Weeks passed and their relationship has gotten deeper. Taeyong and Jaehyun have spent most of their time together. Well, as much as they can since both of them are still busy with work. As a family, they agreed on spending the weekends together and go out for fun.

With little time, they've made so many meaningful memories.

They've been well. Jaehyun has never been this happier than before. Everything seemed like to be worth waking up to. He always gets excited seeing Taeyong. Though he's busy because of the upcoming anniversary party, he has Blue's birthday coming up as well so he's been so busy.

Despite being too busy, it didn't fail for him to notice how Taeyong suddenly became distant.

Jaehyun was maybe too clingy and wanted Taeyong to be always around but he felt something different. He told himself that he might just be paranoid and his mate just got busy but Taeyong could've just told him. The omega hasn't messaged or called him about his plans so it made him feel worried.

Early in the morning, Jaehyun would always pick up Taeyong at the apartment so him and Blue would be at school together. He wore his usual office suit and fixed his hair. He looked at himself at the mirror until his eyes landed on the calender on top of his dresser.

"Daddy, let's go!"

Blue suddenly called which made Jaehyun to snap out. He grabbed his phone and bag before he goes out of his room to see his kid all ready for school. The alpha smiled and held his kid's small hand before they go down the stairs. They walked out of the house to get into the car and Jaehyun drove out of the lot.

They drive their way to the apartment and didn't take too long for them to arrive. Jaehyun parked before he took his phone and called his mate. It took a few rings before Taeyong answered it.

"Hey, you ready?"

"Wait, wha--Oh, gosh...I overslept. I'm sorry! J-Just please, wait a minute!"

"No, it's fine. Take your time."

"I'm really sorry...Come inside for a sec while I prepare."

"Okay."

Jaehyun ended the call. He turned the engine off and went out. He goes to open the backseat door and bent down to look at Blue who has his big eyes at him as well.

"Let's go, baby. We'll wait for papa inside," Jaehyun called.

Blue nodded. He slid and hopped down before Jaehyun closed and locked the car. He carried Blue and walked towards the apartment door. He knocked against the wood and heard footsteps behind it. It then clicked and opened to reveal a young omega.

"Uncle Hyuckie!"

Donghyuck smiled at them, "Hey, have you guys eaten breakfast? Hyung told me to let you guys in."

The omega stepped aside to let them in. The alpha walked in and thanked him. Donghyuck closed the door behind them before he goes to the table where he was currently taking some breakfast. Jaehyun then puts Blue down on the couch with the dogs completely curious about the little guy.

"We did. It's actually surprising that Taeyong woke up late today," Jaehyun uttered.

"Oh...don't worry, maybe he's just busy last night and slept late," the omega answered.

The alpha nodded and took time before he spoke again, "Is everything...alright?"

Donghyuck looked at him, stopping from what he was doing, "What do you mean, hyung?"

"I mean, I'm just checking. Nothing too serious," Jaehyun said.

"Why? Concerned about something? Is it Taeyong hyung?" the omega guess.

The alpha was about to answer but they heard a door open. They looked back and saw Taeyong all ready in nice casual clothing. The omega still has his hair wet since he was in a hurry. He looked at Jaehyun and gave him a smile.

"Let's go? You might get late for work," Taeyong said softly.

Jaehyun nodded. They told Donghyuck to keep the door locked before they left. Taeyong was seated on the passenger seat who was spacing out. The alpha was worried and wanted to talk to the omega to clear things up.

Things were unusual.

When they arrived at the school, Taeyong about to go out but he was surprised when Jaehyun held his wrist. He looked back at his mate and got nervous when Jaehyun seriously looked back at him.

"Stay here. We need to talk," Jaehyun uttered.

Taeyong slowly nodded before Jaehyun walked out and goes to carry Blue into the school. The omega just sat there, waiting, until the alpha came back and sat back down on the driver's.

"What is it you want to talk about?" Taeyong asked.

Jaehyun sighed and looked at him straight into his eyes, "Tell me, Taeyong. Do you have any problems?"

The omega furrowed his eyebrows at him, "Wh-What?"

"You can talk with me about anything. I'm your mate and lover. Everything that's bothering you, you can talk it to me, Taeyong," Jaehyun said.

Taeyong smiled at him, "I'm fine. Don't worry about me, Jaehyun. I'll talk to you if ever something does bother me."

"Promise?"

"Promise."

The alpha was still worried but the omega assured him. He grabbed his mate's palm and intertwined his fingers with his skinny ones. Taeyong held it and felt his heart thumped when Jaehyun kissed the back of his palm, on his knuckles.

"Blue's birthday is coming up," Jaehyun uttered.

"Oh, right. Does he want a party?" Taeyong asked.

"Hm, we will...But I don't think I'll be able to be hands-on."

The omega raised an eyebrow, "Why?"

"I should attend our company's anniversary party, but I'll help you if I have time--"

"No, it's fine. Leave it to me," Taeyong uttered.

"I should help atleast," the alpha said.

"Me and the others can work it out. Don't worry about it. I'll call you if ever we have some problems, okay?"

Jaehyun stared at his big doe eyes before he sighed, "Okay. We can talk about it later."

Taeyong hesitantly nodded, "Sure...I-I better get going. My class will start."

The alpha leaned forward to kiss on the omega's lips. Taeyong kissed back before they pulled away. Jaehyun smiled sweetly before he lets the omega go.

"I love you," Jaehyun said.

Taeyong chuckled, "Love you. See you later."

Theomega then stepped out of the car. The alpha was still left unconvinced.
