"What are we doing, papa?" Blue asked as he seated on the little compartment in the cart.

Taeyong hummed, reaching for the bags of flour at a rack, "Buying ingredients for cookies. Do you want papa to bake cookies for you?"

The kid enthusiastically nodded, "Daddy bakes me cookies too!"

The omega looked at the alpha who was the one pushing the cart. In all honesty, Taeyong wouldn't really think that Jaehyun could cook. Of course, they have maids and chefs to do it for them. But knowing that Jaehyun knows how to bake and cook seemed to flutter the omega's heart.

"Really?" Taeyong asked, his eyes already at Jaehyun.

Jaehyun hummed, "Well, my mother used to bake so she taught me."

"Daddy makes the greatest cookies! Oh, maybe daddy can cook for papa too!"

The alpha looked surprise at what his son has said before he looked back at the omega who has a smile on his face. Taeyong crossed his arms and tilted his head to the side.

"You're gonna cook for me?" Taeyong asked.

Jaehyun chuckled and started pushing the cart, "I'll think about it."

The omega gasped and caught with them, "Hey, that's unfair!"

The alpha smirked at him, "What's unfair? It's a lie."

"Kids don't lie, Jaehyun."

"I rarely cook or bake anymore. I'll probably give you poison," Jaehyun said and stopped as he saw the bag of sugar which he grabbed some and placed them in the cart.

Taeyong pouted which caught Jaehyun's attention, "That's impossible!"

The alpha looked at the omega that looked too cute to ignore. Was it weird that he almost leaned and kissed the pouted lips? It was urging him. Tempting him, probably. He looked at the pink lips, subconsciously biting his lower lip before he looked away. If he wasn't bonded, he could've just made the move right where they're standing.

"I'll think about it."

"Papa, I have a trick to hear a yes from daddy!" Blue suddenly said.

Taeyong chuckled as he reached the bag of chocolate chips and placed it in the cart, "What is it, baby?"

"Kiss him!"

The omega's eyes widened then his eyes went up to look at Jaehyun who was taken aback as well. Taeyong cleared his throat.

"Papa is fine if daddy doesn't want to cook. He's busy, right? He might not have any time to," Taeyong said to Blue, "Okay?"

Blue nodded, "M'kay!"

Taeyong walked ahead while Jaehyun still has his eyes at the omega.

After doing the grocery, Jaehyun kept everything inside the car before the three of them went to the nearby park. Taeyong has Blue in his arms while they walk around. There were people littered, lights were on and the breeze was cold enough to let them enjoy the night.

Jaehyun was walking behind them. He stared at how his son was snuggling close to the omega. Taeyong was pointing things from afar then saw Blue giggling at whatever the omega was saying. The alpha looked around while he slowly grabbed his phone inside his pocket.

He put it up, trying to capture to cute sight. When Blue leaned his head against Taeyong's, he pictured and saved it. He looked at the results and couldn't help but smile at it.

"What is that?" Taeyong asked, pointing out something.

Blue hummed, "Tree! It's a tree, papa."

"Right. That's a good boy," Taeyong kissed his little prince's cheek before Blue tried snuggling against his papa. Taeyong gently rubbed Blue's back.

The omega looked back, looking for the alpha. His eyes landed at Jaehyun smiling at something in his phone. Taeyong timidly smiled at how happy Jaehyun looked. Then he felt his heart dropped at thought that maybe Jaehyun was talking to someone. Maybe a date? Someone important, maybe.

"Jaehyun?"

The said male snapped out and immediately put his phone down. Jaehyun puts it inside his pocket again then looked at Taeyong.

"Is he sleeping?" Jaehyun asked, walking closer to the omega.

Taeyong hummed, "I think so. Maybe he got tired of playing."

"I can carry him instead," the alpha said.

"But you seem to be busy a while ago."

Jaehyun gently grabbed and carried Blue. He placed him in his arms comfortably before he looked at Taeyong with a questioning expression then he suddenly realized he might've saw him looking at his phone a while ago.

"I'm not. I just saw a cute picture, that's all," Jaehyun said as they continued to walk.

"Not...a date?"

The alpha chuckled, "No, Taeyong. I'm not in the mood, remember?"

Taeyong mentally slapped himself, but he still managed to let out a small laugh.

"Y-Yeah, right...But, seriously? Don't you want to have a lover?"

His mate is literally right infront of him but Jaehyun doesn't know that.

"Funny thing is, my gut tells me no. Maybe I really just want to have my full attention to Blue. But...I don't know," Jaehyun sighed, "Life is full of surprises."

Or maybe because Jaehyun believed that Taeyong's bonded to another alpha.

Taeyong nodded, "What kind of person you'd want? Maybe I have friends you might like."

The man laughed, "I'm fine..."

"C'mon, just for fun," the omega uttered, wanting to know if he is ever qualified to any of Jaehyun's preferences.

Jaehyun rolled his eyes, "Fine. Let's see...I've really wanted to have a mate so an omega would be preferable. Nothing against betas or other alphas, I just want to have a bond. I don't really have any specific physical appearance."

"I just want...someone who will love Blue the same way as I do."

Blue has always been Jaehyun's center of attention that all he wanted for his son was happiness. Jaehyun could sometimes get busy or upset but he'll still have Blue at the end of the day. What's important to him will always be his first priority, which is his little prince.

Taeyong felt his heart flutter about the fact that Jaehyun really loves their son. A man like him really does exist. Everyone would die for him, but he's unfortunately stuck with an omega like Taeyong. Was it really unfortunate? Taeyong feels lucky to have a mate like him, and also be the father of his first born.

Will Jaehyun feel the same way as he does? Taeyong got scared just imagining the answer to it. The omega never likes to be hated. He's still afraid of telling the truth to the alpha. What's scary is how Taeyong starts falling for Jaehyun every second of the day.

"Hey, are you tired? We can go home," Jaehyun asked worriedly.

Taeyong was able to pull up a smile, "Yeah. We need to put him to bed. Also, we have a family day tomorrow."

"Right. Let's go?" Jaehyun uttered, letting his dimples appear very attractively.

"Let's go," the omega answered.
