"Mark?"

Donghyuck, an omega, called when he heard the front door creaked open. He might thought Mark returned even though Mark didn't say anything about him visiting. The omega was just hoping. He looked behind and saw his puppies ran towards whoever was by the door. He heard footsteps walking closer and smelled the familiar scent of lavender.

"H-Hyung! Wow, you're here already?" Donghyuck said with a nervous laugh after. Hopefully, he won't smell anything fishy around here.

The omega's brother was Taeyong. They lived on a small apartment but enough for the both of them. He looked at his brother who looked really bothered though he has a smile on his face. Taeyong walked towards his younger brother to ruffle his hair before he sat on the couch beside Donghyuck and placed his bag down.

"How was university, Hyuck?" Taeyong asked while he has Ruby and Bomi on his lap.

The boy hummed, "It was fine, I guess," he looked at his brother before he spoke again, "Anything you want to talk about?"

Taeyong frowned and sighed, "I don't know what to do right now."

"Why? Any problems? I can help you with it, hyung--"

"It's about the alpha I've been looking for."

Donghyuck's eyes widened. He reached out for the remote and turned the tv off. He faced his brother so he could talk to him about it.

"Did you see him? What was he like? Did he do something to you?" the omega asked.

Taeyong shook his head, "Jungwoo had a talk with him for a bit...Oh, god, what if he sees me? Should I quit? We should move out. Find some other universities you could go to--"

"Hyung, shut up, okay? Isn't it what you wanted? To see him?" Donghyuck uttered, "You wanted to talk to him, didn't you?"

"I did...But I got scared just thinking that he might be mad at me. I clearly ruin his life without him knowing," Taeyong said. He was close to crying from being so overwhelmed because of the alpha.

"He was drunk and I was out of my mind. He didn't know I got pregnant. Then he received a child from me...that he probably it was from nowhere! I even doubt he knows we're bonded to each other."

Everything that night was a mess. The alpha was drunk and Taeyong needed money since Donghyuck got hospitalized that time. They were nothing so Taeyong just had to do it in the easiest way. He practically sold himself to the alpha and it was his fault for being able to do some protocols.

Taeyong really felt sorry for what he has done. He should've brought his collar and birth controls. But what did he even expect? He was just really all over the place. He just needed money for his brother. It wasn't clearly Donghyuck's fault neither he was an excuse. Taeyong was just stupid.

"Hyung, calm down. You haven't really seen him, did you? I'm sure there are thousands of people named Jaehyun in the world," Donghyuck said, "You aren't even sure if he really is the alpha you're looking for. Also, you don't know if he has your son, alright?"

Apparently, Taeyong knew the alpha named Jaehyun just because he stumbled on a business card.

The omega sunk on his seat with a pout on his face. He sighed, "Yeah...I haven't seen him. But what if it's really him? We move out, ok--"

"Hyung, we're not going to move out! No one's going to move, alright? If it is really him, then talk to him. He deserves an explanation," Donghyuck said, "But I doubt he'll get mad at you."

Taeyong looked at his brother, "Why? What I did was unacceptable."

Yeah, it was. Taeyong regretted about not being able to protect himself from being taken that easily. He regretted that he let an alpha impregnate him. He regretted he gave the baby away. But he didn't get any chances back then. He got nothing. Maybe that Jaehyun guy gave his son a better life than he could ever give.

"You're soulmates."

Taeyong groaned and covered his face with his palms, "Hyuck, not now--"

"He won't bite you if his alpha didn't want you. You wouldn't even let him do it if your omega didn't want him."

Taeyong hummed, still with a pout on his face and his arms crossed on his chest. He couldn't remember what he felt that day but after what happened, he just kept on wanting to see that alpha again. He could blame it on the mark or to his omega, but maybe it was just him.

He looked really worried about it but at the same time, it was his chance to see his son after for so many years if he really is the alpha. He would love to see him.

"Don't overthink about it too much. Tell Jungwoo hyung if he could be the spy for a while," the young said, "Like, let him know more about that Jaehyun guy."

Taeyong looked hesitantly at him, "Would Jungwoo do that?"

"Of course, he'll do that. It's you anyway," his brother said.

The omega sighed before he nodded, "Okay...I'll blame you on this if this didn't work."

"Hyung, your brother's a genius."

Taeyong laughed then heard Donghyuck complaining about his brother laughing at his statement. The boy thought what could happen if he was able to explain things to the alpha. Would they stay together? But they barely know each other. His hand went over his neck where the mark was. It was always hidden, not wanting to stumble on the question 'who's your mate?' and 'where did you meet each other?'

He also thought if Jaehyun cares to find him as well. Or maybe wanted to have a talk since they had a child. Was his son looking for him? The same way as he does? Taeyong doesn't still know how would he react if he'll be able to face the alpha. Maybe he'll chicken out.

"By the way, who is Mark?"

Donghyuck froze on his spot while he watched tv again. He jolted a bit but he just gave him a nervous laugh.

"M-My friend! Yeah, my friend!"

Taeyong furrowed his eyebrows, "It's an alpha, isn't it?"

"Hyung--"

"Donghyuck!"
