Leyland Adventures Chapter Thirteen: Part Twenty-One

A discussion about where to eat brewed between the boy and the princess as they walked along the sand. Since Tysashi didn't mind where they'd go, Aradressa could reveal her true intentions.

"Although I wanted to save this for another day, I have plans to meet up with a precious friend of mine. Since she wanted to meet up for food, I figured we'd go to the restaurant she suggested."

"That sounds great, I'd love to meet her. What's she like?"

"Opposed to me, she's tomboyish and neglects manners. However, she does carry an attracting charm. I think you two will take a liking to each other."

"I hope so, it'll be nice to make another friend."

Eventually, they reached a well-received restaurant in Orchtune, The Divine Wings. Stepping into the establishment, a beautiful orchestrated piece covered the area. The charming view of fairies dressed in tuxedos and dresses complimented the sophisticated theme. The chandelier hanging from the ceiling provided an inviting glow, sparkling magnificently. The floors, polished to the highest degree without a single speck of dirt.

Like a child in a toy store, Tysashi couldn't hold back the irresistible urge to look around for more details about the place, all while Aradressa informed the front desk of their reason for visiting.

"Heyo Aradressa, over here!" A recognizable voice called.

She turned her head to the voice, feeling a rush of carefully contained euphoria in her system. She took Tysashi's hand and brought him to her friend.

"What's up, girl? I missed ya! Ooo, is this the boy you were talking about? He's way cuter than you described."

"Was that really appropriate to express publicly, Fayemi?" Aradressa sat down with Tysashi near her side.

"Hey, it's ok, Aradressa. I don't mind. Nice to meet you." He chuckled, taking a quick glance at Fayemi.

Her healthy white skin paired well with her long, flowing blue hair and matching eyes. Her wings fluttered at a gentle pace, making sure not to collide with the seat. Her white tank top surrounded a decent portion of her body, only showing her belly button of her flat stomach. Such beauty could even be comparable to Aradressa's, as well as her alluring fresh scent. Nothing too refined, but enough to fit her.

"Right back at ya, Aerosmith. So Aradressa's told me lots about you. She couldn't go a second without talking about your best qualities, nonstop girl talk. I hope to experience it firsthand."

"Well, that's nice." He smiled while Aradressa was quick to chance the subject.

"Hey Fayemi, why don't you give Tysashi a brief overview of yourself and your abilities?"

"Oh, right! So alot of people tend to refer to me as Aradressa's opposite, in personality and power. As you probably know, Aradressa is a Fire/Healing type, I'm an Ice/Poison type. Aradressa is sophisticated and ladylike, I'm boisterous and daring. Anything she wouldn't do is something I'd more than likely do."

"Sounds about right after what Aradressa told me." Tysashi uttered.

"Well, I hope she told you how we became best buds."

"Nope." He retorted, shaking his head to the side.

"Well, we bonded during-" Aradressa was cut off by Fayemi, as she wanted to tell the story.

"Hold on firefly, I got this."

Fayemi proceeded to tell the tale of how she and Aradressa met during an outing to Orchtune. During her younger years, Fayemi would often stare at expensive products through the windows. Due to her financial situation, she couldn't afford any of the products she desired. As such, she was harassed and ridiculed, at least before Aradressa stepped in. She took Fayemi on a shopping spree, and a magnificent friendship between them developed.

Once the origin of their relationship was revealed, Fayemi began to relay the tales of other activities the two participated in. There was even a time Fayemi went out drinking with the Queen of the Kula Region herself, an activity Aradressa still despises. Her mouth continued to run without a limit. Their waiter arrived to pause Fayemi before she could get to her high-school years.

She took a menu and looked over the delicious appetizers.

"Anything look good to you guys?" Fayemi asked, peeking above the menu.

Receiving a negative response from them both, Fayemi's choice won the popular vote. Now on to the topic of drinks, Fayemi went with the usual, while Aradressa was pleased with water. Tysashi took a bit of time to decide what he wanted, skimming through the options. As he didn't want to take up too much time, he went with water as Aradressa did.

