I was sitting on the jetski, doing my homework, the garage door closed. But I wasn't focused, kept on thinking about the new kid, Seth, and what happened last night. Before I was a shy, stupid, loser that no body really noticed. Didn't have that much friends, or really much of anything, a real no body.

Now, I'm getting noticed because of a bright yellow double striped 2007 camaro, maybe a new friend, that's a dude nonetheless, a car that's alive and is in a war. As I thought I realized, looking up at the yellow camaro. "Do I have to pay gas for you?"

"No, not often." Was his reply.

I nodded, closing my math book. 'I'll do it later' I thought. "I'm gonna go inside, okay?"

"Alright."

"See ya, Bee." I waved and Bee flashed his headlights. As I walked across the yard I glanced at the road, mire instinct. I heard kid's laughter and voices, I also saw ghost figures running across the front yard.

A small, sad, smile graced my features as they disappeared. I wish things were still like that now, but that was along time ago. As I was told 'don't dwell on the past, focus on the future.' As well as 'There's something's you just can't change.'

I knew that goes there's things you can't change, but sometimes I wish I could.

When I made it to the house, I stepped up into the porch and reached for the door, I froze, with my hand resting on the handle, as I watched a silver 2011 SLS AMG past by. From what Bumblebee told me all Cybertronians were expensive cars and an SLS was expensive, like it-will-take-you-53-years-to-get-enough-money-to-buy expensive.

I watched as it slowed down and turned into my driveway. You would not believe how shocked I was, shocked was an understatement.... Astonished...wouldn't begin to explain my shock when I saw a familiar person step out of the car.

"Seth!?!" I asked, amazement evident in my voice.

Okay, by now I'm mentally freaking out....I mean look at his car! And how does he where I live? Is he a stalker or somethin'?

Or, or orrr....ah. He could be a...a..dang it I lost it! But anyway, I'm freaking out okay! Because... Oh great now he's staring at me like I'm crazy! Weeelll....I can't blame him....BUT! What am I supposed to do? Say 'Hey Seth...you know where I live?' Lemme think about that....mmmm NO! That would be so crazy! Okay....take a deep breath....calm down, you're scaring him....I think.

I came out of my shock and panic, stared at the teen, nervously asking. "I'm sorry, did you say something?"

Seth nodded. "I said: yes, are you alright?"

I mentally turned around and banged my head against the the glass door behind me. 'I...am...such...an...idiot!'

Man, I'm terrible with guys. I rubbed my neck guilty. "Yeeeeah, I'm fine, just surprised you know where I live....unless you took a peek at my school record..."

He stared at me blankly, something my sister did all the tone when she was here. I have him a deadpan look.

"You did, didn't you?" I stated in a monotone voice. Seth nodded, looking quite impressed at my tone. "So, whatcha doin' here?" I asked curious.

"I....wanted to know if you were alright and apologize for..." He trailed off.

"Apology accepted, it was an accident. I understand." I said as I stepped down to the steps of the porch and sat down, feet planted on the first step.

Seth walked away from his car and crossed the yard, when he got to the end I'd the unfinished path Dad never finished, he crouched down to my level.

"Can....can I ask you something" I asked, the ground becoming vary interesting. Silence. I took it as a yes. "W-why did you...sit by me in math?"

I didn't look up as I heard rustling of clothes, but I did when I felt a hand grip my chin and gently forced me to look up. My eyes met a pair of hazel, almost red, eyes. I searched his gaze, nothing showed betrayed nothing.

"I sat by you because you were the only one uninterested in me, as well as anti-social which I am as well. I thought you'd ignore me, well until the last 30 minutes." Seth answered, staring straight into my eyes.

I suppressed the urge to shudder, I never looked straight into someone's eyes before.

"And I noticed that you were the only one not looking at me like I'm a..."

"God?" I suggested with a shrug.

"Why not? A 'god' but didn't care of my presence."

I thought for a second.

"I also noticed that you were the only fe-girl in class that wasn't dressed up..."

I realized he meant by 'dressed up'. "That was because it was picture day. I think its stupid to dress up, its just a picture. But I hate it." I said.

"Why?"

"Because if you go into my house and look at my school pictures they look like mug shots."

He suddenly let go of my chin and walked past me.

"Wait...where are you going?" I asked as he opened the doors.

"To look around."

"Please don't... Seth!" I whined as I followed him through the kitchen. He stopped as he found the first picture frame.

Seth glanced at the Indian cabinet beside the frame then focused on the pictures again, pointing at a three year old blond girl. "Who's this?"

"Me."

Seth looked from the picture to me and back again. "Resemblance noticeable after a while...and this?" He pointed to a picture of my sister who had her arm chained with mine as we stood outside my grandma's house.

"My sister." I stepped forward, pointing at a picture of my mom and her friend Pam. "This is my mom and this is..." I pointed to a picture of my dad. "My dad."

He nodded. "Where are they now?"

I was silent as he stared at me, I glanced at him, sighing.

"Dead" I finally said. 'Died in a car crash. It was late one night and we were coming back from a party my aunt had. My sister was falling asleep, I was on my mom's phone. Dad was driving every thing was quiet then the next thing I know...." I looked out to the road outside. "I know the car flipped over, all I remember is yelling and screaming, pain, and then falling out of the car with my sister."

I lifted my hand to feel the scar of my collision with the asphalt. "Mom and Dad died instantly...."

Seth stared at me as I felt my scar, most likely giving him a glimpse of it. "How old were you?"

"14, we found out it was a drunk driver that killed them..."

Seth stared at me as I shrugged. "But I guess that doesn't matter, it happened, its over, can't do anything about it." I sat down at the table, gazing out the window, leaning on my left elbow. I watched as cars pasted by. "I hated it when I went back to school, they crowded me, trying to get me to talk to them...it just put me in deeper denial."

I felt Seth touch my shoulder and I dragged my attention from the road to stare blankly up at him. He stared back but instead of the emotionless look, in his hazel eyes was something else an emotion I couldn't pin point.

"I'm sorry....I have to go." He suddenly stated.

"Bye." I mumbled absently and watched as he left.
