Melissa: The final duel of the first round will be Y/N (XYZ) vs Dennis! I have a feeling that we're calling Y/N's name a lot.

Y/N (XYZ) stands next to Shay.

Shay: I need you to be careful. When I dueled against Dennis earlier, I got a strange feeling that he was hiding something.

Y/N (XYZ): I never trusted that clown.

Y/N (XYZ) closes his eyes and holds onto his Emperor Key.

Shay: You'll be fine, Y/N (XYZ). Just stay calm and you'll be okay.

Y/N (XYZ): I don't think I can be.

Shay: You're not alone, Y/N (XYZ). You have me and Astral.

Y/N (XYZ): I failed her, Shay. I failed Lulu.

Shay: You act this way every time one of your girls are in trouble. You're just very protective.

Y/N (XYZ): I will get her back, Shay. I'll do whatever it takes.

Melissa announces that the duelists need to enter the arena. Shay offers his hand to Y/N (XYZ).

Shay: We'll make it out of this, Y/N (XYZ).

Y/N (XYZ) hugs Shay for a second and then lets go. He gets on his duel runner and rides to the starting line. Dennis comes right up beside him.

Dennis: Hey. You look like someone I know.

Y/N (XYZ): Not the first time I've heard that.

Dennis: Anyway, let's have a great duel. Okay?

Y/N (XYZ): I'm going to be honest with you. I don't like you or trust you. I know you're hiding something and you better hope I'm wrong.

Dennis: Someone is grumpy but whatever. This will be fun!

Melissa: Let the duel begin!

Both riders take off. Y/N (XYZ) exits the tunnel first so he gets the first turn. He closes his eyes for a second.

Astral: Just breathe, Y/N (XYZ).

Y/N's (XYZ) eyes begin to glow and this startles Astral.

Y/N (XYZ): I'm sorry, Astral. But the time for patience is no more.

Turn 1- Y/N (XYZ)

Y/N (XYZ)- 4000 LP/ Dennis- 4000 LP

Y/N (XYZ): My turn. I summon Gagaga Magician in ATK Mode.

Gagaga Magician: Level 4- 1500 ATK/ 1000 DEF

Y/N (XYZ): Gagaga Magician's effect, activate. Once per turn, I can change its level between one and eight. I choose Level 5.

Gagaga Magician: Level 4 - - -> Level 5

Y/N (XYZ): Gagaga Child's effect, activate. If I control a Gagaga monster, I can special summon this monster from my hand.

Gagaga Child: Level 2- 800 ATK/ 1200 DEF

Y/N (XYZ): Then it becomes the same level as another Gagaga monster. Now it's Level 5.

Melissa: Y/N (XYZ) starts off the duel by XYZ Summoning.

Turn 2- Dennis

Dennis: It's my turn. I draw! I activate the special ability of my Performage Cup Tricker. I take away an overlay unit from an XYZ monster on the field and then I can special summon this monster. I'll take away Gagaga Child. I can now summon Performage Cup Tricker from my hand and your XYZ monster loses 600 ATK.

Peformage Cup Tricker: Level 5: Scale: 1- 1200 ATK/ 1400 DEF

Y/N (XYZ): That's not a real card.

Dennis: Seems real to me. I activate the spell: Magical Pendulum Box. I draw the top two cards from my deck. If both are Pendulum monsters, I add them to my hand. If one of them isn't, both go to the Graveyard. I draw. I drew Performage Bonus Dealer and Performage Overlay Juggler. Since both are Pendulum monsters, I add them to my hand. I now use Scale 3 Bonus Dealer and Scale 6 Performage Overlay Juggler to set the Pendulum Scale. I'm taking control of this duel starting now! I can now summon monsters from Levels 4 through 5 all at the same time! I Pendulum Summon! Appear, Performage Wind Drainer, Performage Wing Sandwichman, and Performage Ball Balancer all in ATK Mode!

Y/N (XYZ): Stupid anime only cards.

Dennis: I bet you can't guess what happens next.

