And finally we step to leave

To the departure lounge of disbelief

As the movie faded out, and the credits started to roll onto the screen, I heard her start to hum along to the song. I could feel the smile plaster itself on my face, and I couldn't do anything to stop it. I knew she was looking at me, smiling as she hummed her beautiful melody. It had only been a few hours since Homecoming ended, and my night couldn't have been anymore perfect. Having my princess moment in my dress, but the most perfect thing was her. The way her brown eyes sparkled as she saw the decorations the student council had put up, the way she danced, her pink dress spinning as she did. The our group coming back to my home, and the two of us cuddling together. Having small moment to ourselves as the group chatted away until we all eventually died down and watched some movies.

And I don't know where I'm going but I know it's gonna be a long time.

And I'll be leaving in the morning come to the white wine bitter sunlight.

No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't stop looking at her. I knew I had to get up and change the movie, but I didn't want to. I was warm and happy next to her. Giving a sigh, I stood up to quickly change the movie, leaning back down to give her a quick kiss on the cheek.

Before I could even register how it had happened, her lips were moving against mine. My mind raced trying to comprehend what was happening, how it was happening. Two years of dating, we had only had small pecks on the cheek or forehead, neither of us wanting to be the one to make the move. Pulling away, my heart ached. I wanted nothing more to steal another kiss. She started at me and I started back. "Did we just do that?" Her voice was quiet, almost inaudible.
