*picture isn't mine* Enjoy!

He woke up with an abrupt start. Adrien looked around to see the haunting graveyard he was in. His head pounded with ache, perhaps of the impact Chloe's purse had on his head. Oh, he would kill her when he found her. Adrien grunted as he sat up, a slim breeze making him shiver as he found the exist and walked away.

Adrien's mind hurt more than usual like they had dropped a bomb inside his head and his cells were the victims of the explosion. Everybody around him looked so...normal, happy like they didn't have a care in the world. It was odd to see the world in such dark way, but nothing in life stayed happy. Everything around him...his mind processed it differently. What did Chloe do to him? He saw a child asking for ice-cream, Adrien only saw the villain Stormy Weather.

He had to keep himself updated when he was gone, not remembering every akumatized villain around Paris, he had been one for a short moment, but nobody would tell him what turned him back, why Lady Misfortune roamed the halls. Nobody wanted to remind him of such dark past. Suddenly, people started to look like akumatized villains. A photographer passed down the street. Adrien imagined him capturing everything he saw in his camera.

He saw a man change from human to a panther and eat a person whole.

He bumped into someone. Adrien swore and look up to see Lila worryingly looking before him. "Is Chloe with you?"

She shook her head. "She ran off chasing you and that was the last I saw of her. Killed her already? You should've saved some for me."

"No, I mostly think she killed me." Adrien said, touching the back of his head where Chloe had hit him. "Why are you dressed like that?"

Lila jerked back, hurt. "Dressed like what? Adrien, I've worn this shirt millions of times."

"No, you're dressed as a fox." Adrien described, the image of Lila with a mask and a fox outfit too real before his eyes for him to think otherwise. "You have a tail and a slim, white and orange suit and a mask that covers your face, not to mention the ears. Why the ears?"

"I'm not wearing any ears!" Lila complained, taking a step back then drew a shaky breath. "Let me guess, I have a flute instead of a book?"

"Precisely," Adrien replied, starting to pace in circles. He stopped abruptly as he turned to stare down at his hands. They weren't human hands, they were wrapped in what seemed artificial, black leather with claws like he was a cat. Adrien looked up to see his clothes which weren't normal like the ones his new helper had picked up this morning. They were filled with the same type of suit like he was some kind of superhero and he had a choker with a...cat bell. "I'm a cat."

Lila seemed at nothing to panic. "Adrien, you're a human being. You talk and walk and don't drink milk and chase mice. Are you feeling...normal?"

Adrien touched his ears that somehow seemed to grow out his golden locks in horror. "I'm a cat."

Lila sighed. "And I'm a fox? What is Chloe? A horrible snake?"

Adrien closed his eyes, trying to imagine Chloe but instead of receiving the same image he'd seen of her, he had a girl with a high ponytail, bee printed suit and tall black boots that reached to her knees. Her mask resembled too much of a bees and black, delicate, beautifully patterned wings grew out whenever she gave the call, an army at her fingers. "A bee."

Lila scoffed. "Should I call a doctor or something...?"

"You don't understand!" Adrien called, staring horrified as he grabbed a stick and dropped it to the ground, shrieking. "I'm a cat with a stick!"

"Why would you drop your phone?" Lila asked. "Adrien, it's your bloody phone that costs millions of euros!"

"It's a stick!" Adrien protested, picking it from the ground, a familiar weight in his hand. "See?"

"All I see is a broken phone." Lila answered, grabbing his hand and guiding him throughout Paris, not saying a word. He kept his mouth shut not because he was worried Lila might turn him into an asylum, but because the images in his mind were too horrifying for him to speak. He had someone else by his side, someone short, with blue navy hair and the same familiar blue-bell eyes he'd used grown to. A sarcastic but gorgeous smile with perfect teeth and a face so pure it was angelic. She would grab her shoulder and offer him a wink, a smile, a kiss-which almost made him doubt if he was loyal to Marinette-but when she was about to say something, a huge wound appeared on her stomach.

A few cuts on her cheeks followed up by dirt, a black eye, messy hair. Suddenly, she was gasping for air and the unknown beauty in front of him was nobody else but Marinette, collapsing to the ground, damping in a pool of her own blood her hair was no longer blue. She gripped his hand like it was the end of the world, the light disappearing from her eyes. No, not the light. Life. The life was disappearing from her eyes. He yelled in a way people would think he was being killed. He pulled away from Marinette's dying hand and backed away, falling to the ground.

"Adrien?" Her dead voice asked, her dead eyes freezing his body from the inside...if that was possible. "Adrien? Don't let me go, hold onto me."

"Get away from me." He muttered back.

"ADRIEN?" Lila's voice said, snapping him back to reality where a crowd of people had gathered around him, looking at Lila and then back at him like both were the disabled ones. He stood up and brushed the dirt of his cat suit that still wouldn't come off. "What is happening to you?"

"I have a cat suit and you have a fox suit." He replied, not caring if some giggles escaped throughout the crowd.

"No," Lila corrected him, her body action saying she wanted nothing with him anymore. She wanted to leave this mad boy in front of her who had a dead girlfriend, a traitor girlfriend and was imaging she had a fox suit and he a cat's. "You are wearing the same outfit you've always worn like any other day."

"Then why do I feel like it's so real?" Adrien asked, holding up his hand. "I have a ring, a black one."

"You have no ring." Lila said and pushed past the mob, her hand tightly wrapped around his wrist and pulled him into an alley, her concern for him rising and falling like the air. "Don't move."

She disappeared for a moment, Adrien counting every longing moment. She returned with his mother at her side and Adrien grew worried. His mother was such a precious being, she shouldn't be bothered with just some hallucinations Chloe's purse had given him. His mother put two of her hands on his shoulder, shaking him. "Adrien, are you okay? Why is Lila saying you think you're a cat?"

Adrien opened his eyes again to see a cat-like creature in front of him, smiling up at it took a bite from it's cheese. "It was about time you woke up." He said. "We have work to do, you know what to say."

Adrien's lips broke into a smile. "God, how I missed you. Plagg, CLAWS OUT!"

Yeah, so remember I told you I was going to be in a hiatus? I've been watching MLB too much lately even though I'm supposed to study. I got inspiration to write this chapter and it was quick, so I'm sorry if it's too bloody short. I don't have that much time and I'm not getting any kind of sleep. Right now, it's 10 p.m and I'm supposed to go to bed at nine. So...something went wrong there. XD

Happy birthday to Jenna! I seriously bloody love you!

Anyways, stay miraculous!

(real hiatus coming on now, if MLB doesn't come into my way)
