(12:00 pm four days until Valentine's Day) Lifty was walking down the streets of happy tree town when the town hero Splendid came to ask him, Lifty I know your a thief and all but would you like to go to the happy tree Valentine's Day Festival with me tonight? Lifty hesitated before giving an answer, sure why not? Splendid was happy that Lifty had answered yes and flew off. (5:00 pm) 5 hours later Splendid was still wearing his mask but was wearing a bow-tie with it. Splendid took a minute to wash up and get the heart he had made for Lifty for Valentine's Day then headed for the happy tree town Valentine's Day Festival. As soon as he arrived there he discovered Lifty sitting on the bench alone he had a rose on the right side of his forehead with a pink decorative heart in his arms that said something on the front but that's when Splendids curiosity got the best of him completely. Lifty spotted him and jumped to his feet and blushed a bright pink color. Lifty whispered as he let his shyness get the best of him, he..hey Splendid wh..what's up. Splendid said as he thought Lifty acting shy was kinda cute, nothing much I'm just glad you made it. Then both said at the same time as they held out the hearts towards each other, here this Valentine heart is for you. They were both shocked to hear that both their hearts were for each other. Splendid said as he blushed, that heart is for me? Lifty nodded as he blushed and exchanged hearts. Splendid said as he hugged Lifty not just in gratitude but out of love, thank you Lifty I love you! Splendid accidentally burst out those three words as he blushed, Lifty said as he began to feel happy, thank you Splendid I...I love you too would you like to be my valentine for Valentine's Day? Splendid nodded as he took his hand. Then the two walked towards the festival dance floor and waltz in the most romantic music and dancing ever (to them in anyway it was the best Valentine's Day ever!)
