with wide, blue bell eyes, oddly similar to the girl he loved. "She's hurt, help, please."

Without another word, the creature's eyes rolled back, the light disappearing from those eyes bigger than lakes, and it collapsed to the floor, it's flickering light ceasing to nothingness.
