I know I haven't been updating this book lately. In fact, I currently have a writer's block for this story.

Don't get me wrong, I am not abandoning this book. However, it will take time for me to update this book again.

To battle the writer's block, I have prepared some facts about this story without spoiling much. I hope you like them.

Chase and Skye are mates, and they have two children named Victor and Zephyr. Both of them are male, and their ages are 4 and 2 respectively.

Marshall and Everest have twins named Blaze and Snow. Blaze is a male and Snow is a female. They're both 2 years old.

Rocky adopted a Corgi mix pup that he found abandoned on the streets. He named her Rose due to her red color. She is 3 years old.

Rubble is going to have a pup with his mate (a female American Bulldog named Gem). The pup's name will be Ember in memory of Marshall.

Zuma had a pup with his mate (a Golden Retriever named Mira). The pup's name is Aqua, and she's only a year old.

Tracker, like Rocky, had adopted a pup in the jungle. The pup was a Jack Russel Terrier named Hunter. He's four years old.

What happened to Rubble's and Zuma's mates?
Rubble's mate is sick and will die of childbirth. Mira abandoned Zuma a year after their pup's birth.

What's up with Rocky and Zuma?
Initially, Zuma was Rocky's mate until he realized that he wanted a child. After Mira abandoned him, Rocky went to comfort Zuma and found themselves raising the two pups together.

What about Rex?
I have decided to not include him in this story as he was still new in the show.

What will happen when a Paw Patrol pup dies?
Another pup will take over the position until the successor has finished training and is 4 years old.

What are the roles of the new pups?
Victor as the police/detective pup, Blaze as the fire pup, Zephyr as the aerial/spy pup, Rose as the fixing/recycling pup, Ember as the construction pup, Aqua as the water pup, Snow as the mountain/EMT pup, and Hunter as the jungle pup.

When each member dies, who temporarily takes over until the new pups are able to?
If Chase dies, Tracker takes over as the police/detective pup while Rocky takes over as the spy pup. If Marshall dies, Chase takes over as the fire pup while Everest takes over as the EMT pup. If Skye dies, Zuma takes over as the aerial pup. If Rocky dies, Rubble takes over as the recycling/fixing pup. If Zuma dies, Marshall takes over as the water pup. If Everest dies, Skye takes over as the mountain pup. If Tracker dies, Chase takes over as the jungle pup.

How will each member die and what is the sequence?
Now that will be spoiling the story. All I can say is that Rocky will live the longest among all of them (except for Ryder, of course).

Speaking of Ryder, what's up with him and Katie?
You pups probably guessed it already, Ryder and Katie will get together. After Marshall died, Ryder would confess to Katie, realizing the importance of time. Eventually, they will get married and have a son named Apollo.

Ages?
At the time of the first death, Chase is 11, Marshall is 10, Skye is 11, Rocky is 10, Rubble is 9, Zuma is 9, Everest is 12, Tracker is 8. Their age gap is based on canon. (Bonus: Rex would be 8 if he's in the story.) Ryder and Katie would both be 14 years old.
