Y/N (Synchro): I'll win this for you, Rin. Then I'll find you and bring you home.

???: Hey!

Y/N (Synchro) looks to see where the voice came from. He looks to see Akiza standing next to Carly, Luna, Misty, and Sherry.

Akiza: Don't you dare lose! Or we will break up with you!

Y/N (Synchro): I'm really not that nervous. I don't lose often.

Carly: Well, you better win because I need a story for my blog.

Luna: The duel spirits are watching over you, Y/N (Synchro).

Y/N (Synchro): Thanks, girls. I needed that.

The girls leave to find their seats. Sylvio rides up next to Y/N (Synchro).

Sylvio: Y/N (Standard), didn't you already duel this round?

Y/N (Synchro): No. This is my first duel this round.

Sylvio: Strange. You look a lot like someone I know.

Y/N (Synchro): Not the first time I've heard that. Anyway, let's have a great duel today.

Sylvio: You seem like a strong opponent. You better not hold back.

Y/N (Synchro): I never do.

Melissa announces the start of the duel and it begins. Sylvio comes out of the tunnel first which lets him go first. Akiza is disappointed that Y/N (Synchro) isn't going first.

Sylvio: I'll start! My turn. I use Scale 3 Abyss Actor- Extras and Scale 8 Abyss Actor- Funky Comedian to set the Pendulum Scale! I'm taking control of this duel starting now! I can now summon monsters from Levels 4 through 7 all at the same time! Looks like this Duel's about to swing my way! I Pendulum Summon! Appear, Abyss Actor- Super Star and Abyss Actor- Sassy Rookie!

Abyss Actor- Sassy Rookie: Level 4: Scale: 2- 1700 ATK/ 1000 DEF

Sylvio: I activate Super Star's special ability! It lets me set an Abyss Script card from my deck straight to my field. It will be destroyed at the end of my turn, though. I add and set Abyss Script- Opening Ceremony. I will also activate it. It lets me gain 500 LP per Abyss Actor I control. I have two so that's 1000 LP.

Melissa: Impressive. Sylvio shows that he can Pendulum summon too.

Y/N (Synchro): I summon Goblindbergh in ATK Mode!

Goblindbergh: Level 4- 1400 ATK/ 0 DEF

Y/N (Synchro): Goblindbergh effect, activate. It lets me special summon one Level 4 or lower monster from my hand. I choose Junk Synchron!

Junk Synchron: Level 3- 1300 ATK/ 500 DEF

Y/N (Synchro): Level 3 Junk Synchron tunes Level 4 Goblindbergh! Beat your wings to whip up a whirlwind of destruction!

Sylvio: I activate Superstar's special ability to allow me to add an Abyss Script spell card to my hand.

Y/N (Synchro): Not happening. Clear Wing Synchro Dragon's effect, activate! When a Level 5 or higher monster activates its effect, I can destroy it!

Sylvio: What?

Y/N (Synchro): Reverse Revenge!

Sylvio: No! Since Superstar was a Pendulum Monster, it goes to my Extra Deck instead of my Graveyard.

Y/N (Synchro): Clear Wing then gains the ATK of the monster destroyed.

Sylvio: I activate the continuous spell: Abyss Prop- Wild Wagon. Once per turn during either Battle Phase, an Abyss Actor monster can't be destroyed in battle or effected by card effects. I end my turn.

Sylvio: You're bluffing!

Y/N (Synchro): You think so? Well, let me prove you wrong. Trap card, open: Call of the Haunted. This lets me bring back Flamvell Guard in ATK Mode. Now I summon Tuningware in ATK Mode!

Tuningware: Level 1- 100 ATK/ 300 DEF

Sylvio: What can a monster like that do?

Y/N (Synchro): Not much on its own, but with the help of the right cards, it can do plenty. Level 1 Flamvell Guard tunes Level 1 Tuningware! Gathering wishes will call out a new speed's horizon! Become the path its light shines upon!

Y/N (Synchro): Shooting Star Dragon effect, activate. I draw the top 5 cards of my deck and the number of tuners dictates how many times my monster can attack. Draw. I drew two tuners. So my monster can attack twice. This duel is over. Battle. Clear Wing, attack Leading Lady! Spinstorm Sky Strike!

Sylvio: Urk.

Sylvio: Thanks to Wild Wagon, Leading Lady isn't destroyed in battle. Now her effect activates. She can lower the ATK of a monster by the amount of damage that was dealt. Clear Wing is losing 1000 ATK.

Y/N (Synchro): Clear Wing Synchro Dragon's effect, activate. When a Level 5 or higher monster is targeted my a monster effect, it destroys that monster and then gains ATK equal to the destroyed monster's ATK.

Sylvio: Wild Wagon also prevents Leading Lady from being from being targeted by effects once per turn.
