I went home swiftly after my shift had ended.

I was still a little shocked about Aurora's confession, and I still had a hard time believing it. I mean, how could she, a lovely, perfect sylveon, like me, a lame, worthless leafeon? It didn't add up.

I got home in a short time as usual, and went straight to my room.

I was in there with my door shut for a couple of minutes, when there eventually came a knock on the door.

'Knock, knock, knock.'

"Yes?" I asked, wondering who had come to bother me this time.

The door opened revealing...Constan. Of course it was him. He had obviously heard about the 'event' tonight, because he was trying to suppress a grin on his face.

"Oh no..." I mumbled.

"I heard." Constan said. He shut the door behind him. "I heard it all from Shen and Jomp. I can't believe it! You have gotten someone to fall for you? I never in a million years thought it would happen!"

I scowled at him. I knew that he was only 15, and I was 16, so I couldn't expect him to behave like a responsible pokemon.

"Ok, ok." I said stopping him. "It would've happened eventually. It just took time. Plus, I may not even WANT it to happen."

Constan lost his grin. "Why not? Love is awesome. It's just really nice to have. Why don't you want it?"

"Because it's not good for your health." I answered him. "Imagine if you fall for someone, then they leave you after a while. It would be heart-breaking. Thus, you would get depressed, and never want love again. You would shut everyone out from you life, and not want anything to do with the world."

Constan began pondering what I said. I was hoping he would understand where I was coming from.

"I can't believe you would avoid it because of a possibility!" He exclaimed. "So what, you would avoid pokemon battles because you might hurt yourself or die? That's a horrible way to live! No adventure, no action."

"I can live without action and adventure,"  I told him. "I am about business and becoming successful in life."

Constan frowned even more.

"You are boring and delusional." He said to me.

"You are annoying and pushy." I snapped back.

He stared at each other with our best glare faces. He eventually looked away, and opened my door to leave.

"You are wrong you know," He said before he left. He then walked out of my room.

I was not wrong! How could I be wrong! I wasn't wrong...

Was I?
