Rooney had left Man United to rejoin his old club Everton on a free transfer for 2 years.

He has been an absolute beast of a player when he was at Utd. I mean look at his career achievements.

With this legacy, I'm sure that he will never be forgotten as a player, neither for England nor United.

He was the player that I looked up to as a youngster, and I still do today. Him and Ronaldo were the devil's twins, and when we had Tevez too, we were unstoppable.

The PL and UCL winning 2007-08 season will long be in my memory as the best season that I will ever have witnessed and the team that year was one of, if not, the best Utd team ever.
