The small (h/C) haired girl made her way down the endless halls stumbling slightly as her heart stung in pain, like multiple knives have impaled in the debris of her a shattered heart.

'How could he? Why would he? Why me why am I always to be the one in pain?' Many questioned soared through her head as she stopped when she heard him call out to her name

"(Y/N) please let me explain!" the short stoic boy shouted. "L-Levi why? Why me? What have I done to you to make such a mistake in placing my every ounce of trust in you?"

Levi bit his lip as he looked at (Y/N), his eyes filled with remorse and guilt washing into his mind in enormous waves crashing against him.

"Look I'm sorry but I fell for someone else when you left...I couldn't tell you I was going to let you know soon enough but I didn't want you find this way" Levi spoke as the tear stained face of the girl he once loved pulled st his heart.

"All those I love you'd, those kisses, hugs, every single time I gave myself to you, mind, body and soul was for nothing huh..." (Y/N) lowered her head as she allowed the tears she tried her best to hold back release to the floor

"That's not true and you know it's not. After your mother died you were so distant you would push me away you were allowing my needs to grow stronger"

(Y/N) ran towards him banging against his chest. Levi felt as if he deserves it for lying, for not being honest, for not being there when she needed him the most.

"I knew you loved someone but why did you lead me on. You always seemed so empty, so far gone in the black void she left that I was trying to fill!" She pounded against his chest with her small fists before stopping, (Y/N) looked down at her shoes, trembling as she nodded holding back the tears that seemed to threaten to fall.

"I understand and I support your decision. She makes you happy, truly happy not the half empty happiness I brought to you. You deserve the best like I said before I'm not one who deserves what I have." She fumbled with her fingers, stepping back before looking up at him

"Thank you Levi Ackerman. I'm truly and entirely grateful that you showed me life isn't always so cruel. That even though someone is as broken as I am, it takes someone s-special to put the back together. But sometimes things are so broken that can't be fixed and I'm one of those things. Thank you for the amazing memories..the laughs, hugs and kisses that I am now forced to forget, thank you" she smiled sadly as she tears streamed down her face

She put on a smile the one that made his heart melt when he first noticed. She stood on her tip toes kissing his cheek

" remember my promise Levi, that I'll always be by your side and never hurt you..n-no matter what, so it's okay..if you forget me. Through rainy days and shattered skies I'll be here for you"