Y/N (XYZ): You going to summon a clown and more fake monsters?

Dennis: Bitch, you guessed it! Whoo! You's right!

Y/N (XYZ): Kill me now.

Dennis: I overlay my Level 4 Performage Fire Dancer and Ball Balancer to build the Overlay Network! Direct your gaze to the skies above, as I present to you a swinging star performer! I XYZ Summon! Performage Trapeze Magician!

Dennis: I'm not done. I overlay my Level 5 Performage Wind Drainer, Wing Sandwhichman, and Cup Tricker to build the Overlay Network! I XYZ Summon! The Monster with the silhouette you can't forget! Performage Shadow Maker!

Performage Shadow Maker: Rank 5- 2600 ATK/ 1000 DEF

Y/N (XYZ): Back to the fake cards.

Dennis: I activate Trapeze Magician's special ability! Once per turn by using one Overlay Unit, I can target Shadow Maker so it can attack twice! Shadow Maker's effect activates. Since it was targeted by an effect, I can detach an overlay unit from it and then special summon a second Shadow Maker from my Extra Deck! Now Cup Tricker's effect activates. Since it was detached as an overlay unit, I can take an overlay unit from my first Shadow Maker and give it to the second one. Now the second Shadow Maker's effect activates. Since I was targeted by a card effect, I can remove one overlay unit from it to special summon a third Shadow Maker!

Melissa: Unbelievable! In a single turn, Dennis has special summoned four powerful monsters! The duel could be over this turn!

Dennis: Time to battle! Trapeze Magician, attack ZW- Leo Arms!

Y/N (XYZ): Enough! I've had it with these fake cards in this dumb duel! Let me show you what I think about them! Trap card, open: Mirror Force! This destroys all of your monsters!

Dennis: That might be true but most of those monsters were Pendulum Monsters. They go to the Extra Deck and I still have my Pendulum Scale. It's only a matter of time. I end my turn.

Melissa: Dennis loses all of his monsters.

Turn 3- Y/N (XYZ)

Y/N (XYZ)- 4000 LP/ Dennis- 4000 LP

Y/N (XYZ): My turn. Draw. Magic Card: Card of Sanctity, activate. This lets us draw until we have six cards in our hands. I summon Goblindbergh in ATK Mode.

Goblindbergh: Level 4- 1400 ATK/ 0 DEF

Y/N (XYZ): Goblindbergh's effect, activate. I can special summon one Level 4 or lower monster from my hand. I choose Gogogo Gigas.

Gogogo Gigas: Level 4- 0 ATK/ 2200 DEF

Y/N (XYZ): I overlay my Level 4 Goblindbergh and Gogogo Gigas to build the Overlay Network! Well then, Dennis, since you've taken someone important to me, say hello to Number 39: Utopia!

Dennis: There's the famous number! It's kind of unfair to summon a monster like that since it can only be destroyed by another monster.

Y/N (XYZ): You'll get more than you'll ask for. Magic Card: Rank Up Barian's Force, activate. This turns Utopia into a Chaos XYZ Monster! I rebuild the Overlay Network with Utopia. Now go Chaos XYZ Evolution! Come on out, Chaos Number 39: Utopia Ray V!

Melissa: Dennis escapes from receiving huge damage.

Dennis: My turn. I draw.

Y/N (XYZ): You know as much as clowns suit you, I think there is a particular monster type that fits you better.

Dennis: Whatever could you mean?

Y/N (XYZ): Fusion user says what?

Dennis: What?

Y/N (XYZ): TRIGGERED!

Dennis: I've had enough of you! I'll show you who I really am! First I activate the spell: Foolish Burial! This lets me send a monster from deck to the Graveyard. I activate the spell: Chaos Ancient Gear Fusion!

Y/N (XYZ): (Sarcastic) Oh my gosh! He's an Academia spy!

Dennis: I've had enough of your taunting, you fourth wall breaker! Prepare yourself because I'm about to turn this duel around!