"You know, I heard that Aquiline provided this place with her water, that's why its so nourishing to the body." Fayemi stated, playing with her long strands of hair.

"Even if that were true, that'd be repulsive." Aradressa commented.

"Nah, it'd be cool. If I was a goddess of water, I'm sure people would love to drink my fluids. Honored, even."

"Ahem, anyway, why pick such an expensive restaurant?"

"Because this is the place you took me when we met. I haven't seen you in person since my vacation, so I wanted to bring you here to invigorate our friendship."

"That's- actually quite sweet of you." Aradressa admitted as warmth stirred inside her.

"Yeah, I can be a sweetheart when I want to. Especially for my little firefly."

Tysashi then entered himself into the conversation, stating the two must have a powerful friendship. Fayemi nodded, going through some memories of the most pivotal points of their friendship. Tysashi smiled at her descriptions while Aradressa took a sip of her drink.

"So Tysashi, how many gemstones do you have so far?"

Just as Fayemi asked, her appetizer was brought to her. She dug into her snack immediately as the waiter was ready to take their food requests. The girls had their orders in mind while Tysashi just went with a standard cheeseburger and fries. With the orders placed, the conversation resumed.

"So, those gemstones." Fayemi reminded.

"Oh, right. I've gotten the Fire, Star, Healing, Lightning, and Ice Gemstone."

"Ahem, I unfortunately didn't acquire the Ice Gemstone. Abliss never gave it to me due to her unconsciousness."

"Oh. Well, we've gathered four so far. I'm working on the Aqua and Earth ones now."

"Hey, that's not a bad start! Congrats on surviving so far!" Fayemi smiled.

"Umm, thanks?"

"Aww, don't take it like that. It's seriously great that you're still alive. Some elements like Poison, Psychic, and Time are some of the most dangerous types. The current Gemstone Wielders we have now are no joke and taking them all on is basically a suicide mission. Thankfully, Aradressa's on your side. Together, collecting the rest should be no problem! Actually, ya know what, I wanna help!" She announced, slamming her fist on the table with great confidence.

"Fayemi, I cannot allow you to face any Gemstone Wielder! Especially not when you're still recovering from vacation."

"Girl, I'm fine. I've been itching for some action ever since I got back. Besides, I'll just take on Glace since Mirror-Types aren't too high in power."

"Still, it's unacceptable. Don't you know she won't hesitate to kill you?"

"Psh, I know that. That's why I'm planning on bringing a buddy along with me. All I need to do is hit her with enough force to make her surrender."

"Fayemi, your desire to assist us is inspiring, but please don't do this. You're not as experienced as she is."

"Yeah, I'm not, but your butler is."

"A- Alfred?"

"Yeah, him! I'm sure he wouldn't mind accompanying me."

"Well...I suppose he could do that. You'll have to speak with him about your request. However, I'm still unsure about the idea."

"Aradressa, you and I both know how ridiculously powerful Alfred is. Hell, he'd probably be able to take Glace all by himself."

Tysashi then backed Fayemi up, sharing his memory of fighting him. Although it was a simple spar, Alfred was more than what he seems. Eventually, Aradressa gave into the plan, feeling a bit lighter as Fayemi smiled. Not only due to Aradressa's acceptance, but because the food had finally arrived. The three then enjoyed their individual meals, continuing the conversation even further. Once their stomachs were satisfied, Fayemi handled the check.

The three then took themselves outside to take in the sunlight. Fayemi then asked if the two had any other plans for today.

"Well, I did want to visit Carrigo Village to check on Abliss. Tysashi, I would like you to stay with Fayemi." She requested.

With a nod, he watched as Aradressa left him with Fayemi.

"See ya, firefly! Get that gemstone! Alright Tysashi, me and you. Before we really have some fun, I got a couple of errands to run. Mind helping me out?"

"Sure, I don't mind." He gladly answered.

"Perfect, to the Kula Outlet we go!" Taking his hand by surprise, the hyperactive girl took control. All while entertaining him with some fascinating stories.
